Buyer Beware!

Buyer Beware! April 11, 2024 By Ztak from Denver, Colorado Buyer Beware! I was excited to see a potential car to purchase even though it required me to travel from my home state of Colorado to Oklahoma City, OK. The pictures I received from Eskridge Lexus of Oklahoma City looked great and after speaking with Navid the sales rep, I made the decision to fly to see the car in person. After test driving the vehicle and being comfortable with Navid 's representation that it comes a with a 3 month /3000 mile warranty. I decided to purchase the car. After the deal was completed I drove 10 minutes from the dealership the brake sensor right came on, stating to replace brake pads. Of course, I turned around and went back to the dealership. Even though it require an extra night in Oklahoma City to get the problem corrected I was still excited about my new purchase. The next day I picked up the car and happy to see no sensor light was on and started my journey back to Colorado. On the trip home I heard a clunking sound from the front of the vehicle. I called Navid when I arrived to explain to him the issue that I was experiencing. I informed him that I was going to take the vehicle to a 3rd party to have it checked out. I went to the car's manufacture dealership in Loveland Colorado. After their inspection and finding the problem they told me to fix it the cost would be $3300. The dealership provide me with a video which I forwarded to Navid. After multiple discussions with Navid and Ed, the sales manager, the grandson of the dealership, they would not honor the warranty they promised and told me that my only option was to return the car for a refund. To my great disappointment they would not honor their commitment to the warranty. After spending money to initially fly to Oklahoma City and the cost of driving to Colorado they left me with the choice of occurring additional cost to drive back to Oklahoma City and fly home. To say the least I am a very dissatisfied customer of Eskridge Lexus off Oklahoma City after them not living up to their representation of the warranty and in addition how they handle the whole situation.

Earl was the salesman that helped us. He is a top notch guy. Took amazing care of us. We bought a used car from them. They answered all my questions. I was prepared with my own financing and they helped us through the whole purchasing process. I would recommend these guys, and I don't do that with most dealerships.

Lexus RX350 Service

Eskridge Lexus in Oklahoma City is an outstanding Lexus Dealer. I have bought two cars from them over a period of 11 years, and they have maintained, and still maintain, both cars. Their service is thorough, prompt, professional, and cost-effective in every respect. They do everything that needs to be done, but nothing that does not need to be done based on each individual's driving conditions and experience. I have the same service manager each time I have my cars serviced, and he knows my cars and my driving experience. He tailors my service to my individual needs.

I stayed at the dealership while I had the 20,000 mile checkup. The waiting area was nice except for the liberal channels on the TVs. My serviceman was very nice and cordial. I did not have to wait long for my auto to be ready. After I left, I had my car rewashed. I guess they had a lot to do and sort of hurried. I have gotten used to this everywhere anymore. Small price to pay for my service.

Emergency service without an apointment

About 85 miles North of the dealership in OK City on I-35 headed South to TX, a metallic object flew up and punctured our Lexus SUV gas tank with a 2-3 inch hole which we did not realize had happened. We noticed the leak only when we went to a filling station as our tank was getting low. After all the gas leaked out, the filling station attendants placed absorbent material under our SUV to sop up the gas. AAA brought my car and my wife Denyse and I to the dealership at about 8 PM. A motorist who met us at the gas station also met us at the dealership and drove us to a motel down the street from the dealership. She as a wonderful and most gracious person full of OK hospitality and was in the area of the dealership as she was picking up her daughter at a sporting event in town. The next day we contacted the dealership and our assigned service representative was very courteous but most importantly was very understanding of our predicament as I had to get back to San Antonio for upcoming business travel to Western Canada as a speaker. I was worried the event might need to be cancelled though I kept most of this to myself as I could see that our service representative was doing his very best to get us back on the road. He quoted a price which I agreed to and the job was completed on the second day soon after the parts were delivered. When it came to pay our service rep. had found a discount we qualified for and the original price quote was reduced by several hundred dollars. The best part of this bad experience was the dealership and the wonderful service we got. My wife read this and added: "And they even washed the car!"

My granddaughter was hurt by the automatic door when an employee was taking another customer out to get the loaner car without giving me a warning. The door hit her in the forehead. She wasn't seriously hurt just shaken up. No one came over to check on her. I specifically asked to have my car washed and vacuumed out. The outside of my car looked good however, the inside was very different. The floor mats were not moved, a dead bug that was not there before was on the dash next to a clump of red dirt that wasn't there before either. The person that "cleaned" the inside was more interested in pizza for lunch than doing their job. I have never been more unhappy with this service.

Superior service is always my experience at Eskridge. On this occasion they found and fixed the cause of a continuous high pitch sound coming from one of my wheels. I always take my Lexus RX350 to Eskridge Lexus for service! They have a very friendly, courteous, caring staff who are very knowledgeable and professional. Ryan in service has assisted me with regular maintenance and has been great in keeping me up-to-date on the status of my vehicle and service cost. Others in the service department have also assisted me and they have all been very respectful and great! They treat me like I am part of the Lexus family. Five stars for excellent customer service!
