Second experience gets the 5 stars

My first experience receives 1 star. Went to this location and test drove a car, absolutely loved it and was ready to work the deal but the Manager was in no need to sell me anything because he low balled on my trade etc. A different Manager reached out to me 2 weeks later realizing we weren’t treated very fairly and worked the deal exactly the way I wanted, which I should have gotten on my first visit. Jenny was great as well as Robert in finance and JT(?) General Manger.. Thanks to them I got the car I wanted and was so happy that I took my daughter there 2 days later and she bought a car as well.

Great service and oil change

I needed to change my oil quick. I called service department and asked if I could have an oil change 30 minutes from my call. They already had my phone in their system and knew what kind of car I own. She made the appointment for me. When I arrived Jason the service manager was expecting me. I told Jason that I am in a rush and do not need car wash and asked if I can have my oil change in 30 minutes. Jason said they will try and in 30 minutes I had my car service done and ready to go. This is my 4th MDX that I bought new from Bob Howard in a row and I highly recommend them to everyone.

Please state correct prices

I went in to investigate/resolve an issue that was draining my battery & while in I was offered to get an oil change, rotate my tires and change the timing belt due to recently hitting 100,000 miles. When I was quoted the timing belt price Emma said it will be $17.75, keep in mind I myself don’t know what a timing belt is and agreed to the services. After I came back to check on my car at the end of the day I get hit with a $2,200 bill! I was never explained that the timing belt took 3-5 hrs of work or that the price was actually $1,775! I had lost a full day of work & spent $1,775 on something I really didn’t need at the time! After speaking with Chris & expressing my dissatisfaction regarding Emma not explaining to me the correct amount for the timing belt as well as how long the service alone for that would take, I was informed there was nothing that could be done since I had signed off on the services. I want to clarify when I signed the tablet there was no total on the screen. I am very dissatisfied with the service Emma provided, I wish she would’ve been transparent and said the timing belt price is one thousand seven hundred seventy five instead of “seventeen seventy five! I will never recommend this place to anyone & will only be returning to fix the recall issue once Acura finds a resolution! You can contact me at Leoluch.k@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Service takea too long. Just bought an Acura and have had it serviced twice. First time visit was 3 hour wait and 2nd was over 4 hours. I hope this was a couple of ‘one off’ situations. Will see on the next service.

Completely Adequate Dealer Experience

Our salesperson T was great and communicated with us consistently throughout the whole process. After waiting an hour to get into financing, the whole finance experience was smooth and fine. The website has a welcomingly expansive and cohesive breakdown of all pricing and packages that can be added to the vehicle, touting "Instant Upfront Pricing". The only issue is that the final cost actually includes an unlisted non-optional protection package anyways, and there was little room for negotiation on the price. I take issue with the online price not showing the actual marked up price you receive once you ask for a personal quote. It seems like a waste of such a well put together web listing; if you are going to mark up a car on a customer, indicate that prior to contact. We came looking for a great car at a good deal, but we only managed to find a good car.

Took car in for routine maintenance. The advisor, Sarah Mitchell, was friendly, kind, patient and knowledgeable. She asked questions to ascertain the specific needs/desires that we had. The work was finished more quickly than the estimated time frame which is always a plus. The service was excellent!

Had car towed to setvice talked to the service department. Mechanic told me my alternator was faulty. The technicians acted fast and check all aspects of the car. Discovered the alternator was operational and also made sure all systems worked. Vehicle is currently under warranty.

Awesome Bob Howard Acura experience!

This service department is the best of all around! They even beat the BMW service I’ve received in the past! The service representatives are always so polite and helpful! They are down to earth and go out of their way to make your experience efficient and pleasant! The communication is always effective! I’m never placed on hold for long periods of time as someone always answers the phone to help you. A major positive is that they never seem to try to make you pay more for a service that is not required. You get a full transparent rundown of the mechanics assessment and can choose what to add without pressure. That means a lot being a woman with limited mechanical background. I always buy Acura for this service experience!!!
