Quantity over quality

Trust is the foundation for repeat customers

I am not happy with my last 2 experiences with Sarchione Chevrolet service department. I've lost faith in their service department and question if I will return. Work was completed on my vehicle in December 2022. It was discovered that there was an issue with my A/C along with a warranty issue on my oil pan gasket (recently installed motor). When work was completed, I noticed that my A/C did not work at all, which it worked fine before the service work. I had paid around $1,000 dollars for the A/C unit to be fixed. The mechanic and Service Advisor told me the A/C would not work in the cold season because of sensors inside and outside of the vehicle that measured cabin temps and outside temps. I disagreed and wanted them to look at the issue right away. They were persistent in their explanation and suggested that I wait until spring to return my Avalanche if the A/C did not work. In April, it was verified the A/C did not work and my vehicle was returned for additional service on the A/C. It was discovered that my compressor was bad, which went bad at the initial repair in December and should have been discovered by the mechanic at that time. I pushed the issue to their Service Manager (Dave) and he agreed that there was neglect on his technicians end even thought the older compressor couldn't take the new pressure in the line. They wanted to bill me over another $1,000 for repairs. The service manager reduced $130 of the bill which I found insulting. I feel that Sarchione Chevrolet should have held more responsibility with this issue, seeing that their tech neglected to verify the A/C worked in December 2022 and the Service Manager agreed their was some neglect was on their end. I was hoping for a more reasonable reduction in my bill and would have happily paid the rest of the bill understanding that it was an old compressor. I've lost trust in the Service department, which up until the recent events felt was good and I liked how they gave you a loaner vehicle while working on yours. Now I feel that I will be exploited for more money and not be treated fairly by the Service Manager, I have no issue with the Service Advisor, Rachel, even more experience with understanding a vehicle would helpful. The staff at billing and car loaning is great.

18 Silverado

I was quite pleased with the service on my truck. I had the battery system completely checked and my battery failed. I had it replaced. I had battery problems 3 days later. I went back around 4:30 pm they checked it and it was a dud. They replaced it right away. I was very pleased

Dissatisfied Customer

Bought a brand new 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss. Salesman did not go over and explain all features and then had me drive the vehicle home after telling him the vehicle was misfiring while idling. One week later vehicle became disabled and had to be towed to dealership. Found out it had a broken valve spring in cylinder that GM was aware of problem. Had to have engine pulled and have all springs replaced in cylinders . Was without vehicle for 3 weeks with no cooperation from dealership to help with some type of compensation for this major inconvenience. I was told by the dealership it’s not there problem, and I would have to file a case with GM. After review by GM, they said nothing they can do. I got zero assistance from GM or the dealership. I would never return to dealership or buy another GM product again.

Excellent Visit!

Problem was identified and corrected very quickly. It was a simple reprogram of the computer and I was provided hot coffee and conversation while I waited. I always enjoy my visits to this dealership, I no longer fear the unknown wit a vehicle.

Excellent Service!

Have been having our truck serviced there since we bought and they have always been great. When the truck was hit by flying debris from another truck and had to be towed to the dealership, the service manager stayed after hours to let the tow truck in the service area and talk to us about the damage.
