Car issue unresolved

I took my car to the service dealer to resolve a rattling below the front driver side. $1,700 and one week without my car later, the issue is unresolved. I was even texted with the wrong customer's car status. Me and my still rattling car will not likely return to this service department.

My car was checked for oil burning in engine in January. I brought my car to Tony the service manager with concerns.He explained the policy would be to drive car between 800-1000 miles,top off oil then do a diagnostic testing.I’ve driven my car and been in twice driving required miles and between 2 visits my car has gone through a quart of oil.They explained this was normal and asked if I wanted to continue to bring my car back again to get checked which I replied yes.I’ve talked to several different people and they both state it’s too much oil being used and it’s not leaking anywhere.I bought this car new off the lot.I’m just trying to get this taken care of and feel I’m getting brushed off.

Sorento

I found the Sorento on the website for 7495.00 once there after being told I was approved with 500.00 down, they came out and said it was 7995.00. when I questioned this, this pompous GM came out and was nothing more than rude. Saying I could not have it at the advertised price because they had to PAY the lender to give me credit..... This GM Zac, basically told me take it or leave it, that's just the way it was. I needed the car so I bought it. I bought 2 other cars from this dealership and was completely satisfied. Now, as long as this guy is in charge I will never do business with them again. It's unfortunate that a dealership this large would let someone like that deal with people/customers. 3 cars later they have lost me for the next one.

Bait and switch

Called before heading out to agree on a price. We agreed on $14,500 from $15,900. Drove all the way to the dealership and when the salesman gave us the keys to test drive, we again asked if $14,500 is still the price. He confirmed this is still the price. As soon as he brings out some paperwork, we see the price on paper is $15,500. After asking him once again, he then explained that he can’t do 14,500. ridiculous.

Kia sportage

I have a 2017 kia sportage sx with the gdi motor. Kia knows the issue with the theta 2 motors and after trying to get mine replaced after 4 months, told me I did not qualify because I was the 2nd owner. I would NEVER recommend anyone buy a kia/hyundai!

Brought in my car for fuel gauge repair, upto date 3 months down the line, the spare part has never arrived yet I was made to pay for them to order. Nobody has ever bothered to call me, my calls to the service department have been futile. Very disappointed. Yet it's the same dealership I brought the car from.

Kia of Dayton Huber Heights Oh 45424

Hi I purchased a Kia Seltos on Saturday 7/22/23 at Kia of Dayton. I learned on Sunday evening that there was a 3000 dollar markup due to scarcity of vehicle. At no time was this mentioned during the sale. The price was listed on the window as 32,725 and the price on the document was listed at 35,725, although with a Honda Accord trade in and 5000 dollars down I did not notice the price increase. I brought this to the attention of the salesman on 7/25/23 Robert Elswick and he stated in an email that was common practice on hard to get vehicles. I visited the dealership and the General Manager Zach Frederick stated the same thing although would mention he hates that the market causes this. I would agree the dealership has the right to charge what they want but they need to be transparent. This adjusted price is above what I intended to purchase and has left me feeling distressed over the entire process. The Kia dealership was not warm when I spoke to them about this and they stated you signed the paperwork therefore it’s on you. I will no longer recommend or buy another car from this dealership. I hope this article makes more consumers aware.
