I have purchased three vehicles from Ricart (two used, one new) and I will not be going back after this experience. My husband bought a 2008 Nissan Titan. The truck itself is nice and had lower miles for the year, that isn't the issue. The salesman was not as knowledgeable as he should have been given his "18 years" of experience. My husband is military and the salesman didn't know how to handle his paperwork. First of all, we didn't get enough for our trade. He gave us some lame excuse that they had too many of those vehicles on the lot so it was less valuable even though I low-balled what KBB had shown. Then it came time to "haggle" but no haggling was done at all. He didn't come down on the price of the truck a single dollar! In order to get us to our monthly payment, they extended the terms. I asked several times what our interest rate was. The salesman never told me. I didn't find out until we were sitting in the finance office. Had I known the interest rate and terms before then, we for sure would have walked but since we didn't find out until we were committed to buying the truck, we decided to proceed. Then the finance guy informed us the truck was being titled in TN (where my husband is stationed) even though we told the salesman it would be titled in Ohio because that's our permanent residence. Then, because Ohio does electronic titles now, they couldn't get the title for our trade in. I had looked into and they needed to file a BMV form. They said they couldn't do it so they made us go to the title agency. The lady informed me they had a stack of Ricart eTitles because they do them ALL the time! After all that, we thought we were finally done. HA! When we went back in with the title, they said it didn't have my husband's suffix (IV) on the title so they couldn't use it. Had to go back to the title agency. The lady said she couldn't fix it but Ricart (where we bought the trade) had to submit the correction since they messed it up when we bought the car or they can accept it the way it's written. Fine. Drive all the way back to Ricart and they changed the title name. So we will have this issue when we get rid of the truck. Now we are about to leave and I realize my husband's old license plates are on the truck. I asked why he didn't have temp tags. Salesman says it's because we are transferring the plates right? NO! The finance guy is titling in another state! There were just so many obstacles along the way, communication issues and outright lies that we will never buy from them again. And to add insult to injury, they don't even give you a full damn tank of gas when you buy anymore! Seriously? I don't know if it went downhill once Fred retired but if they keep doing business this way, they are going to go out of business.

The selling of the car was good it was the after service. I had a situation I called my sellsman 6 times I called a business manager twice and only received one call back. Never received follow up never received a resolution nothing

I've not purchased many cars in the last few (16) years but this is definitely one of the better ones. No high pressure. He let us shop on our own after pointing us in the right direction. Which gave my husband and I a chance to talk privately to weigh our options and narrow the choices down. After we made our choice and found him again, which wasn't hard or time consuming, it was easy from there. We did have to go look for him which was fine, that meant he wasn't hovering.

Purchased a car from ricart yesterday. Our product specialist Colton Cooper was more than amazing. He met all of my picky needs, was extremely knowledgeable, more than friendly, and very honest. I had begun to dread car shopping by the time we arrived there but Colton turned me around and I left extremely happy with my new car.

They put ridiculously low prices on here and when I called to see if it was in stock, they told me "sure is, come on in and we will take care of you". When you get there(1 hour away), the vehicle has mysteriously disappeared!! :They told me it was sent to auction a few days ago(yea right). Don't believe me, just find a vehicle on here and search their site, but don't waste your time going in!!
