Caution taking your car here for service. I brought in my GTI to have the timing components serviced. I drove my car in and had to have a wrecker bring it home when they were done. They told me that it "spun a balance shaft" while on the test drive after they were done and there was nothing they could do except replace the whole motor which was around 6,000$. After finally having it looked at independently it was discovered that the balance shaft was definitely seized as well as the guides were destroyed and multiple valves were bent from their test drive. From the looks of it, the technician drove it out of time and with little to no oil in it. I fought them for a couple months over this before I gave up. The kicker, they still charged me for the service around 1,800$

Purchased used 2017 Dodge Journey, After purchase discovered the vehicle was listed by dealer as having Back up Camera, Home link, back up assist. I ask about back up camera cost before sale not knowing it was listed as original equipment, Was told $750.00 for aftermarket installation which I declined. The used car manager did not mention listing was wrong. Total cost of missing equipment was approximately $2000.00. I had back up assist installed on my own for $800.00. Dealership staff (General Manager, Used car manager and President) refuses to cover cost of parts ($600.00) for back up camera and Home Link. General Manger said not liable for listing since the pay someone to do them. His last comments was - they had typographical errors. Since I signed a WE OWE for zero I had nothing due and dealer is not obligated to make the situation right per General Manager. He did offer 300.00 as he stated a goodwill gesture for the missing $2000.00 in equipment. Declined as I thought $660 was fair. President for Kenwood Group refused to even reply to my letters. Bottom line is to check all of this dealers internet listings, window stickers to make sure you are getting everything listed before buying and sign contracts. Learned my lesson.

Had to change to another dealership

We bought our vehicle from them and the guy who sold it to us joked that he sees us all the time at the dealership. This is because the car had to be brought in so many times. They didn't fix the urea system correctly when we brought it in multiple times and once it was out of warranty, shortly later, they balked about covering it. We took it to a different dealership and they actually fixed it, saying the entire system had to be replaced but VW covered it. Today, I tried to get basic information from the Fairfield dealership's parts department and spoke with someone who was breathtakingly rude. I actually hung up on him. I should have learned my lesson about dealing with this dealership. At least before they weren't openly rude. They were just either incompetent or intentionally not fixing the work so it would go out of warranty. They also had spilled urea all over our trunk. I wondered what the white stuff all over way and then figured it out because the worst of it was where the urea goes in. I can't understand why this dealership has good ratings on Google and so on. Avoid.

I inquired about one of the cars at this dealership which was a previous loaner car. I scheduled a test drive which was easy and I was responded to extremely quickly. When I got to the dealership Landon was waiting outside for me. He was honest, insightful, and overall just one of the most wonderful sales experiences I have ever had. I was dealing with more than most potential buyers with the fact that I did not know if I wanted to buy or lease and Landon not only took his time to explain everything to me but he offered up his personal opinion and got to know me to ensure that it was a fit for me. He got me numerous payment options and was listening to what I was most comfortable with and responding accordingly. He answered every single one of my questions not to the point of a 'know it all' or offering to much information but the perfect amount so that I was informed as well as making the best decision based on that information. Talk about service, this is the place to go, if you have any opportunity to request any sales person request Landon, you will not be disappointed and he will work with you until you are the happiest you will ever be. Not only did I have the pleasure of driving away in my dream car but I had the pleasure of having Landon help me get to that point. I will never go to another dealer.

Easy place to deal with

I was looking for a car for my old daughter. We wanted a used Audi or Volkswagon. Wehn we got there they didn't have any used Audis on the lot. They called us a few days later saying they had just gotten one and we went to look at it . It was perfect! they even helped me with putting my kid on the loan to help her get credit! highly recommend you talk to the folks at Fairfield first!

Creepy place to buy a car

Went to look at purchasing a vehicle and half the time some creepy older guy kept trying to flirt with me. Funny thing about it is that's his name,Guy. I'll never buy from here. The service was very unprofessional.

I bought a Ford from a Volkswagen dealership, how awkward is that!? But I really have not too much bad to say about the place. The person selling me the car was very good at his job and not in putting you in an arm-lock kinda way...that's the kind of salesperson I was expecting but I didn't get it. The one I got was moderate and straight-up honest, when he didn't know something about the vehicle he admitted it and contacted someone in his department that did. Also this dealership works at a pretty fast pace. I put out an invite from this site that I was interested in the car Saturday night, I get a response Sunday morning and end up looking at it Monday evening. The car was in good shape and an even better price, only a few hundred bucks above book value. Granted they could have done somethings for me a little better like giving a more thorough cleaning of the vehicle or even giving me enough gas in the tank to get home! But other than those things I'd gladly go back there for another car.

Refused refund

I ordered a TDI wagon and up down $500. They would not guarantee delievery date or financing. A week later I found another vehicle. And ask for a refund. They said not way. That was two years ago and now I looking for another vehicle, Fairfield VW is the loser this time.

Sales Manager Questionable?

I drove about an hour and a half to look at used 2012. My salesman John was great. Sales Manager not so much. Was off about 5k on value of my vehicle. Granted it did get some hail damage last month. He came back and raised his offer by by $200. I told him I had an appointment with insurance company for repair. He told me not to worry about it. He could fix the hood easy and no one looks at the roof. Estimate for repair came in at $2,445. He did not come across fair and wanting to deal. It was more like take it or leave it...so I left! There are plenty of dealerships around that will compete for my business.

Well Worth the Drive

I have been trying to exit a VW lease early for 2 weeks and move into another VW lease. I have been told by mult dealers that what I was trying to do was just not possible and the price point I expected was so far below invoice no one would be able to assist. I drove 2 hours to Fairfield VW - they had all the paperwork done and we were on our way in an hour headed home in our new VW. Entire staff was friendly, professional, and all around all stars! What has made us customers for life though was how the sales rep truly cared - prior to leaving he sat in the car with my wife for 30 minutes to assure she was comfortable and understood all the new technology and features this Jetta had over her last Jetta. A+ You have a customer for life!
