Buyers Dublin Subaru - my new favorite car dealership!

My wife and I went in to just look at new Subaru's with no intention on actually buying one at that time. As we were browsing the lot, we were greeted by a very friendly salesperson, Renae Marcum. After a conversation with her, we looked around at various new (and a few used) models of Outback. She put no pressure on us at all to purchase anything, and even stayed with us answering our numerous questions, even after telling her we had no plans to buy right now. We knew at some point we wanted to upgrade our car to something larger for camping and cross-country travels. After taking home a brochure and researching the Subaru web site a bit, we decided that we did want to buy a car now. We had decided on the Outback Wilderness in Geyser blue. We contacted Renae with our decision to order a new vehicle with our desired options. Lucky for us they already had a Geyser blue ordered from Subaru that had not made it to the assembly line yet. They were able to put in a change order to get the exact options we wanted on the vehicle. A few weeks later, it showed up just a week before a scheduled 3,500 mile trip to 5 National parks. The car was delivered with a very thorough walk through of all the features and how to use them. This made our trip 1000 times better then expected. We love the car and have had no issues with it at all. Renae and Byers Subaru were extremely friendly, helpful, no pressure, and had great communication throughout the entire process. I would definitely buy from them again, and I will recommend them to all of my friends and family. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had.

I recently purchased a 2023 Subaru Outback onxy addition. It was/is perfect and amazing but the inly thing it didn’t have that I wanted was a wireless charger pad. I asked my sales person (Robert Miller) if I could have one installed and without hesitation he placed an order for the part and gave me an approx time frame when I would come in. The service team was amazing. I dropped my car off on a Wednesday night and they arranged a loaner for the night. My car was ready immediately the next morning. I don’t remember the cashiers name but she was the most lovely women and treated me and my daughter so kindly while checking us out.

Smooth Transaction

I was just browsing their website and inquire about the cx-30, got an email immediately the next day from John and set an appointment to check the unit. The car that we exactly ordered came in less than a month (compared to others that would take 2-3months of waiting). They're all professional, friendly and they have the best cafe latte coffee in the office 😀. Thank you to our car dealer John and the rest of the Byers Mazda team.

Clear, communicative, and personal

We worked with Atef to buy our used Subaru but we got engagement and professional help from everyone in the used car department. Simple things like getting the door for us, providing a folder to hold our papers or the sales manager supporting Atef as he worked with us and another buyer, helping with some of the paper work. The experience was was great, and the price was perfect!

An Unusual but Amazon Sales Experience

I have been a Byers-Mazda customer since 2012. I just traded in my 2018 Mazda 3 HB for an upgrade to a 2021 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring. Leasing this time and John Bechtel was my sales person. He is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. I always feel comfortable working with Mazda because I never feel like I'm being pushed by a sales rep or being lied to by service or being taken advantage of because I'm a woman. I appreciate their honesty, friendliness, knowledge, and transparency. I am on my third Mazda vehicle and my experience gets better each time! Thankful for my new ride and I hope I enjoy leasing this time. So far my new ride is everything I wanted and more :) Looking forward to seeing what Mazda has next for me in three years! unusually pleasant experience

I was fortunate to get a great salesperson who changed my dreaded car buying mission into a fun and exciting surprise. Thank God there is one woman sales person who is available and 'GETS IT'!! I have recommended her and Byers to several women friends. There is one thing I am NOT liking about the car and it's the 'automatic start & stop system". I'm concerned with the vibration at each start and feel it's hard on the motor. Shaking that much cannot be good in my opinion.. I know I can can turn it off on each engine START but it's a nuisance to me. I wish it could be disabled but I know it can not. This issue was even the topic of last Sunday's CAR TALK article with Ray Magliozzi printed in the Columbus dispatch so I'm not the only one who feels this way..

I just bought a 2021 Mazda CX-5 at Byers; thanks to John Bechtel, sales, and Tim Waddell, manager, it was the easiest car-buying experience ever. Their welcoming and pleasant manner each time I visited made the whole experience a breeze. John took more than an hour to patiently walk me through a host of gadgets, buttons and dials which I probably won't remember all, but I know I can call and ask for assistance anytime. I highly recommend Byers Mazda!

We recently leased a new Subaru Forrester with the help of Chad Sneed. We really felt comfortable discussing everything with Chad. He was extremely knowledgeable on a brand new car with new technology. Finalizing the deal was painless and the attention to detail we got post-sale on how to use the technology in the vehicle was impressive. We'll be back to Byers Subaru and seek out Chad for sure.

Don't let Byers Mazda Bait and Switch - Stay Away!!!

The salesman, Mike O'Brien, quoted my wife and I a price for new 2018 Mazda 6 Grand Touring Reserve. When we requested the quote in writing, Mike sent us an email that said "you must get the Service agreement in order for us to sell you the car for the price I gave you". The cost of the "service agreement" was an additional $2184! This is obviously an unethical business practice, and we strongly encourage potential customers to avoid Byers Mazda at all costs or be sorry later!!! They cannot be trusted, and we intend to advertise this on other social media as well as turn it over to the Better Business Bureau for further review!

Byers Subaru and Byers are located next to each other. I initially was looking at Subaru and wanted to check out the Mazdas. My sales associate was very helpful and supportive and ultimately I chose the Mazda. I really appreciated their low key approach to car sales and love my new car!

I test drove many cars and did a lot of research prior to purchasing my Mazda 3 Grand Touring the other day. I am a manual transmission guy, and the 3 won, hands down, against all the comparable competition. Greg Painter at Byers Mazda of Dublin was a pleasure to deal with, and made the whole process quick and painless. I am glad i chose Byers Mazda.

First NEW car!

This was going to be my first purchase of a brand new car, so i did my research and the Impreza was at the top of my list, and then I did the test drives on my top 4 cars. The Subaru was the best overall as the All wheel drive was a big factor and I loved the way it drove. The courtesy of my Dealer Joey knowing i was on the fence on what car I wanted to buy, and then in and out of when I could commit to buying, he kept up with me without being invasive or connecting with me too much. After 3 months, i finally made the decision and bought a car! 2017 Subaru Impreza Sport! I love it so much! I think the long wait made it that much sweeter reward when I finally got to drive it home! Buying a car is stressful and Joey made it much less stressful, and if he didn't know the answer to a question, he would find it out for us. I knew Subaru was the winner but Joey made me feel like a winner! Thanks Joey and Sage!

Last Summer my air condition stopped working- on my cx-7 2012. I went there and talked to Paul ant Ken- the managers there. They were very rood. I bought my car there- but never again.
