exceeded my expectations

Kevin went over everything in detail about our mazda cx9. We would never have known what this car was capable of without him. He was very patient in explaining how to use each feature and showed us where to find what he was talking about in the manual for future reference. Everyone at the dealership was so welcoming. It was a fantastic experience

Awesome Out Of State Buying Experience

Buying a car from Kevin was an absolutely smooth and worry-free experience; from the initial call all the way through leaving the lot with the vehicle. Any time I needed to call Kevin to ask for vehicle and/or financing info he picked up the phone immediately. Upon arrival, the entire transaction flowed exactly as planned which is super important when driving 200 miles out of state to purchase a 13 year old vehicle. The vehicle was exactly as described, including all minor problems and deficiencies communicated to me by Kevin over the phone. There were no surprises upon arrival besides how awesome the Mazda of Bedford team was to work with. Ray was a pleasure to work with as well in finance. He had all of the paperwork completed and ready for me to sign upon arrival. We had the sales contract reviewed and completed in under 15 minutes. Many thanks to Kevin and Ray!!! Mazda of Bedford will be the first dealer I shop at when I'm ready to purchase another vehicle!

Great Experience

I purchased honda CR-V 2013 Model. I scheduled an appointment for seeing the car and the people in the dealership were friendly and made the deal a smooth one. The car is great and I got all that was promised during the purchase. No hidden charges/issues. Highly recommend the dealership.

Ted and Scott were most accommodating. This was my first visit to Mazda of Bedford and they made sure that my wife and I were totally comfortable with the "shopping" experience. We have not made a purchase yet, but will make every effort to deal with MOB when we do.

Great Buying Experience

This was my first vehicle purchased at Mazda of Bedford and it was a great experience. Our salesman was Phil Cohen and he was great. He was extremely knowledgeable about the product and was very patient and detailed when asking all of our questions. I would highly recommend this dealership and working with Phil if you are interested in buying a new vehicle!

Excellent First Time Buyer Experience - Dad Report

I stopped in at the tail end of my daughter's sales interaction with Edward Ross. Dads are always a little protective. No worries here. Edward focused on understanding auto needs and answered all questions. No pressure and no sales pitches - just a desire to present the best offer and let customer evaluate. They offered a good sales price on the CX3 and a fair trade-in appraisal that was at the high end of the Blue Book range without requiring back and forth to get to a satisfactory end point. Mazda of Bedford made my daughter's first time car buying experience a good one. Thanks. -Dad

Truly Outstanding

I originally liked a Mazda from Montrose Mazda in Cleveland, but didn't feel very welcome and I was only treated as a number. I decided to try out Mazda of Bedford and I was immediately welcomed by Scott, the sales manager, and Kevin, a client advisor. They made me feel relaxed and comfortable as I looked around the lot. Kevin took the time to listen to me and find exactly what I wanted. My car was planned to be delivered to the dealership within the next few days and then it turned out that it had come in earlier that morning and I could take it home that same day! I originally went in for a test drive and to look around, but they made everything so simple that I ended up walking away with a new car. Entire process from sales to finance was quick and easy. I couldn't ask for anything better! Great customer service is extremely important to me and that is why Mazda of Bedford will have my business for a long time! There is no reason to go anywhere else. Thank you Kevin, Scott, and Shannon for making my car buying experience truly outstanding!

Unethical Sales Practices

I met with the sales rep with a friend and we were both looking to purchase new vehicles. We were told by the sales rep that we would need to give a deposit so they could order the vehicles that we wanted. The sales rep Tyler gave us a form to fill out and ran our credit cards. Before we agreed to do this he assured us that if anything could not go through with the deal that this money would be given back to us no questions asked. I was nervous doing this because to get the vehicle I still needed my father to co-sign with me to get the financing along with getting title of my current vehicle signed over from my ex-wife for a trade in. He assured me that if anything happened with the financing or anything else preventing the sale of the vehicle the money would be returned. Well now that I can no longer get the title transferred for the trade in or get my father to co-sign due the price of the vehicle payments the rep Tyler and the dealership have gone back on their word. They have told me they are keeping my deposit and too bad. I have spoken to Tyler a few times and begged for them to do the ethical thing in this matter and he has even agreed that this would be the right and appropriate thing to do but says he cannot do this because the sales manager will not allow him to. I have also spoken to the sales manager Scott Newman on a few occasions and he has told me he will not give me my deposit back either and that he is keeping it. They have also threatened to keep my friends deposit and are either doing that or increasing her pricing since we are both no longer buying vehicles from them. That seems very shady and unethical to me. Either keep her pricing the same or give her her deposit back. I am hoping this dealership does the right thing and gives me my money back. My hands are tied, I cannot get financing but they don't seem to care and are going to keep my money anyways. Not good customer service or sales practices

Excellent experience

After a negative experience at another dealership, I was dreading going into Mazda of Bedford, especially because I rely heavily on reviews for any service and I read some less than favorable reviews. However, I need not have worried. Mike Marzak gave me an out-the-door price via e-mail. When I came to the dealership, we went on a pleasant test drive. The car was exactly as described. When it came time to work out the financing, the price was exactly what Mike had told me over e-mail. They gave me KBB value for my trade, and got a financing rate better than I thought possible through my bank. Just an excellent experience all the way around! I would highly recommend Mazda of Bedford to anyone. I believe the negative reviews are from people who don't take the time to educate themselves about the vehicle they're buying or the car-buying process in general.

Wonderful Relief

Today was our first visit to this dealership. We arrived apprehensive and on guard because of a horrible past experience elsewhere. We had contacted Mazda of Bedford and set up an appointment to see a specific vehicle. Jon Chaney was prompt and helpful in setting that up for us. We even called the night prior because the internet price had gone up by $770! Shannon Clark assured us that it was simply an error and they would honor the original price. What a wonderful relief it was to meet and work with honest people who respected us! Never once did anyone attempt to sell us a different vehicle. They were true to their word, honored the original price and honored a $200 off coupon we printed from the Bedford Automile website! Craig Toddy was a real gentleman and was thorough in his explanations and genuine in his care of our family. Ray in finance did a great job summarizing all of thr lengthy paperwork and answered every question. We're so happy with our purchase and thank God for each kind and honest person we met at this dealership!

Don't Buy a Used Vehicle From

Beware of Vehicle Inspection, Don't Trust! Went a looked at one of their used plow trucks which has 26k miles on the lot that has been for sale for 25 day since inspection per internet salesmen. I did drive 80 mile to view this once talked to the internet salesman which told me there was nothing wrong with it and in great condition and all serviced. During the viewing I noticed many issues for bad manifold, no tail lights, head lights not working, the hydraulic spinner didn't work, power steering issue these were some of the major issues I found. Please note I am not a Mechanic. We did discuss them fixing the issues and adding a hitch to the truck and I would give them list price and they agreed. They did keep me informed on the progress of the repairs and when they were done they want me to come back to view the truck and sign the purchase agreement. After another 80 hike I get there to discover there is a hydraulic oil puddle under the truck. During the discussion the sales man (Mike) informs me that they will not be doing the hitch because repairs were more than they expected. Please note they told me I could buy it as is since repair would only be $1300. Bottom of the line they backed out of our agreement basically because they never inspected there vehicle before and my time and travel was not enough for them to keep their word.

Very Disappointed

This dealership, while it has good reviews, it also has bad reviews. Unfortunately I must give it a bad review. I will tell you that I did buy a car from this dealership and I love the car I bought. The problem was more with the customer service after I left with my vehicle. Let the buyer beware. If you are buying a used car from this dealership make sure you go over the car in detail. Here is my story.... I went to this dealership in February because they advertised a vehicle I wanted... a 2012 Jeep wrangler. The car was everything I was looking for so I took it for a test drive and liked what I saw. The few defects I found were dismissed by the salesman as normal used car issues and I bought it, and also bought the car. Then about a week later when I went to pick up the vehicle, I saw a big chip on the hood about a quarter inch in diameter. I hadn't seen that when I took the test drive and I mentioned it to the salesman. He again dismissed it as a normal used car issue and that they didn't want to try and fix it because the color could be mismatched. Again I bought it. However, as I drove away I noticed a few small chips on the windshield. As it was raining and dark outside and it was outside my field of vision, I didn't think much about it until the next day when the sun was shining and I noticed that one of the chips was actually a small crack. I called the dealership and was told to stop by and they would look at it. So the next day, I live over 60 miles away, I stopped by and talked to the used car manager who said "no problem, we'll take care of it". I then had to wait another week until the "windshield" guy was there and he looked at it and put some glue on it and said it was ok. Now mind you that it still has about a half inch spider crack and is very annoying on a sunny day. So I called the manager again and he basically said they would not do anything more and I was lucky to get the deal I got. I thought, "what an attitude". Not happy with his response I tried to get in touch with the General Manager who to this day has refused to get back to me. I have to assume that he doesn't care anymore then his salesman and managers do. I will now take care of this issue myself and say good riddance to this dealership. They seem to take no responsibility for any issue you might have and I am sure they were well aware of this before I drove off and they failed to disclose it to me. Any place that is that deceitful doesn't deserve my repeat business or a good recommendation from me. So the moral of this story is....... don't buy a used car from this dealership........ If you do be very....very ....careful... good luck!

Stay away from this place

My wife and I purchased a certified pre-owned Mazda from this dealer about a month ago. While everything in the purchasing process went smoothly, dealing with Mazda of Bedford after the sale has been a nightmare. After getting the car home, we discovered that the car was missing the driver's side front floor mat-an item that is clearly listed as required on the Mazda Certified Pre-Owned inspection checklist. Since we had driven 2+ hours from out of town to purchase this car, I called our sales rep and asked to have the mat mailed to us. He agreed. When I didn't receive anything for over two weeks, I called back, and after a couple of unreturned voicemails, I finally managed to reach our sales rep again. It turns out that he had mailed the mat to the wrong unit in our apartment complex, having failed to confirm my address with me before mailing or check his records against the address listed on the purchasing paperwork. I've checked with the residents of the apartment where the mat was mistakenly sent three times now, and they claim they haven't received anything. Instead of admitting his error and offering to make this right, our sales rep was unapologetic and implied he couldn't do anything until the Mazda of Bedford received the mistakenly-mailed mat back. When I asked for them to just mail a mat to the correct address this time, they said they couldn't do so until a manager signed off on it. After two more days of being given the "just waiting for the manager" runaround, I've given up all hope of ever getting the mat that was supposed to be in the car. Throughout this entire process, every contact with our sales rep, Thunder, has been very disappointing. While he has been nothing but courteous to me, out of the several times he said he would call me back "in 5 minutes" or "on Monday", not once have I actually received a call. Out of the several voicemails I've left him, not one has been returned. I never got the sense anyone at the dealership was actually working in good faith to resolve this situation-one that is their mistake on every level. I strongly recommend that you stay away from Mazda of Bedford and Thunder. While they may seem nice at first, as soon as you sign your name on the dotted line, this is how you'll be treated.

Bying a car (or 6 cars in my case) from theese folks was trully an exceptional experience.Three Partners, One in sales, one running the office and the third taking care of the service department. Talk about top notch service and a knowledgable staff. Going and dealing with another dealership does not even enter my mind

Bad people

i had the worst car-shopping experience right here! They have terrible customer service, the salesperson was rude and dishonest, basically this is a car dealership where the sales guys are trained to use sleazy tactics to cheat their customers. I went in there to inquire about a used car, and they wanted me to put a deposit when I haven't even make any deals with them. This tactic is used by dealers like them to control their customers, just so the customer will buy the car TODAY. Do not fall for it. There are honest car salesman out there. Just dont go to this one.

Mazda of Bedford changed my view of a car dealership forever

I have been looking for a new car for several months and got the same pushy treatment at every dealership I came across. My Husband wanted to check out the Mazda CX-9 so we went to our local dealership in Medina County. We did not click with the salesperson or sales manager there so we decided to go to the Bedford Automile to look at the CX-9 and a few other cars. We entered Mazda of Bedford on a Saturday morning and they were very busy. You could tell right away the atmosphere was different here. It didn't have the same stress level as some of the other dealerships we'd been to. People seemed happy and the employees were very pleasant. Every person that walked by us greeted us with a hello and offered a cup of coffee (at every other dealership we were offered a car). It was so laid back. After meeting with our salesman, he gave us a detailed 25-minute presentation of the CX-9 and showed all of the cars features (even simple features that made a big impact on us). He then had a beautiful CX-9 sitting outside in front of the store for us to drive. We drove the car on both the highway and city roads to get a good feel of it. After we got back to the dealership we took a short tour of the dealership and service department and were given a brief history of the store. Normally I would not care about the history but the story included a few facts that stood out for me (family owned and operated, 40 years of business, and one of the owners is a master Mazda mechanic). This let us know we where dealing with real people and not some fly-by-night or chain organization. It was now time for the dreaded negotiation - wrong! It was such a low pressure and painless process. The salesman was very upfront with cost, invoice, profit, markup everything. We settled on a fair price and it was over before we knew it (not what we were expecting). I am definitely going to recommend Mazda of Bedford. This is what buying a car should be like. I can't believe we didn't try this 40 years ago. Please, if you take anything from this review take this: you don't have to suffer when buying a vehicle, there is a better way and that's Mazda of Bedford! --Robin
