Do not service your car here.

Was given wrong oil and multi point inspection was not done. Service manager refuses to call me and is never available. Techs are careless and service manager clearly allows it to happen. Nice big dealership with poor service department, I am sure many cars have been damaged by them. Stay away

Horrendous Service Dept.

Purchased a 2015 Hyundai Azera out of state with 84 miles on it. At 12,000 miles I was driving 35 mph on a flat surface and the transmission made a loud noise and the car would not move. I had it towed to Marhofer of Green knowing that it was still under the 2nd owner warranty. The day after it arrived there I had to call for the diagnosis. The assistant service manager Tyler confirmed the problem was the side gear and the drive axle and that Hyundai warranty would provide a new side gear and drive axle. I asked "what could have caused this and he said "it happens, but you are under warranty." He said he would order the parts and the car should be ready within 3 days. The day after the initial conversation Tyler called me and said " the service tech had obtained the parts and after opening the transmission he discovered there was additional damage inside and the transmission seal does not look original." Tyler said he would need to call Hyundai for an additional authorization. The next day Tyler called me and said "the question about the seal doesn't matter, as we have discovered damage on the outside of your transmission and Hyundai warranty will not cover this." I then called Hyundai USA to open a case investigation, as to all the different stories from the dealership. The following day Hyundai USA called me and said they would not cover warranty work due to the damage described by the dealership. I went into the dealership on Sat., Aug. 12 and asked for the service manager and was told Josh was off. I asked when he would be in and was told by Tyler not until Monday. I then asked in utter amazement how this could happen? I was only driving the car 35 mph and did no damage to the car. At this point Tyler started pounding into his computer and after 10 minutes handed me a quote of $8753.97. I clarified that Josh would be in after 8 am on Monday and he confirmed. On Monday morning I sent Ron Marhofer an email and he promptly replied saying I would get a call back that afternoon. As promised, Josh called that afternoon and said he would review the situation and talk with Hyundai USA. He called the following day indicating that he was still working with Hyundai USA to resolve the problem. The next day he called and said that Hyundai USA would not honor the warranty because of the damage. He then questioned whether the bolts holding the transmission shield in place were original. I reiterated that only I have driven the car since I purchased it with 84 miles on it and I have never driven over anything to cause damage to the transmission case nor has the transmission ever acted improperly. He then gave me a revised estimate of $6196.65. The next morning I arranged to have the car towed from Marhofer because at this point I just do not trust them. I had the car repaired at a transmission shop and they are also shaking their head as to what happened to this transmission at only 12,000 miles. The drive axle gears are stripped and the support bracket has one of the 4 mounting holes broken away. No one can understand why this is not under warranty. My car's undercarriage shows no damage, other than the broken bolt from the support bracket, evidently nicking the transmission case and a wheel rim. I would be very cautious going to Marhofer of Green and also Hyundai!

Great Experience

I had a great experience at the dealership. They had a great selection of vehicles, and Mike Bell was a pleasure to work with. I believe he worked hard to get me a good price on my Veloster. The transition from my previous lease into the new lease was smooth, and the entire staff was very friendly and warm.

I recently purchased a 2016 Santa Fe at RON Marhofer Hyundai, Green. This was my third vehicle I have purchased from Ron Marhofer Hyundai of Green. I have worked with Jeremy Marhofer General Manager and Mike Bell sales associate for all three of my new vehicles and was treated with utmost kindness and respect.I have had both of my pevious cars serviced in their service department as well with my new purchase. I have always recieved top quaility work in a kindly and professional manner. I would never go anywhere else to purchase or service my cars Greatservice job as always

We really appreciated having the same sales person as we did 8 years ago. Mike knew his stock, listened to what what we needed was spot on the right price range and we got an incredible car for the money. We feel we got the right fit for us. We felt comfortable with Mike and knew he would take care of our requirements.

Horrible online sales

Found car I wanted online and emailed about price and got a quote that I was willing to pay. Called and talked to Katie Tucker about coming in and putting money down to hold the car for a day till I could get to my credit union to have my finance papers signed. I was told they don't hold used cars and since this was the only white one in the area i took time off work at lunch to run to get my papers finalized and faxed to the dealer ship. A short time later i received a call stating that that car was sold the night before. they told me they had a a different color with 10k more miles for the same price, i told them no thanks. I looked online again and found another car with a color that I was willing to accept that had 2k less miles then the white one for $400 more. I called and asked them to knock the $400 off and I would take that car. I was told they couldn't and I complained about my wasted time and she said she would talk to her manager. I get a call back a short time later that they didn't have the car yet and it was in another state. I asked how come there are pictures and it's for sale on their website? I was told they didn't expect it to sell that quick and hopefully it would be in in 3 to 4 days. I felt like this place didn't want to sell me a car and we very unorganized. I would recommend going to Great Lakes Hyundia they have a way better sales approach.

Best Car Buying Experience Ever!

After finally deciding on purchasing a Hyundai Sonata, I researched prices online and no one came close to comparing to the deal offered by Marhofer. They had the exact car I was looking for in stock (their inventory is unbelieveable!) Chris D. was my sales rep. I was treated with the utmost respect and he was extremely upfront with pricing. At no time did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. Marhofer's sales reps work on salary not commission so they are focused on getting you the car you want not the car they want to sell you! I knew what I wanted and at no time did my sales rep try to talk me into something else. They made a deal that worked for me and was on the low end of my payment budget! After I purchased the car, he took the time to explain many of the features and set up my bluetooth and bluelink. I cannot say enough about my experience at Marhofer Hyundai. I love my new Sonata and when it comes time to buy again I will be a returning customer. I highly recommend this dealer.

Superb experience at Marhofer - Hyundai of Green

Discouraged with some of the responses I had received via email (using Edmunds) and walking out of several Cleveland auto dealerships, I decided to contact Ron Marhofer of Green (after researching online consumer reviews). I was guarded in my approach, asked many questions and weighed the responses and the manner in which they were given carefully. My questions and concerns were answered with patience, grace and integrity. I did not feel pressured in any way and was pleasantly surprised by the good customer service I received. Mike Richards, the used car manager, was very personable and especially gracious in his efforts to "earn my business" as promised. Brian A. was pleasant & attentive, and Heather was lovely as she clearly & patiently explained the myriad of paperwork involved. I highly recommend this dealership. It was truly a refreshing car buying experience and worth the drive, wherever one may live.

poor math skills not in my favor

The price was 11,900 online with tax/title and all 12k but when I looked at the first form it seemed correct. I signed. I signed the next but I didn't look at the starting price this time only the final price. When I went to pay for car I noticed that the starting price was 10990 this time. My thinking is that they raised the price to match to final price of 12k. I asked about it and john came back saying it was $10990. I was half asleep and I had all ready signed for the final price at 12k. Heidi the paper work person started getting moody when saw the error. Well I had signed already and I traded in my 07 uplander lemon for more than I thought it was worth. it worked out ok in the end. Used car people have to feed there families too. Nice smiles and good attitudes don't improve math skills. God bless
