Awesome Experience

Tim D was great to work with as well as the sales manager. I will definitely never buy a vehicle from anywhere but Pinehurst Toyota! I am loving my 2014 Corolla! Its an amazing car and I got a really great deal on it!

GREAT DEAL ON A GREAT CAR... HASSLE-FREE

Negotiating for a new car at some other dealerships can be about as much fun as a root canal. Pinehurst Toyota is a refreshing exception. I got an internet deal that was real...and really good. The process was smooth and professional, throughout. It concluded in delivery of the exact 2014.5 Toyota Camry XLE Hybrid that I'd specified. Most of my interaction was with Charlie Mitts (Internet) and Robbie P (Sales), both a distinct pleasure to work with, but that description applies to everyone I met at Pinehurst Toyota. Of course a great deal is nothing unless the car is a winner. Consumer Reports gave the Camry Hybrid the highest marks of any car in its class, and it's easy to see why. The car is awesome and has exceeded all my (high) expectations. As an engineer-geek-pilot who worked in aerospace I feel like wearing a Captain's hat when behind the wheel. The icing on the cake is that I'll be saving over $1000 each year on gas (though it has lots of zoom), giving the Hybrid a lower net cost of ownership. My kind of car, my kind of dealership.

Wanted a camery ...Got a corolla :( Got scammed

I went in Already Approved for 20,000.00 from Toyota, I wanted a Camry and they insisted that I got the corolla, I didn't even get a choice in color for the corolla. They just took it upon their selves to do all the paper work on the car they wanted to give me. I had 2000.00 down as well ...I was supposed to get double my down payment (up to 1000.00) because of the flyer I received in the mail from them, And On top of that they added in a Platinum Warranty in to my financing after I told them I didn't want any extra warranties! The car was brand new, It didn't need any warranties, Toyota of Sanford was offering a 2014 Camry for 17,995.00 I should have went their, I also have a 15% interest rate! Which should have been 13%-14% from what I knew. Took All day waiting (at least 6 hours) and then I wasn't informed about the features of the car. I don't even know what the button in the glove box is for? Oh also they said that after I pay 471.00 a month for this car for a YEAR ...Then next march I can come back and get any car on the lot I want at the advertized interest rate....(We'll See) Oh I called about the extra warranty and they stated that since they lost so much money on the corolla that they had to add it in to show their manager that they didn't lose much on the deal!

I recently purchased a 2014 Corolla from Pinehurst Toyota. I filled out my credit application online and it was super easy. Tim D was my salesperson, and he was great to work with! He explained everything about the entire experience, from the purchasing process to every single feature of my new car. I love Pinehurst Toyota and will buy my next car from them for sure!

Pinehurst Toyota Hassle Free

I just purchased a Toyota Prius and it was a great experience. In the past my husband always did all the negotiating. This time he was out of town and I used a certificate from True Car.com to get the very best deal on my new car. Pinehurst Toyota honored that price. They were very nice to work with and I had a great experience, it was empowering to know I could do this myself!!

Terrible Buying Experience at Pinehurst Toyota

I went to Pinehurst Toyota to trade for a new Solara convertible. My current car had a payoff which I explained to them. We negotiated for what I thought was a very good deal. I asked them twice if they were sure that this deal was correct. They said that this was an "out the door" deal. We signed all of the papers and I took the new car home. That evening they called to say that the payoff on my trade-in had not been included in the deal. They said that I would have to bring the car back and we would have to talk. I consulted with my attorney who advised that even though they had made the error, I would have to take the car back and negotiate again. He suggested that the dealer and I split the payoff since they made such a big mistake. The dealer refused to do this. The salesman told me twice that he was a Christian and that I shoud do the right thing. The sales manager said that it was really my fault and that I should have noticed that the payoff was not included in the paperwork. I never saw it because I kept looking at the total number circled each time that an offer was brought back to me from the sales manager's office. I gave them the car back and returned home with my trade-in. Later, the dealer called and left a message saying that I could have any car on his lot with all profit margins removed from the purchase price and he would also give me three years of free maintenance. I returned the call and left messages three times. I have never heard from them. Next time I will try to be more careful and read all of the paper work even though some of it can be difficult to understand. I will say that it is amazing to me that the salesman, sales manager, finance manager, and dealer all missed the payoff on all of the paper work.
