Great team effort

Best buying experience I've had. Followed car for four or five weeks online. Then there Team took about 20 minutes to do the deal etc. Car is great. They took 80 pictures so you could see everything. Plus they Delivered it. Couldn't ask for anything better.

After 1 week of ownership

Not to bad of experience but after checking out truck on service lift noticed that under belly pan was missing completely, also cross over pipe dented. I am beginning to wonder if this was really checked over before putting on lot for sale

Service is absolutely terrible, they really don’t care about the individual. I had a flight from Wisconsin to Charlotte that landed at 10:20. My sales person knew this and still I waited at the airport for over an hour and a half for them to pick me up. I had to drive back to Wisconsin and because of the delay I did not get back till 3 AM..

We discovered the perfect car on AutoTrader roughly 300 miles away at Cloninger Ford. We emailed on it and started up a back-and-forth conversation with Tiffany. Let me just start by saying that Tiffany is so thoughtful, accommodating, and incredibly personable. She obviously goes above and beyond for her customers and was determined to get us that perfect car. She answered every question we had in a timely and friendly manner. If she wasn’t able to get back to us for whatever reason, she made sure someone else in the office contacted us on her behalf to provide the information we needed. We explained the difficulty of finding time to get to the dealership due to the long drive and having to find someone to watch our dogs since it would be an all day event. Tiffany worked with the ‘yes-no-maybe’ of our schedule and even suggested we bring our dogs with us if it would be easier! And finally we were able to set a time to drive out, dogs in tow! But the extent of our happiness with this dealership doesn’t end with her – upon arriving in our older car we were looking to trade in, we were greeted by numerous smiling faces. Remi came out to greet us right away and set off to get that perfect car pulled around so we could have a look. Every single person we encountered at the dealership were not only enchanted by our dogs, but they were all so friendly and struck up conversations with us while we waited. Once the car pulled up we were greeted by Jack, who is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He knew the answer to all of our questions, showed us a bunch of neat features of the car, and made fun, relatable small talk with us while we completed paperwork. Jack also helped us out with our trade-in, our insurance (since we use the same company for insurance he was also very knowledgeable about that!), made sure our new car was blasting the AC for our dogs, hooked up our Bluetooth, and made a superb lunch spot recommendation prior to us driving off. About 2 hours in to our drive back home, we realized we had forgotten something at the dealership – I called him up and he assured me it was no issue and he’d mail it to me so we didn’t have to turn around. We are seriously, SERIOUSLY impressed by this dealership – their customer service is top notch and they obviously have a great team who take pride in their job. Would 100% recommend.

oil and filter change

You always do a great job on any work I have done there. But be very careful when they say you need other work done. They told me I needed my brakes changed and rotors turned within 200 miles. I looked at them when I at home and they still had 3/4 of pad left and rotors looked great. I don't appreciate them suggesting work I don't need. I am one that is careful and don't jump to their suggestion. If this continues I will be forced to go somewhere else. I do caution others when I tell them about you.

Exceptional Auto Repair

Specifically, Shane in Service went far above and beyond my expectations in replacing the battery, alternator and drive belt in the Mustang I bout there at Cloninger for my daughter. The extended warranty company with whom I had coverage for this vehicle was not very cooperative and true to their many negative reviews with BBB, also tried to avoid covering the repair for this vehicle. Shane was insistent, straightforward and informative during the two-day ordeal, working past closing so that the vehicle could be obtained at a much later time that evening. This type service has been my typical experience with the many times I have used Cloninger Ford.

Shane and the service department was very helpful and knowledgeable about why my car's check engine light came on. It turned out that the Transmission Control Module was defective. Luckily, Shane told me that it was covered under an extended policy. My car was fixed on the same day.

Keeping the old girl running

I bring my 2006 Escape to Cloninger for all its service and repairs. Bought it used from them in 2008 with 30,000 miles. It now is pushing 190,000 and I hope to go well past 250,000.

Waste of time

Cloninger has forgotten, or maybe never knew, how to take care of customers. After driving over an hour to buy a specific vehicle they had on their lot they wouldn't even quote us a price. They demanded that we test drive the vehicle before they would talk about pricing. I didn't need to test drive the vehicle as it was brand new and I already knew I wanted it. Being short on time, I just wanted to start the negotiation and buy a Expedition Limited. The Cloninger salesperson and manager watched us leave as we went twenty minutes away and bought a new vehicle. This time from a dealer that was understood my desire to buy a vehicle but do it as quickly as possible. Cloninger clearly just wants to do business through their own predetermined process and have no flexibility for their customer's wants or needs.
