onI recently purchased a used truck from Cadillac of South Charlotte. Sure, the staff are very friendly and accommodating - all car salesmen are. After purchasing the vehicle with zero negotiation offered (apparently it's their 'policy'), I drove my truck off the lot. A few miles down the road the front headlight FALLS OUT and slams against my hood. I pull over on the interstate, remove it and go back to the dealership. They were accommodating but merely glued the headlight back in, leaving the actual repair to me later when I have to change the headlight. FOUR DAYS after driving my truck off the lot I get a check engine light. MAP Sensor is faulty and random misfires in the spark plugs. $300 fix within four days of having the vehicle. Called Cadillac of South Charlotte and, you guessed it, they told me "the light wasn't on here." It's easy to reset the computer and have the light come on later, which is what myself and my mechanic believe happened. It's too soon after purchase for it to be a coincidence. Now I know why they wouldn't do a 30 day warranty. Friendly guys at this place, but clearly peddling used cars that will fall apart once off the lot. This was after them swearing up and down that nothing was wrong with it. Not impressed.

Great Buying experience

onIn my 60 years of driving, this has been one of the best, if not the best, buying experiences that I have had. Joe Tomasello was friendly, very helpful and patient. The management folks that I came in contact with were great. I have used this dealership's service department for the better part of the last six years and have never had a complaint. We are now enjoying our new 2017 XT5 and loving it.

What A Team

onMy experience buying a second Cadillac from Cadillac of South Charlotte was great. Thanks to Mr. Ed Portello, my salesman during my first purchase, who was very patient, courteous and professional from beginning to end. I had the car that I wanted (interior and exterior color), and the right features. When a situation occurred during my second purchase, manager Steven Bell took care of it ASAP. The level of professionalism from Mr. Steven Bell at Cadillac of South Charlotte, was very apparent to me when I first met with him. Mr. Bell and Mr. Portello most certainly has the right approaches to selling a car: patience, courtesy, and knowledge. The customer comes first period. Mr. Bell knows how to run a business. He handled the finance very professional during the entire transaction toward the purchase of my vehicle. I would like to congratulate the team at the dealership for offering me a great car-buying experience. onespecially Beware of the seemingly trustworthy salesmen. The speak one thing and then develop amnesia. This was the worst car buying experience. I felt violated after the experience and upon reflection realized the role each individual played in the overall scheme. 12 point inspection means nothing because they ignore the major problems they know about the vehicle. As long as they can say the car passes their inspection I guess it helps them sleep at night.

Escalade ESV Purchase

onI am a regular business guy with a lot of kids and need a large SUV like only the Americans make. I have had all the imports and their outstanding customer experiences. Cadillac of South Charlotte blew them away. I have never had a more pleasant purchase experience. Seamless, professional with technology to blow you away. If the service is half the sales experience, I'll be a happy guy.

onHorrible impression of the sales team at this dealership. Didn't seem very interested in the customer or building a long term relationship. Highly recommend that anyone reading this review shop elsewhere. Under no circumstance will I ever shop here again.

Rip Off

onSo I was shopping for a used car, and I don't have the best credit, so they found me a loan, but it came with a dealer fee. Now what the dealer has the option of doing is declining it or paying it. They are not allowed to add it to the price of the car. Well these guys did, and came up with a silly lie saying the loan would only get approved if we raised the price of the car which made no sense at all. So I contacted my bank, the bank the loan was going through, the Better Business Bureau, and The State Attorney General and each said the same thing. So I'm filing a report/complaint against this dealership. The sales people were awesome, but the process was terrible and I really felt terrible about myself after it, because why would you want to rip someone off like that?

Buyer beware

onWhen shopping for a new suv I was very clear that I needed something problem free and reliable to transport my children and dogs. The sales team reassured me that I was buying one of the best vehicles, best service and products on the road. I understand that bad cars or lemons cannot be detected prior to purchase. After the fact however, step up and make thing right. Not the product r service I was expecting.
