I walked in anxiously thinking about all the pressures of buying a new car. However, that was not the case. Immediately I was spoken to and given direction of who to speak with. TJ listened to all of my requests and concerns and took the time to show me all my options. I’m grateful for his patience and assertiveness to find what I wanted. The team is great all around! The majority of my interactions was with Crystal and TJ, very knowledgeable, patient folks that will work with you to get the vehicle you need not the one they need to sale. Finance team was outstanding to work with. I am now building my growing small business some credit thanks to their willingness to work with even the smallest of folks.

After traveling to two other Ford dealerships, I should have made Capital Ford Hillsborough my 1st stop. The entire staff was SUPER friendly and made ordering my 1st mustang easy. I will HIGHLY recommend, that if your looking to purchase a FORD, let your 1st stop be in Hillsborough! BIG thanks to my salesman TJ... I LOVE my new MUSTANG!!

Not Really Appreciative

I drive a good two hours to get to the place and the salesman still didn't treat me like I was a serious buyer. The vehicle had minor damage that he failed to mention over the phone and once I pointed it out and asked about it being repaired he said I'd have to be in the process of actually purchasing before they would consider it. I had my bank send them a check for the full amount of the vehicle and still had to ask about getting the repairs done. Still not being treated like a serious buyer, I wasn't offered a keychain or coffee mug or anything other than a bottled water. I had to ask about an extended warranty also because it wasn't offered either. After purchasing the vehicle and the warranty I still didn't get treated like a valued customer. No keychain no coffee mug no free oil changes and seriously my bank sent a check over for 44k and I paid 3k so you're telling me your establishment made that kind of money in one day off one person and you don't even offer anything! Not really appreciative! One of the first things I asked about once the out the door price was explained was about negotiating the price, as you can guess, still being treated like I wasn't a serious buyer. The answer was a firm NO, to my surprise after I finally got home with the vehicle I got an alert a few days later and the price actually dropped by two hundred dollars. I'm telling you this place didn't treat my business as if it needed it and further more like it wanted it. I simply followed through with the purchase because for the year and mileage and type of vehicle, it was the best deal around however if anyone would have gotten close to the price they had it at, I would've walked away. If I didn't have to drive so far to get there I would've walked away. Am I happy with my purchase? YES! Just feel like if you spend 47k with anyone they should treat you like you just spent 47k with them.

I have to say that i have purchased many vehicles over my lifetime and never enjoyed the process as it is stressful. However, i must say that my purchase today at Capital Ford of Hillsborough was actually the best buying experience i have ever encountered. The staff (Joel Hyder & Rick Johnson) listened to me and worked to see if they could meet my needs and told me if i would come see them they would make it worth my drive. I drove from Roanoke, Va., and they did everything they could do, to not only help me but also to make my buying experience a pleasurable experience. If you are thinking about buying a vehicle don't hesitate to call the staff at Capital Ford in Hillsborough. I called late on Saturday evening and got a call back right away. This was very helpful because I had been out of town all weekend and not had a chance to look for a car. The salesman and everyone else was very nice and met all my needs for a car. I would definitely recommend Capital Ford, especially since I live in Hillsborough, NC

We dropped in just for a test drive. The whole floor made us feel welcome, whether we were going to buy or not. Our salesperson was very knowledgeable about the vehicle we wanted (Fusion hybrid) and didn't hurry or pressure us at all. We liked the car, so we decided to buy. There was a bit of dickering but I never felt at all like I was having my arm twisted. I am very pleased with the car and the dealership we bought it from.

This was undoubtedly the best experience we have ever had in the purchase of a car. I was torn between two different makes of vehicles and my final decision was totally because of these three gentlemen. Capital Ford has been top notch from beginning to signing on the dotted line. and..... I love my Ford Explorer!!
