Excellent buying experience!

Superior customer care to ensure a happy customer! Kyle was excellent in preparing my sale and paperwork and Aaron was superior in his service with helping me find the perfect Highlander, even though it took me three days and TWO Highlanders to seal the deal! I am a very happy First time Toyota customer and with service like these two gave, I’ll for sure be back!

Traveling through town and needed help

The service department was so helpful when we were in town overnight. One of the tire pressure sensors went bad and they quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it for us mid trip.

I have a 2012 Toyota Camry which I purchased new from Hendricks and now have 98,000 trouble free miles on it. I have always done servicing when due and again always with Toyota of Concord. The vast majority of the servicing has been handled by Chris Garzone and he has always insured it was flawless. This is the first time I have sent in a review, but after 98,000 miles, Chris certainly deserves my recognition for job well done.

#1 Service Writer

I have been bringing my 2019 Camry to Hendrick Service Center since I got it and I always have a great experience. Brad is always so nice and friendly and explains everything well. I usually drop off on my way to work and they are fast getting to me and update me through out the day with what is needed and when the car is ready for pick up. The hours are great and I love the fact everything that is done is quick to pull up in their history. TOP NOTCH SERVICE!!!!

My experience purchasing a vehicle from Hendrick Toyota Concord was excellent. From the Sales Team, I worked with Jimmy Michalec. He earned a Customer for life. Because I put a deposit on an allocated vehicle that was not yet built, my purchase experience was longer than most people will experience. Throughout that entire period of time, Jimmy was always courteous, very proactive with communications to me, and from day one I felt Jimmy exceeded my expectations for the vehicle purchase experience. From the moment I walked in the door to the time I drove my new vehicle home, I did not experience anything negative. I would highly recommend Jimmy Michalec to everyone looking to purchase a vehicle at Hendrick Toyota Concord. From the Finance Team, I worked with Matt Kaiser. My finance experience at Hendrick Toyota Concord was the most straight forward and transparent experience I have had with Dealership Financing. Matt is very personable and through our interaction he completely changed my perspective on Dealership Financing. Matt’s ability to find common ground, establish connections, and speak to me like a friend took away much of the anxiety that can come with Dealership Financing. Matt was always willing to answer my question with the right level of detail. Matt was able to be there for me and talk through multiple scenarios and help me determine which financial products would be the right fit. Matt has also earned a Customer for life and I would recommend anyone looking to finance a vehicle at Hendrick Toyota Concord to ask for Matt Kaiser.

I’ve been getting my Toyota’s serviced at Hendrick Toyota Concord since the 90’s. They have always done a great job getting me in and out in reasonable. They keep you abreast of any delays and do not try and hard sell you with unnecessary services.

Not satisfied with the work done

Had a problem with a parking brake sticking. I described in detail the problem, together with the research I did on the internet that indicated the problem was most likely not in the cables, but rather a lack of lubrication in the brake hub for each rear wheel. The result I got was I needed to replace all three cables for ~$1,100.00. When I questioned if they looked in the brake hub and cleaned/lubricated the friction points, I was told they had not and were not able to replicate it, but still recommended throwing $1,100 at the problem with a wait time for back-ordered parts estimated unknown (6 weeks to many months). I realize there is a profit motive here, but what happened to providing a customer with service? For the above reason, I cannot say the work was done in a way that I would recommend. I told the person writing this up that Tacoma's were known to have this problem and it was usually solved by cleaning and lubricating the moving parts inside each brake hub. If that had been done and the problem still persisted, I would understand further work.

Purchase of New Toyota Highlander

After visiting a different Toyota dealer and not having a good experience, I went to Hendrick Toyota Concord. The salesman was very polite and respectful. He was concerned that I purchase a vehicle to meet my needs. After the purchase he spent a large amount of time to explain all the functions in the vehicle and helping me connect my phone. He called the next day to see if I needed anything. Finance manager was also very polite and friendly. While their I met the Service Manager and discussed my expectations for service. Again, a very friendly and member of the Hendrick Team. I feel good about my purchase and upcoming service experiences.
