onI am a repeat customer of Johnson Subaru. Each experience has been great. My last purchase was a 2024 Crosstrek. The sales team was informative and responsive. I got a fair price for the car and my Outback trade-in. No high pressure sales tactics from the finance representative, which is refreshing. I have used the dealership for service for my Outback for years without issues. Recommended

One of the BEST car buying experiences I have ever had

onThe team at Johnson is my local Subaru dealer. I had researched the Outback and felt it would likely meet by needs. Meeting Jamie Hackney was a real pleasure. He listened carefully to what we were looking for. He wasted no time getting the cars I wanted to sit in and test drive. We established that email was the best form of communication, and all of Jamie`s notes were timely, comprehensive and honest. Working with his finance team, we were able to agree on a very reasonable price ahead of time. He liaised with my insurer and obtained all the needed paperwork also, ahead of time. I feel that this team is likely one of the best, most professional and helpful team I have ever purchased a vehicle from. Would highly recommend them for anyone who values high level customer service and responsiveness. Looking forward to all of my services with this group of good folk.

onThe sales team was exceptional, and I am beyond happy with our experience at Johnson Subaru. Beat car buying and trading experience I have had. AJ Salary in sales and Carly, the sales manager, made the process very comfortable and were respectful and realistic when talking with us. I have never, ever had a salesperson take up the time AJ did to show me how every single feature worked. He was very respectful and not pushy. Would return. Would recommend!

onWe have leased 3 outback’s. The sales team is very helpful and low pressure. Our new car was picked up on November 13th. Our salesperson Maria was great keeping us up to date throughout the process. We moved to Delaware and went back to Johnson Subaru.

onOur salesman, Dylan Seagroves, was attentive and pleasantly persistent and willing to help us find a Subaru that fit our budget and other expectations. He was always professional, a good listener and offered a very relaxing, no-pressure experience. The sales manager (Cas) and the finance director (Carly) were also very helpful and willing to negotiate and make this a very pleasant experience.

on1. Value. I’m pleased with the fair deal on the sale price of the car. Subaru is one of the best value cars on the market. 2. Sales. The sales staff was very respectful and helpful with my internet sale. They made me feel quite safe buying a car during the pandemic when I was very nervous about visiting the dealership to finalize the papers. My Acura finally died but unfortunately during a time that made it difficult to shop for a new vehicle. But, their virtual test drive videos and allowing me to work out a deal via email made this my best experience buying a car. 3. Closing. The terms of the purchase were easily presented and efficient. I was very impressed with the comfortable discussion about warranty and service options. Again, it was such a pleasant overall experience compared to some agonizing previous car purchases with other retailers. This dealership has really worked out the experience of buying a car! Why can’t it be fun rather than an expected confrontational tug of war? I’m so delighted that this was a positive occasion, especially during a bit of a stressful air of the pandemic. They had sanitizer, wore masks when I’m closer proximity and I wore a mask to protect them as well. But their facility is so open air, bright, and ultra clean that I felt very relaxed. 4. I drove my new car away very happy. It was a wonderful experience and the car was delivered to me right up front, shiny and clean. Also good was that I got to leave the burdensome old Acura with them. Thank you Johnson Subaru for my best car buying experience ever. I don’t know what you could improve. Just keep doing your buyer experience endeavors.

Love my Subaru Outback

Great service and best price in the state

onJohnson Subaru of Cary, N.C. knows how to deliver 5+ Star services, I have purchased more than 26 autos in my lifetime and this group knows how to beat any deal I could find and Johnson Subaru has provided the best service I have ever found in this State from any dealer. Not only did they beat the 3 local Subaru Dealers available to me from my home in Pinehurst, N.C. from Fayetteville to Durham but by well over $1,495.00 for the exact same 2019 Subaru Outback Touring 3.6R down to every option. (Apple for Apple) with an amazing process that I started by using their website, this included financing, trade-in, selection, and options. I was amazed when I arrived everything was completed via the their website!!! (110%) I never even went into the dealership until I was ready to take the delivery of my New Subaru Outback 3.6R yesterday 5/23/2019. The sale staff, Dylan Seagrove and the General Manager Jeremy Bridges were very helpful and made my New Subaru purchase an amazing process, like none other I have ever experienced in my 51+ years. “WOW” is all I can say for this team!!!!!! Everything down to the payment terms, trade-in process and selection was spot on as stated on their website. The whole delivery process only took 48.3 minutes from arrival with my trade to driving off the lot in Cary. When I arrived home to Pinehurst I notice a small blemish on my new Subaru and texted Dylan Seagrove at 10:39 PM last night and he call me with in two minutes at 10:41 PM to inquire as to my issue. Buy this morning at 8 am the General Manager Jeremy Bridges called me and offered to send a driver today to Pinehurst to pick up my new Subaru and leave me a loner Subaru while they fix the blemish that was minor at their expense. This is unheard of service in todays economy but Johnson Subaru stood behind their word and then some. I would look no further for your new Subaru if you are in the market. I spent well over 45 days researching prices and dealers to find this deal and would never go elsewhere in the future. Great experience and teamwork

We were especially impressed with Reed in Sales and Brett in Finance. Reed was absolutely awesome and made the whole experience so pleasant which is not an experience I have ever had before in car buying. super nice, super knowledgable and went out of his way.

Very Poor Customer Service

onJeff Demeyer Service Manager, and General Manager Kevin Hand of Johnson Hyundai of Cary provide the absolute worst customer service imaginable. I had what I felt to be a transmission related concern with a brand new car I purchased from the dealership just two years earlier. Jeff Demeyer told me to bring it in and they'd provide me with a loaner during the time my vehicle was under repair. When I got to the dealership he said I'd have to pay $35 a day for a loaner car and if they could duplicate my concern they'd credit me. I then asked to speak to General Manager Kevin Hand who backed Jeff Demeyer and failed to honor what I was originally told. #hyundai #hyundaiofcary #johnsonhyundai #jeffdemeyer #kevinhand

Tire Replacement

onThe services manager or technician (Mr Rees) was easy to work with. He told me they would be putting on Yokohama tires but ended up putting on Continental without a word as to why, was the cost the same, lesser or better safety rated tires.. Also I had given him discount coupons when I was in for prior service when he gave me an estimate for the follow-up tire service but did not use them when I picked up the car after the tire service. (If they did not apply it would have been nice to have said so.)

Another ridiculous warranty service challenge

onJohnson Subaru refused to replace battery on a six month old Outback despite viewing the AAA report stating it had a bad cell. Not once did they refuse but twice. The GM called. Hung up on me and then proceeded to send me emails stating what a bad guy I was?
