Just didn't feel right

Pulled up this car from Edmunds and was very interested. Emailed Cox and they responded quickly. Price on both Edmunds and Cox was $21,260 Also said iit wasToytota Certified Received email from Cox and said best price was $20,960 and again list price was $21,260 Arrived to test drive & window sticker said $23,900 and no warranty. When I said I thought it was Certified.with warrenty, rep opened glove box and found certified paperwork. When we got to neogiting price he questioned the $20.900 price and fortunately I printed the email. After checking, he said there was a mistake on the web and the $23,900 was actual price and the $21,260 was a mistake and he would honor the $20,900 email offer. I did walk away from the deal for the following reasons: 1, concerned that car stated no warranty, even though the certified infomation was in glove box 2. When I tried to counter offer, there was no negotiation.

Was looking at trading my 2011 Tacoma for a newer Tacoma. Worked with two other Toyota Dealership. Could not get what I wanted as far as price and the options I wanted. Even though one of these Dealersip I had previously brought 4 other Toyota from them and they still would not work with me. Cox Toyota treated me as a person not just a potential customer and only wanting a sale. The salesman Paul was very polite and not just trying to push a sale. I am very excited working with a true down home Dealersip. Thank You Mr. Cox for being a family Dealersip. Donald

When I walked into the dealership, I was greeted by Ryan W. He sat down with my me and my husband and listened as I told him what I wanted in a car and what my budget was. He showed me a few cars and I ultimately fell in love with my 2012 Toyota Camry! He knew a great deal about the car, and if he didn't know something, he did not hesitate to get the answer. He walked me through the process since it was my first time buying a car. He got me everything I wanted and more all within my budget. I didn't have to haggle over the price or anything. He also kept up good conversation while we waited on the paperwork. He was very honest with the process and kept us in the loop. When I'm ready to trade my car in, I'll definitely be seeking out Ryan W at Cox Toyota!

Smooth and Professional Experience

After shopping multiple dealers I arrived at Cox Toyota and received a warm and friendly greeting. The entire experience could not have been better. Their trade value exceeded other dealers and I was explained the numbers in an easy to understand format. Delivery was quick and efficient. I could not have been happier. I have already had multiple phone calls thanking me for my business, scheduling my first oil change etc. What a breath of fresh air. Three managers spoke with me during the purchase and I was given a tour of the facility for familiarity. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a fair price in a low pressure but professional environment.

Best Price and Best Car Buying Experience

About two months ago, I realized it was time to trade out my Ford product (which I had nothing but problems with) for a new vehicle. I reviewed consumers reports and decided that the Toyota Camry would be my best bet due to the Camry's 30+mpg highway rating, Comfort, Reliability, Resale Value and Information on the Previous Owner's Satisfaction Ratings, The new body style also stood out to me, when I saw others pass me on the road. I live in Burligton, NC and gave Cox Toyota the opportunity to earn my business and man did they. The sales staff was the BEST and went out of their way to assist me in my decision making process. They were not pushy in any way, unlike my previous car buying experience. The entire process took less than 30 minutes and the negotiation process was simple, straight forward and upfront. I completely love my white Camry LE and would advised anyone to try one out, as you will fall in love with it as well. I have had my car serviced once, since I purchased it.....and to my surprise, Cox Toyota had a lady in the waiting room who gave me a free manicure as I waited. I continue to be amazed by their customer service. If you're looking for 5 Star service, then Cox Toyota is the place to go~!

NEW FJ Cruiser

I purchased a new FJ Cruiser from Cox toyota in Burlington NC a few months ago. When I was looking at the car at the dealership I saw a place on the door that was small and asked if there had been any damage. The salesman quickly said no and it was a factory defect. So it was late and I purchased the vehicle and took it home in the dark. A week later while I was washing the FJ for the first time I found more and more trash in the paint and took it straight to Cox Toyota. They said that there was no way the damage occured on there lot and they would investigate it. 2 days later and after speeking to 4 different people the admited that it did happen on their lot and was repaired there also. We then agree to let them fix the problem and I dropped the FJ off at the dealership. Note they did give me a trailer hitch for my troubles. I was ok with the deal until I picked up my car a few days later. The paint job was worse than before and the painter did not remove any of the plastic trim, All the trim had paint on it and he painted the fromt fender also. So I went from one door painted to two doors and a fender painted. So you would think that was it right, nope there was over spray all over my FJ . So I took it back again and gave them another shot. I picked it up and the plastic had been replaced the paint was pretty good but you could still see the tape lines in the door sill, the overspray is still there and there is alot more all over the windshield and the paint on both sides of the car. So since they wont let me take it to another painter and they told me my warranty was void on my paint I cant take it to another dealership for repairs I dont know what to do. I did contact Toyota and they turned it back over to the dealership. The loaner car I drove when I was waiting on my new car to be painted had a paper floor mat that said OUR CUSTOMERS ARE NUMBER ONE and I had to shake my head. The dealership claims that since the damage was not over 5% they have no liability. Well the only proof they have of the damage is a invoice from the guy that has painted my FJ three times now. No pictures and no insurance claim just an invoice from a guy who cant tape a car off much less paint one. I hope this helps you in your choice of automotive dealerships.
