Unprofessional.

This is a wholly unprofessional environment. "The customer is always right" is an antiquated approach to business, however, when an alleged "professional" makes a mistake, there is a correct way to handle it and an incorrect way. I was met with the incorrect way the entire graciously brief sales encounter I experienced here. I was told the vehicle I had asked after since it entered the lot was not able to be held for an appointment after making what was told to be the earliest test drive appointment. I was then talked over by the sales manager and told I was in the wrong and there was nothing that could be done to right the mistake. The manager raised his voice at me and proceeded to tell me I could not make a test drive appointment and expect for that to be respected and held. After politely telling the salesman that I was not interested in doing business due to the unprofessionalism, I have since continued to receive calls and emails asking after my business, even at my place of work. Wholly unprofessional and frankly, humiliating. I would never recommend this location for used car purchases.

The Worst Dealership I ever visited

The worst Dealership Ever! I drove from out of state to purchase a very expensive vehicle, the treatment I received seemed like they were doing me a favor. No one shook my hand nor was offered a bottle of water. I had a lot questions and LUCAS HENSLEY was vey annoyed with my questions. I had my 100% veteran disability letter and my active duty dependent military ID card the finance manager still charged me $540 tax knowingly active duty military and veterans with 100% disability who reside in SC do not get pay tax on their vehicles. I also wanted to add my husband name to the application and I had durable power of attorney authorized me to do anything. The finance officer told me I couldn’t use the power of attorney to add my husband’s name. Even after the purchase while leaving the dealership not one person shook my hand. After signing all the papers in the finance office, the finance officer did not walk me back to the salesman. The finance officer told me to go find the salesman. Not a friendly place at all. I will never go back there nor will I recommend anyone to shop there.

Best buying experience ever

Dean Hollar was our sales pro and he was just that a pro. He took his time, explained all of our choices, never rushed us and made an excellent deal with us. He demonstrated the features of our new RAV4 Limited and made the whole buying experience a pleasure. I highly recommend Dean Hollar and Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville.

I will NEVER be back!

We were in the market to buy a new vehicle. I had heard very negative reviews of Fred Anderson Toyota, but figured we would try them out and form our own impression. I should have listened to the poor reviews from the get go. To start with we showed up and found a vehicle we were interested in. We stood in the parking lot 30 minutes waiting on someone to come help us (3 sales representatives stood out front and watched us while they smoked). Once one did come help, he acted as if he didn’t care if we bought the vehicle or not. We test drove the vehicle (we were pleased with the vehicle) and came back to discuss numbers. The sales representative basically pushed my wife out of the way to get into the sale office door before she did. When running the numbers they attempted to give as an extremely unacceptable offer for trade in on our current vehicle ($4900 less than Bryan Easler). I questioned this offer they made and he said he would go get his sales manager. The sales manager was rude from the very beginning. He was determined to prove me wrong and show why they were going to sell me an over priced vehicle. We walked out and it was the best decision I have ever made. If you want to be treated fair and honest take your business to Bryan Easler Toyota. Friendly staff, honest dealings, and they acted as if we were the biggest priority that had ever walked through the door . Jeremiah held the door for me and my wife and offered snacks and drinks while we waited. David the sales manager was forward with his prices and did anything he could to make us happy. Mike was the finance officer and made the final dealings painless. Please take my advise and DO NOT go to Fred Anderson. Pass this along to anyone that is in the market for a new vehicle.

What Mr. Turner brings to the process is the ability to listen and understand the needs and concerns of his customers. His approach is crucial in creating a calm relaxed atmosphere in the process of finding the right vehicle for the client. The most important quality that Mr Turner has is integrity. Would Not Recommend

I would not recommend Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville to anyone if you plan on servicing your vehicle here. Thanks to the service department I am stuck parking my brand new 2018 4Runner and was forced to buy a second vehicle to drive. The reason I have had to go out and buy a second vehicle is because my brakes have went out on me twice and I continuously get a burning brake smell to where people have came up to me in a parking lot and said it smells like my vehicle is on fire! I have taken it in to the service department several times on this issue over the past 10k miles and Toyota says that this is ‘normal’! I refuse to continue to put my 3 year olds and my own life at danger because of them! Yes I have called corporate, but they won’t do anything because they have called the service manager and he told her it was normal. They said my only option was to trade it in or sell it, which I refuse to put someone else’s life at danger like Toyota has done to mine and my daughters! There are several other issues with the vehicle that they say are ‘normal’ as well, but for the multiple brake failures to be ‘normal’ is a huge safety concern and uncalled for!

wasted my time

I had an appointment with a sales person and when I got there I was told it was her day off. So I waited for another sales person who looked up the car I was interested in and was told it had come in but was sold. I t had been ordered for someone and never was available for me to buy after being told it was. wasted my time.

Sales person who lies - No thank you

Unfortunately I found out they lied to seal the deal , and the seller will take no responsibility. Hard to get a hold of people once you are out of the door. Does not seem like a company that values honesty and customer satisfaction.
