onFrom the first time I went to New Country Toyota to look at some new car options until I signed a contract, Dan Miller was great! He offered as much time as I needed to discuss various models. Dan clearly explained mechanical and performance, audio multimedia and safety features. He is efficient and diligent in communicating. Dan listened to my preferences for optional and included packages and accessories both interior and exterior. He explained price points and worked with me to find a comfortable one. onI went in with a wish list of what I wanted my next vehicle to be. After 2 years of consideration and researching trucks my wish list was long. The dealership was short staffed due to covid but they took the time and found me exactly what I was looking for. I am beyond happy with the service and really cannot believe they managed to get me exactly what I wanted in a reasonable amount of time. During a pandemic. onAt no point did anyone ask me what they could do to earn my business, they just did it. Dan Miller greeted me at the door on my first visit to learn about Prius Prime. He really knows this car! I had a thorough demonstration, a test drive, and all my questions answered. I visited a couple of other dealers who offered to get me the car I wanted, but I went back to New Country to purchase because the experience there was so informative, laid back, and fun. Nobody came close to knowing as much about the Prime as Dan. It took a couple of weeks to locate my Prime, but it was well worth the wait. I got exactly what I wanted, and I can't recommend this team highly enough.

onYour service manager, Joe Thorne, is an extraordinary asset to your company. If it were up to me, I would give him a raise. Conscientious, knowledgeable, organized and insightful. Found a way to deal with a broken back, that wouldn't have been possible by anyone else. An asset beyond compare. Thank you, Woody! ( A nickname given to him by friends. onI purchased a 2015 Toyota Camry from this dealership in May, 2016. From the minute my wife and I walked in the door, there was an immediate feeling of being brushed off and forced to deal with a newbie salesman. We knew exactly what car we were interested in purchasing, and asked to test drive the vehicle. During the test drive, I asked several specific questions about the vehicle's features. The salesman's responses were either "umm" or a flat out lie because he did not know the answer. So rather than tell us he did not know, and he would get the answer, he lied. After the test drive and giving the car a good once over, we told the salesman we had 2 other cars to test drive and we would be in touch before the close of business that day. We called him back within an hour and told him we wanted the Toyota. We drove back to Saratoga to drop off our $100 retainer the same day, which was a Thursday. Delivery of the car was two days later, Saturday. Trying to keep this as short as possible, this is what followed. We paid cash for the car, so the salesman had no work to do as far as obtaining financing for us. We also inquired about the environmental protection plan, and we were quoted the wrong price...by about $900. We still purchased the plan because of what were were told it covers. We were told the car had the entune audio system, which it does, but the salesman told me specifically that it was the system that comes with the apps and the GPS. Apparently that one is the 'premium' system, which is not the same as the one in the car. That was a big selling point for me, and here again, the salesman's lack of knowledge or concern comes off looking like another dishonest sales tactic. After going through the entire purchase of the vehicle, we had to listen to the finance manager's sales pitch for the extended warranty. I know she has a job to do, and I respect that. But when she was done explaining it to us, and we told her we could not afford to purchase the extended warranty right now (since we were paying cash and not financing the $20,000 purchase), her whole attitude changed. I explained to her that my wife was going through cancer treatment at that time, and until she was done we couldn't risk spending the extra money because we didn't know what medical expenses were in our immediate future. Your finance manager actually used my wife's cancer as an excuse to try and pressure us into buying the warranty. She said "that's even more of a reason to buy the warranty", then went on to tell us that the electronics in the car were about the equivalent of having 80 cell phones in our car (?!?) and you know how reliable cell phones are. I was getting quite upset at this point. I explained to her again that we would like to buy the warranty, but couldn't just now. She told me we had a year to purchase it, but when my wife asked her about that, she was told that yes, you have a year, but I can't guarantee this price. It could be $600, $700 or even $800 more. Really? There used to be a time when paying cash for a car earned you a little respect, but apparently no matter how you pay for it at this dealership, basic respect and customer service aren't part of the package. Anyhow, we arrived on Saturday to pick up the car, sign the papers, etc. once we were finished, we were told that the salesman would take us to the car and explain all of the features, how they worked, etc. He took us to the car. Then he stood there. With his arms crossed. And said nothing. My wife and I proceeded to inspect the car and the environmental protection plan that was put on the car. Upon closer inspection, there were several scratches on the paint job which weren't visible upon test drive because the car was covered with a thick layer of pollen and impossible to see. I immediately questioned the salesman and got a shrug from him. I called him the following Monday and told him that since the scratches were not visible at test drive, and we paid to have the environmental protection applied to the car, that it should not have been coated with scratches present on the car. We wanted the scratches fixed at no charge. After fighting for a couple of weeks, he finally agreed to fix the scratches at no cost to us. During this entire time...even up until last week, we have tried several times to contact the new car, used car, and General managers of Saratoga Toyota to discuss these issues with them in private, but have not received even one phone call back, nor did Adam (the GM) bother to respond to an email my wife sent. We tried getting some type of response by going through the call center. The people at the call center were extremely customer service oriented, helpful and concerned about our issues and tried everything from that end to get someone to call us back, still nothing. The body shop manager, who repaired our scratches, was beyond courteous, helpful, and apologetic, even though he didn't have one thing to do with the problems we encountered. We were completely dissatisfied with the entire sales process and total disregard for our satisfaction, and will not be a return customer. If you had more people like your body shop manager working in sales, we would probably be repeat customers for life. And please remember, I tried everything in my power to reach one of your managers in person before leaving this review.

This is my 5th car purchased from Adam Michelucci and it won't be my last. Seriously gone down hill

onBeen buying from this dealer for 16 years but since they changed sales management it's really gone down hill. Offered me $8k less than NADA book for a two year old vehicle in mint condition. They no longer look after customers, it's no longer a quality dealership, their presidents award must have come from Obama. Only go here if you feel like giving away your current vehicle and overpaying for a new one.
