We purchased a used PT Cruiser which was not delivered as promised! We paid for air conditioning, yet the car was not delivered with working air conditioning. When we brought this to the attention of the new owner (son of the former owner) he became quite nasty and refused to fix it.

I had the best experiance I ever at Riverhead Dodge

I recently purchased my 2007 Jeep Wrangler at Riverhead Dodge. I have been searching for a car for over three months and have been through the mill with random car dealerships. I had such a great experience at Riverhead Dodge that I felt compelled to write this review. For starters, their selection is second to none! They had exactly the color and model I was looking for. Their sales staff was friendly, knowledgeable and best of all non aggressive and pushy. I was able to look around without pressure and when I was ready I was helped immediately and offered a test drive. They also certified my car and got me financed at a much lower rate then I was currently paying! Thank you Riverhead Dodge and staff! My Jeep is perfect!!! I will be sending everyone I know your way. Keep up the good work. Michelle

Riverhead Dodge sold us a car with broken air conditioning

Be very careful buying a used car from Riverhead Dodge. They sold us a 2006 Chyrsler PT Cruiser in February 2010. The car was advertised as having A/C. The first warm day we turned on the A/C, we got nothing but hot air! (Much like the salesman who sold us the car.) We brought it in to the dealer, but they refused to even look at it unless we paid a service charge. Later, they would not fix it without a full payment from us. We were told "Sorry, the A/C is not under warranty" and "If we believed everyone who bought a car from us that said something was broken, we'd go broke." Essentially they called us liars and sent us away with our broken A/C. When we went to recharge it ourselves, we found that someone had put florescent dye in the line, proving that either the previous owner or the dealer knew the A/C was already broken. Either way, the dealer did not check it before selling it, and is now refusing to fix it. In the past, my family has always purchased cars from Mullen Motors in Southold, and they've always been honest and stood by their products. Not so for Riverhead Dodge. Do yourself a favor and drive east to Mullen Motors and avoid Riverhead Dodge.
