I traded my 2011 pilot with 2014 odyssey. They took my car in exchange with the new one now I received a bill from the previous bank for $1300. Instead of buying they returned the vehicle and the bank is charging me for wear and tear. As I returned to them they refuse to take care of that. Now I'm stuck with this amount on the top of $4200 that I paid for down payment. They took my car as they are fully responsible and they never said I would be liable for wear and tear. They just wanted to make the sale. I was fooled and betrayed. I lease every three years and I never experienced such situation before. So be sure when you are trading with them

Excellent help from all involved. From our salesman Rob, the rep from PA. Mike, to the Finance manager John, it was overall a very positive experience. We love our two new vehicles.

A shiny new car !!!

After doing my homework...I bought my new car on my lunch hour!! I made an appointment, was seen promptly and sold the car I wanted at the price I offered. My salesperson was helpful, knowledgeable and most of all pleasant. I highly recommend Apple Honda this is my fourth Honda from them.

I traded a Cadillac Escalade for a 2013 Honda Pilot. My salesmen, Eric G. was sensational! He had answers for all my questions and went out of his way to make this a wonderful, positive experience for me. I would highly recommend Apple Honda, Mr. Eric G. and the 2013 Honda Pilot. Very happy with my new Accord!

Recently purchased a new Honda Accord and am very happy overall with both the vehicle and my experience at Apple Honda. Our salesperson was very friendly, helpful and not overly aggressive like some other dealerships. I've had many friends and family members all share the same experience here, snd never once have I heard a complaint. Good people and great cars, what more can you ask for!

Great Prices/honest people

Were looking for a used Honda Pilot for some time and just couldn't find any inventory in Nassau County. Checked Apple Honda's website and were impressed by their inventory and prices (much lower than any dealership in Nassau County). Took the long ride to Riverhead the next day and boy am I glad that we did. We met Eric (who we spoke to on the phone) who introduced us to Michael V. Mike found us the perfect 2008 Pilot, was extremely knowledgeable and patient. Price negotiation was simple. Met with the finance fellow (John) who was also very nice and honest. Picked up the vehicle 3 days later. It was detailed beautifully and then the next day we took it on a 12 hour round trip drive to pick up our son at college. The Pilot drove beautifully. I would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from this dealership and to recommend them to family and friends. There was absolutely no uncomfortable car sales pressure which was refreshing.

Salesman we worked with was named Kelly Shannon, really helped us out alot, and I feel like we were paired up with the best salesman in the place! very honest, and did everything he could for us! We definitely plan to return to Apple Honda because of him.

don't buy from apple honda

worked with sales person on exl 6 cylinder - after aqgreeing to price left a deposit and called insurance company to send binder. was going to pick up car in one week (saturday to saturday) Sales person called by three days later saying they couldn't honor deal because cost of money changed. Talked to friends who have had similar experiences with this dealership over bait and switch tactics. reported them to Honda finance.

A FEW GOOD MEN ( AND WOMAN)

So I have to say off the bat that if anyone was going to shop at this dealership the only people i would deal with are Christopher Donovan, Stacy and Jeff. I would have to say make SURE you do not speak with the used car people if purchasing a new car. One of the used car guys made a quote that i guess he shouldn't have which caused the entire problem i had with the purchase. I must say though that the three people mentioned above were outstanding and decent people. There may be a few others in the bunch that I am not sure of but there are also a few bad ones in the bunch that i am sure caused the other two posters to be unhappy..... I did have some trouble and asked to speak with the owner and was quickly told that the situation would be handled which it was. I really had no hassles when picking the car up and would recommend dealing with any of the three people mentioned..... The Owner should be made aware that Christoher, Stacy and Jeff and should be commended for their commitment to his clients.... Laura Schlamp

So i was a little sceptical after reading the first two posts especially after working in the law field and seeing exactly what can happen to people ... But decided they seemed nice to deal with and so i headed to Apple Honda to purchase a new 2009 Pilot. So far my dealings have been with Jeff and Christopher. After a bad experience with previous car purchases so far things are looking ok. A few issues were had but they so far have been very accomodating..... I beleive in not only telling the bad side of things but also the good. My car should be available for pick up in a few days and therefore will post more on the experience once i am completely through....... To be continued.... Laura Schlamp

Beware of sales at APPLE HONDA

I went to Apple Honda in Riverhead NY. My mother needed a car and did not have any experience in buying a car. I went in to the dealership and worked out the deal. I brought my mother in to see the car and drive it and sign the paperwork. On the day of delivery they called my mother to come into the dealership two hours before the scheduled pickup time knowing I could not make it there at that time. In my absents the finance Manager George and the Sales Man Jeff changed the deal around and talked my mother into buying an expensive, needless waranty. They told her that it would be refunable if we decided we did not need it. 4 Months later the dealership still refuses to give the money back. They refuse to return phone calls and pretend they are not in the office when we drive to the dealership. I now had to file a case with 5th district court to try and recover the money. PLEASE BEWARE OF APPLE HONDA RIVERHEAD, GEORGE AND JEFF!!! Once you pay apple honda they do not care who you are or want to know you. If you have a problem after they are paid, you are [violative content deleted].

There's a Bad Apple in Riverhead!

The worst car buying experience I have ever encountered. They sold me a Honda Certified Used Car (2007 ACcord with under 2,000 miles) and after having it home for a day I discovered that it had been in a $2200 accident and repaired with non-factory parts, that they tried to pass it off as "Certified". When I told them about it their claim was that it had a clean car fax report which it did. Unfortunately, under close inspection, it was obvious that this car should not have passed as a certified vehicle, considering the rigorous 151 point inspection Honda claims it needs to go through to become certified. After 2 days, they offered to allow us to return the car, but the next day, when attempting to pick up my deposit check, they said that was no longer an option, and that I could either have the car fixed by them, or purchase a new car. Since they had my money I had no choice. Honda Corporate was pretty useless in forcing their hand. They claim each dealer is independantly owned and operated and there was not much they could do. The correct thing to do would have been to void the sale. We were forced into purchasing a new car we really did not want. I would advise anyone to be extremely cautious if considering purchasing a used car from Apple Honda.
