onMarcus was wonderful to deal with. He was great at communicating during the whole purchasing of our vehicle. He went above and beyond picking us up at the airport staying late to finalize the deal and even followed up with us a couple days later on how it was working out for us. I would highly recommend working with him he’s a stellar salesman!!!

onI brought my truck in for its 50k checkup. Juan Rosa and the technician were very helpful in letting me know what service was required and what the rates were. I was very pleased with the work and time it took to take care of what was needed. I’ll definitely head back there for any future work needed.

onWhat a painless process this was! Marcus found me the exact truck I wanted and never gave up on it. We had spoken a couple months prior and called me out of the blue to let me know he found me my dream truck. It was good to deal with someone that prides themselves on professionalism. Disappointed

onBrought me new truck to have my door repaired that was damaged when I picked up my new truck and get an oil change. Your dealership put 100 miles on my truck while it was there. Sean the service manager could not give me a legitimate reason and then stated “ I don’t know what else you want me to tell you”. This was after waiting 3 months to get this appointment. Very disappointed.

onI have to say my experience at Romeo did not start as a positive one. However, once I connected with Jason Peterson, Parts Manager, everything turned around. He provided excellent customer service, developed a remedy to the issue with my 2015 Acadia and connected me with a different Service Advisor, Bobby Leichter. Bobby brings many years of on hand experience in the industry. He therefore was able to explain exactly what was being done to my vehicle and provided me with status updates during my visit. Both men provided top notch customer service..... A job well done !! Romeo should be proud to have both Jason and Bobby on their team.

Poor Service

onI took my car into Romeo Chevy to get the engine service light corrected. They told me that the problem was corrected for $1000. When I took the car home, my code reader indicated that I had a permanent code, and the check engine light returned. I took the car back to Romeo and again they said that they had corrected the problem – this time for $650. Before I left, I showed them that my code reader still had a permanent code, and they said that I should drive for 100 miles to see if the code cleared. The next day the engine service light illuminated, so I called to schedule an appointment. They said that they could not schedule an appointment for another month. I asked to speak to a manager and was forwarded to an answering machine. As of this writing, I have not heard from him. I called the Chevy corporate office who said that they would contact the dealer, but it is a privately owned entity. I cannot get my Chevy to pass inspection.

So good, and so bad…..

onWell certain aspects of this dealership were phenomenal. Steve the finance manager was epic. All car sales representatives should be modeled after him. And Ashley the sales girl was amazing. These two saved the deal. Because oh boy…… Well even though Edmunds said my trade in was worth $7,300, the [non-permissible content removed] used car person offered me an insulting $4,000. Then tried to look like a hero and offer me a $500 rebate THAT WAS ALREADY OFFERED TO ME!! It KILLED me to shake his limp hand….. Had I not driven two hours to seek out the truck I wanted, I would have left as soon as he opened his yap… Now as far as the truck goes….. it’s stunning! My dream car!! Except the back lift gate opens when it wants to…. I was assured it was fixed when I left…. So now I need to burden a dealership local to me to get it fixed. But again, the only reason this deal was made because of Steve and Ashley!! A rocking duo!!

Above and beyond!!!

onI have never had a better experience buying a car in my life!!! My brother had his heart set on a particular truck that had a great price but we were from out of state. Everyone we spoke to was so pleasant and helpful, but Troy Chadwell went absolutely above and beyond for us. He answered every question, sent us pictures of the vehicle, and was always reachable. Steve Vitiello was tremendous getting all the paperwork finalized by the time we got there, and thoroughly explained each document, which we were so appreciative of. There were no hidden fees or surprises, no one pressured or deceived us, and it almost felt too good to be true. Not only were we able to drive home the truck the same day to avoid multiple long drives, we were in and out in less than ONE HOUR, with a full tank of gas. That is just unheard of in my experience. Apparently car shopping doesn’t have to be painful, you just have to go to the right place. I truly can’t say enough great things about Romeo Chevrolet Buick GMC, and I will happily make the drive again to purchase my next vehicle.

Bluebird Bolt

onI enjoyed my experience with the salesman, Kincaid Smith.l, when purchasing a 2023 Chevy Bolt. He was very respectful, no pressure, no overt sales pitches which was refreshing! Especially when as a woman, can be intimidating or just plain rude. Kincaid was very knowledgeable about the Bolt lineup. I am now a happy owner of a Bolt EUV Yay!!!!🤗

onI can't thank George and his team at Romeo GMC enough. I drove over an hour and a half to use them because they are the most professional and courteous team I ever dealt with. I happened to call George on his day off, and he still went out of his way to help me out. The sale process was smooth and honest. You have to use them if you are in the market for a GMC, Buick or Chevrolet!!

Ashley and Romeo Chevy are top notch

onTrying to find a used car in today’s market is a very trying task. It appears you cannot trust any of the dealerships you go into they all have hidden fees. We were at the point of giving up on finding my daughter a car but then I decided to reach out to Ashley at Romeo Chevy. They had the exact Jeep we were looking for and in the color we wanted. When asked about their fees Ashley said all they have is a $75 fee. So we decided to make the 2.5 hour drive to see what they had. Test drove the Jeep and a Ford Escape loved them both and my daughter picked the Compass. Sat with the business manager finalized the deal again no hidden fees. Since we were financing through our own bank we were going to have to come back to pick up the car. Ashley volunteered to deliver the car to us. She took that 2.5 hour drive and Romeo Chevy sent an additional car to ensure she had a ride back. Talk about going above and beyond. Will give them all my business going forward. Ashley and Romeo Chevrolet are amazing.

Terrible Service: Lied to, and Taken Advantage Of

onWhere do I start with this horrible experience? After finding a truck online that was attractive, I drove the 2.5 hours to Lake Katrine, NY to visit Romeo Chevy Buick GMC. They allowed me to test drive the vehicle alone; a positive given the current state of the pandemic. Once I returned to the dealership, the Sales Manager asked for a price I was comfortable with and I gave him one (~$2500 under MSRP). They said that they could not accommodate that, and I left. A different Sales Manager called me two days later and we ironed out a deal, and I submitted a $1000 deposit on the vehicle. We agreed that there would be maintenance performed on the truck and that some aftermarket accessories would be installed before delivery. Cut to: the morning of delivery. The dealership calls to tell me that the truck is on the road, but that they did not perform all of the maintenance we had agreed to. Strike One. The GM gets on the phone and says that if I absolutely want this to be performed (it was part of the deal), he would reimburse me for the service. I asked for that to be in writing via email. The email never came. Because the dealership is based in New York, and I would be registering the truck in Massachusetts, I scheduled a pre-purchase emissions inspection at a service station close to the RMV. Unfortunately, the truck does not pass the Massachusetts state emissions inspection. I bring this to the attention of the dealership, and they agree to "cut [me] a check for $800 if you take it to the RMV right now and get it registered". Again, I ask for that to be in writing via email. The email never came. After refusing the delivery due to the emissions issue, I attempted to contact the Sales Agent and Sales Manager I was working with to work out a deal and close on the vehicle. Both were slow to respond and said that they were "attempting to work it out with the owner". After finally getting the Sales Manager on the phone, he informs me that the truck has SOLD... WITH MY AFTERMARKET ACCESSORIES ON IT. No notice, and apparently a deposit means NOTHING to this dealership. But then I see that the truck had recently been re-posted for sale to Facebook no more than 2-hours from the time I called. After speaking to the Internet Manager, she confirms the truck is STILL AVAILABLE. Not sold, no new owner, still has my parts on it and they still have my deposit. I don't know where they hired this team, or how they're taught to do business, but I would HIGHLY SUGGEST you shop elsewhere. Unless you're into being jerked around, lied to, and taken advantage of. In that case, Romeo Chevrolet Buick GMC is the place for you!

Great Customer Service

onI recently went to Romeo Chevrolet with the thoughts to buy 2 vehicles, because I had 2 cars due within a week of each other. The salesperson was extremely patient and answered my questions about financing and logistics of buying 2 cars. We, my daughter and I were never rushed and never felt pressured during the process. It was my daughter's first experience and she was not overlooked and was involved in the whole process. Needless to say it took a long time to test drive 2 cars and do all the paperwork. We were constantly asked if we wanted water or coffee and were always informed. Even the salespeople that were not working with us were always asking if we needed anything. Definitely recommend this dealership for fair price vehicles with outstanding customer service not only from sales but also from management.
