Just wanted to let Everyone know the experience I had with your service writer at Huntington Jeep. Worked with John who is the service writer for the Huntington Jeep. I purchased the truck on the dealers lot. He sold me his personal 2000 Grand Cherokee which he said he personally serviced and was maintained at the dealer. As soon as I got the suv on the road a day later it was at my local mechanic because it had no oil pressure. Come to find out the engine has a cracked head and it needs a whole new motor because the cam bearings are worn out from excessive collant leaking into the block and mixing with the oil. Tried to work with John to resolve and he shoed me off. This is the type of people who work at this dealership I would not recommend at all. There is a reason why many of us would rather go for root canal than deal with the issues of replacing their car. With 4 payments left on my Mazda lease, received a teaser letter from my original dealer that wound up only being a scam in that they factored the amount owed and rolled it nos so cleverly into a prospective new lease. NOT much of a pull ahead program in my eyes! My wife had her eyes on a new Jeep so as we happened to be near Huntington Jeep we stopped in just to browse and advise of our existing car lease and bad experience with the present dealer. Kevin Mahoney took us into his office and could NOT have been more accommodating. He meticuously went thru all of the dealer incentives, and after careful inspection offered to buy us out of our existing car lease as a true pull ahead program. We were in our new Jeep Grand Cherokee in just a few days and my wife and I are thrilled with the courtesy, professionalism, and the honest and fair deal that we received. In 30 years of leasing, this was by far the most comfortable transaction we ever executed. We would recommend these guys without hesitation!
