Great Shopping Experience

by pearly1979 on 02/26/2016

We had an excellent experience working with Jeff Wells at Burdick Toyota. We brought in our 2013 Sienna XLE, which we have absolutely loved, and traded it in for a new Sienna XLE. Jeff was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, and answered all of our questions. He was able to point out all the upgrades and changes from the older model, and we immediately felt comfortable and confident in our decision to buy another Toyota Sienna. The service department is also top notch, which we experienced after bringing our '13 Sienna in for it's routine maintenance the last couple of years. Thank you!

Just purchased a new Toyota Highlander

by benbunny44 on 12/31/2008

After several months of research I finally purchased a new 2008 Highlander Sport. I was extremly pleased with the whole process. I would recommend them for anybody in search of a Toyota. I first started my search by getting quotes online from several local dealers. Burdicks responses were much more timely and informative than any other dealership. I live in Fayetteville and don't like going out of my way but their thoroghness swayed me to visit them all the way up in Cicero. After arriving I was greeted by their very sweet receptionist and I was set up with a salesperson. The salesperson had the Highlander that I was interested in and it was ready for me to test drive. He knew his stuff alright. I probably asked a million questions and he was happy to answer all of them. Soon after I decided to purchase. I've ahd my Highlander for a couple of weeks now and I couldn't be happier. The only draw back that I encountered was the weather wasn't cooperating on the way to the dealership. I called the Internet Dept. and told them I had to cancel my visit because of the snow storm. They convinced me to come still even know the weather was rotten because it is the best time to test drive a SUV and boy were they right. I don't think I will ever go back to driving a car like my old Elantra ever again.

Mixed feelings...Not happy with salesman

by mrcpk on 05/14/2008

Corresponded via Internet for six months; always prompt but poor "lead in" when I went to the dealer. Was told to ask for one of two people and was "passed on" to someone else. He didn't explain "the process" (it has been almost 10 years since I purchased a vehicle) and as a result, had to make extra trips to bring in needed paper work (title) and other fees (like registration). This might be obvious to many but I haven't purchased in 10 years. Sales person failed to ask questions and was rather "cold". I didn't feel like he valued my business. Dealer was recommended and I probably would go back but my words of advice: if you feel uncomfortable with the sales person...ask for someone else. Also like that dealer called to see how I like the vehicle and experience (which I did pass on my feelings). Nice waiting room, easy transition (signing of papers, financing options. I did like the "low key" "no pressure". Love the car. For what I was looking for (Toyota Corolla) the selection (used) was small.

Pretty smooth transaction.

by bfield3 on 10/26/2007

I didn't have a trade in, so that made the whole process a lot easier. My initial dealing was done entirely through the internet. I had asked for the best possible price they could give me on a RAV4. I purposely held back some of the dealer installed options wanting to use those for bargaining chips when I went to actually sit down with a sales person. When we arrived the only thing that kind of annoyed me was the fact that I stated I had been dealing with their internet sales manager and they should have had all my contact information already. Plus they should have had the pricing available that was already forwarded to me. They still had to take all my info and they didn't even know what price I had been given online. So I had to tell them what the price was. After we chatted for awhile I asked to have some time alone with my wife to discuss the deal. When the salesman came back I told him if he would "throw in" these dealer installed options I would be willing to sign the paper right then. He took the paper and went back to his sales manager then came back and said he was willing to give me everything except one item. That one item was the auto dimming mirror, which has a list price of about $330. So I hemmed and hawed and eventually told him if he would have given me the mirror I would have signed right then. But since they wouldn't give it I had to think about it. Said I would call him the next day if I was interested. Then he said..ok...well let me go tell my manager that and I'll talk to you tomorrow. I got up and started to head towards the door and he came from the managers office and said he would give me the mirror. So I held up my end of the deal and signed. Overall it was a smooth transaction. No real pressure. Of course the financial people always try to sell you the way overpriced extended warranty and worthless fabric protection stuff. Which I've declined, but I guess it's their job. Everyone was nice, they even stayed open late for us to finish the transaction. But that's what they have to do to keep a happy customer. I've purchased 3 vehicles now from Burdick and would be hard pressed to go anywhere else. They've always treated me fairly and given me a good deal. But I have to admit, shopping for and purchasing a new car is much easier if you don't have a trade in. In fact it's even kind of fun :-) You feel like you're more in charge. I'd definitely recommend Burdick. If you don't have a trade in; work through the internet sales department. In fact get quotes from as many dealerships as you can via the internet just to make sure you're prices are in line. Which they will be at Burdick. Once you've gotten the best deal they will give you, ask for more when you get there. Don't go crazy, be reasonable and things will work out fine.
