Buyer Beware

I bought a used car from this dealership out of state. It seemed like a good deal, the sales team suggested getting it inspected and gave me the information to an inspection company and I decided to use the recommended inspection company. The inspection report comes back relatively clean, minus a a few small issues. I buy the car and have it shipped to my state. Immediately I notice that it was out of alignment and the car pulls to the right and also all 4 tires are different. I went to my local mechanic and turns out every single consumable needs to be replaced immediately. Tires are dry rotted and split, brake pads are on last limb, sway bars shot, rotors are rusted and pitted excessively. The cabin air filter looks like rats were living in it. I call the sales manager Cindy and talk to her and discuss the repairs. She told me that her mechanics do a thorough inspection prior to selling vehicles to make sure that they are road ready and that there is no recourse. Below is photos of some of the things my mechanic found. Needless to say I don't think their mechanics or the inspection company that their sales team referred me to didn't even look at this car. At the end of the conversation I asked her if this is how she would like to leave this transaction and she said there was nothing she could do. I told her that is fine I will be leave a review reflecting my experience. She then tells me that a negative wouldn't be fair for her sales staff. In the end I gave Cindy an opportunity to rectify the situation, even just an apology would have been nice. But instead of doing the right thing and owning up to it she just passed the blame and said that I should have done my research. Another issue was that the car was listed for 9995 on cars.com. When the sales agreement came to my house in the mail, it was about $800 dollars more expensive. Little last minute trickery. I understand the risk of buying a used car from a dealership "as is" and that things will need to be address with any car at some point. Certainly I didn't think the car I bought would need everything replaced as soon as it rolled off the truck. Being a luxury care dealership I would think that they would pride themselves on customer service and selling cars that are safe for their customers and their families. Unfortunately I got got by this dealership and all I can do is spread awareness about their predatory business ethics to the public. Also they don't give [non-permissible content removed] about their customers or responding to customer complaints. The response to any negative review is generic and is always the same. it goes something like this: "Good morning Mr. so and so, I am sorry to read about your frustrations. The issues which you have highlighted in your review are quite alarming, and this deeply concerns me. I will be speaking with my staff in order to gather further details regarding this incident, and we will be making any appropriate corrections. If you would like to speak about this further, please feel free to contact me at, (718) 407-0700. Eugene Woods General Manager Lexus of Brooklyn" This generic response is just an attempt to save face and boost ratings for google reviews. don't be fooled. I will certainly be contacting the Better Business Bureau, DMV and the New York Attorney Generals office in regards to this matter.

Amazing

I went to Lexus of Brooklyn on 7/23 to get my brand new Lexus ES 350 F SPORT, and the entire experience was truly amazing from start to finish. Abe Shrief assisted me with all of the insurance paperwork that needed to be completed, and he also took care of transferring my existing Sirius XM account to my new ES. The Sales Manager, Angelo Tranquellino, Finance Manager, Diane Lasky, General Manager, Eugene Woods, and Technology Specialist, Dante, all assisted with my car, and I was completely satisfied with their efforts! I would highly recommend everyone that was listed above, as well as the entire dealership Lexus of Brooklyn!

Excellent Experience

From the minute we entered the dealership we were greeted and asked if we wanted help. The salesperson that helped us was Carlos and he went above and beyond to provide us with all the information we asked for in regards to the Lexus SUVs. He sat us down and provided us with pricing and details for a lease vs. a finance. We left the dealership that day feeling extremely satisfied with the service we received. After a week of serious consideration, we returned to the dealership ready to test drive the vehicle and start the finance process. During this process Carlos has us sit with James, to go over the prices and other details. One thing that stood out was both gentlemen attempting to find the vehicle we wanted in the exterior and interior color we wanted. They searched on the computer all the available car combinations and was even patient enough to show us the color options on the cars in the showroom and outside the dealership. They could not have been nicer answering all questions with no problem. After all of this unfortunately, we ended up not being able to afford the Lexus based on our terrible credit. I appreciated the help of the team to get the price down, but they could only do so much and we understood. They were very professional and extremely helpful through the whole process and I’m disappointed that we will not be purchasing a Lexus at this time. We ended up getting a different vehicle with another company based solely on it fell more in our budget because believe me you the customer service was nowhere near the exceptional customer service experience we had at Lexus Brooklyn. During this time we will be working to build our credit and revisit Lexus as our first choice. When this lease is up we can’t wait to return to Lexus and attempt to finance a car possibly two by that time with them. We will be recommending this dealership to anyone searching for a vehicle.

I walked into Lexus to test drive the NX300 and walked out with a signed lease, and the credit goes to Alex Rabinovich who was a pleasure to deal with! Worth the 260 Mile Drive!!

**On April 2nd I took a 1 way Amtrak ride from Washington, DC, to NYC for the last 2017 Ultrasonic Blue / Circuit Red RCF on the market! This was preceded by the "Perfect Deal" set up within one phone call with Sales Manager; Angelo Tranquellino. It all went UPHILL from there too! Angelo even sent a great guy (David the Electronics Expert) to pick me up at Penn Station and bring me to the Dealership! Signed ze papers with Finance Manager Calvin Poh, who had every last detail laid out on the desk, ready to roll. Then, they took me back into their Indoor Service Garage where I saw a line of gleaming new cars all ready to be introduced to their new owners! Each car had acrilyc stands in front of them with individually named placards, that actually brought tears to my eyes! They took photos, handed me a gift bag, and David went over every option with me inside this awesome car. I even had a delicious Cappachino & Turkey Sangwiche before my 5 hour trip home. It actually felt great giving my business and money to folks who truly earned every bit of it. Words cannot Express the level of professionalism that Lexus of Brooklyn displayed for me. I am speechless that anyone could rate these folks anything less than a 4 here for Reviews! This Lexus RCF turns more heads than Stormy Daniel's on 60 Minutes! My sincere thanks to Angelo and crew at Lexus of Brooklyn (Bay Ridge) for making broken Marine's dreams come true! Semper Fidelis !

Professional Service.

This is my 3rd time picking up a vehicle from Bayridge Lexus and each time I am met with exceptional service. This time around I had the pleasure of having Yuri as my sales representative. From the first call to sitting at his desk Yuri was very attentive and listened to what I was looking for. We came to an agreement quickly once he advised me that the vehicle matching the color and interior I was looking for was available. I didnt not feel as if there was any pressure to opt into a new lease and he saved me money in the process. The transition into my new vehicle was quick and easy. I am very happy with the service Alex provided; this is my second car lease with Bay Ridge Lexus and both times Alex it was a pleasure working with Alex. He was patient and helpful as I made my decision as to which Lexus vehicle I would lease this time around. Good customer service is hard to find but I found it with Alex at Bay Ridge Lexus.

I call my experience and unforgettable one because its my first loan under my own name. Though i wasn't promised anything Olga the sales person and financing managers did assure me they would do try their hardest.sure enough they came in clutch. After two days of being anxious i drove home in my brand new 2017 ES350. They were overall very caring and went over and beyond. They didn't treat me as a actual sale. Poor Customer Service

This dealership deserves 0 stars. The worst customer service that I've ever experienced from a car dealership. I'm an out of state buyer of a used car and their salesmen Sonny Yep misrepresented and flat out lied about the condition of the car. Avoid that guy at all costs. And a general manager Eugene Woods that will not even return your calls or emails. Avoid these folks as they treat you like garbage. If you're in the market for a used car, do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership.
