Appointment why bother!

If you think you have a scheduled appointment think again! I scheduled a routine appointment for dealer scheduled service. My appointment was for 9:30am . When I arrived at 920am I was then told they were running 3 hours out. I questioned the need for an appointment and was completely shrugged off. The individual who was checking me in asked if I wanted a ride somewhere. I explained that I lived 20 miles away and he told me that it didn’t matter. He then scheduled a Lyft which took 40 minutes to arrive. The Lyft brought me home which took another 30 minutes. I was home for 10 minutes only to get a call saying my car was done and I needed to come back to the dealership to pick up my car. This resulted in me having to have my husband bring me 20 miles back to the dealership to retrieve my car. This is not the first time this has happened since I purchased my vehicle. I will be visiting another dealership for my service needs from now on.

Do to the car shortage, spent about 7 months working with Kelly. She stayed in touch and let me know when vehicles were available to test drive, and eventually was able to purchase an Ioniq 5. Thank you

Martin has always been helpful. He listens to you and follows up to make sure that you are getting the right jobs done. He always gives you recommendations on what needs to be done with no pressure. When I have a question or help getting my cars in for service or when the car is having a problem he is always there to help solve it. I would rate Martin very high.M

No Call

I had a 10:30 appointment on Saturday, May 22, 2021 for an oil change and a recall. When someone finally waited on me, I explained why I was at shop. The guy asked if I would be staying or leaving during the oil change and the recall. I informed the guy that I would be leaving and requested that he call to let me know if any other repairs were needed. I received a call from Josh a little after 2PM. I returned the call and he stated that I needed more work and that it would cost over $900, so I asked if I could use any coupons or receive some type of discount. Josh stated that he could offer me a 10% discount to complete the work. I authorized the work be completed. I thought that it was getting late, so I went to the website to find out when the service department closed. The website showed it closed at 5PM and it was 4:30, so I tried calling Josh to find out if my vehicle was ready and left a message requesting that he return my call. At 4:40PM, I decided to go to the dealership to see if the work had been completed. When we drove up, I saw my Tucson parked at the garage door. I went into the service department and all the lights were out and a gentleman there assisted me. He stated that Josh must have forgot to call me to inform me that the work had been completed. If I had not shown up at that time I would have had to wait until Monday to get my vehicle. This was the second time that I have been mistreated by the service department at this dealership. I have a Sonata and a Tucson and I will have to find a new place get the service completed on both vehicles. Would not recommend any by a Hyundai with the terrible service department.

**Be sure to go to the Coors location, the Lomas store is horrible! I purchased my first ever new car from them. I came armed with internet research and they gave clear no-pressure information through the whole process. I changed cars/coverage/financing several times including at the last minute and they accommodated me with aplomb. Love them!!!

Satisfying oil change

Oil leak

Two issues- one a complaint, the other a problem. Morning after returning home, I found oil new oil stains on garage floor; happened again on day 2. The issue is that I was charged $1375 for labor on this work. That is exorbitant for the amount of hours needed to complete the work.

Bought Tuscon in Colorado just before moving to Albuquerque. They are so kind about warranty work. Every time I have gone there, they are all super. Had an issue (rodent chewed my window washer hose) and they called to advise it wasn't under warranty and got permission to fix it anyway. Always let you know what they are doing. No surprises.

Finance people aren’t very honest

So I went and bought a new suv from these guys and the salesman was great, no complaints actually he deserves 5 stars. When it came to the financing aspect, they had set me up with a new contract and 90 days no payment, a couple days later they call me back in with a new contract, which is fine a bit more interest rate but lower payment, no big deal, they made me sign new papers but they never disclosed to me that the 90 days no payment had been reduced to 45 days no payment and I found out when I got home when I went over the contract, the worst part is I couldn’t check the new contract until I got home, since they now give you a copy of your contract in a usb. I just think it’s very dishonest to not disclose all the changes in a contract and hiding it under “just signing the new paper work”

Completely Disasterous

I made an appointment and asked for mid $ tires. I'm moving across the country in 2 weeks and I'm pressed for time. Service manager Josh said they didn't have mid $ tires in, would take 7 hours. My husband asked for tires that cost $200 more and we were told they were in stock. The work contract was signed and then I asked how long it would take and we were told "7 hours" Seriously? We opted just to have the oil changed and a surprise recall repair that we were not informed of until this time. Josh came up with over $1,000 repairs my car needed, besides the tires. We immediately took the car elsewhere for the tires and to have that lengthy repair list looked at. Not one single thing on the list was flagged by the honest mechanic. I've had it with Larry Miller Hyundai's dishonest practices. They sold my personal information to a 3rd party telemarketer who wanted to sell me an extended warranty. They also send deceptive emails that say that a customer is looking for my specific car and that they have zero in stock and they're willing to buy my car. I called and asked how many of my type of SUV they had in stock and I was told that they have five in stock. They also would send snail mail that looked like handwritten greeting cards that turned out to be nothing more than a sales pitch. I also asked them to stop emailing me and they ignored my requests. I am done with this company and I'm thrilled to walk away from them.
