easy

I bought a used Hyundai a couple of days ago. Charles had a very relaxing approach, not pushy, answered to any question and really committed to resolve any possible issue. For sure not the typical salesman. Maybe the Manager could have done a little bit more about the price, but I'm really satisfied.

Salesman was easy to deal with!

I was considering one of two vehicles - one of them was a Subaru Forester. Charles M. was my salesman. He was pleasant, friendly, honest, and easy to deal with. There was no stereotypical sales noise. I knew what I wanted and he knew what he could offer me option wise and price wise. His co-worker was also reasonable when it came to rating my potential trade-in vehicle. I ultimately chose a different brand vehicle, but only because the other vehicle had more of the options I wanted and seemed to "fit" me better for what I was looking for. However I wished Charles had been my salesman for the brand I ultimately purchased as I would have known I was getting a fair deal with no drama or double-talk. I recommend Charles and Wayne Subaru if you are considering a Subaru purchase!

Contacted Wayne Subaru after researching dealerships around my hometown. Requested lease quote for 2012 Forester Premium on April 17. Chris Heydt responded to my request, providing all numbers that made final lease price. On April 23, I decided to visit Wayne Subaru in person. Met with Chris to finalize lease deal. He did honor price given to me over the net, took me around parking lot to show me car I was interested in. All this without any sales pitch or pressure. I was completely shocked. Never experienced pleasant and comfortable car buying like this. This is my 5th leased car, so I can say I experienced already few dealerships :D This is my very first Subaru, and after treatment I received at Wayne Subaru I will return for another one in 3 years! Thank you Chris!

Down TO Earth Experience

I had a great experience at Wayne Subaru. I purchased two cars from Wayne Subaru with in 2 months. Chris Heydt was extremely gracious, he was honest and down to earth. He helped me work out a problem with the service department and made sure I was well taken care of. Hector Montero in finance was also wonderful to work with. Easy and pleasant experience, Wayne Subaru has my highest recommendations and I am sure to be a repeat customer.

Rude Service

Horrible customer service, overpriced, and I was literally taunted and called names by Cheydt who continued to brag about his family owned business and being a top sales consultant. So obnoxious!

Best Subaru dealer in NJ!

I just picked up my 2011 Impreza WRX from Wayne Subaru. Chris was fantastic. I belong to the online Subaru communities and read nothing but great things about Chris and Wayne Subaru. There was skepticism about some other area dealerships. I contacted a few dealers regarding the WRX and was immediately told I would have to wait 12+ weeks for a car. Chris responded to my e-mails in a prompt and professional manner and gave me the best deal. I waited 11 weeks from the day I sent my request and it was all worth it. He informed me anytime he had new information regarding my WRX. I just picked the car up today! Everything went along smoothly. I dreaded doing the paperwork, but there were NO surprises like I hear a lot about. The numbers were just as we originally negotiated. They even threw in my 1st service at no charge due to time I had to wait for my car. I would recommend Chris and Wayne Subaru to ANYONE looking for a Subaru. They treat you like a human being! Very laid back approach with no pushy tactics. I can't thank them enough. If you are reading this and considering a Subaru, don't waste your time with another dealer. I wish I listened to the forums in the first place. It would have saved me a lot of time and aggravation from the other dealers I visited.

Inept and lack of product knowledge sales people

3 hours of negotiation on Saturday and only on "tech" expert who can answer questions re: mp3 player inetgration and iphone usage. Make a long story short. He was no expert since what he said turned out to be wrong. After we bought the car we spent 4 days waiting for them to tell us how to rectify the problems. It took me only 1/2 hour online with a corporate Subaru customer service rep to figure it out. The dealer charged us full price for the "fix" and picking up the car was terrible. There was only one service guy there who couldn't leave the desk so I had to park the loaner and move it "behind the building". And then find my car on the lot because he didn't know where it was. It wouldn't have been so bad except that it was 7pm, dark and cold. I will never go back there again
