Service Contract Lies

I leased a Jeep Wrangler 4xe and was very happy with my sales rep Emily. However, within a few weeks my windshield developed a pressure crack going from one side of the windshield to the other. At the time I leased the car I paid $1821 for a "Platinum Plus" service plan which I was told included roadside and glass. However, when I contacted the dealership they told me I wasn't covered and all coverages were listed on the thumdrive they gave me. I checked the Platinum Plus document on the thumb drive and all it contained was the signature page and "intentionally blank" pages. I notified the dealership three times about this and they have now stopped replying. Besides the slimy nature of the blank pages on the contract, and the fact they lied about what I was getting with this contract, this is clearly a manufacturer's defect I shouldn't even be responsible for!

3 hours of pain

7/31/17 - Showed up at 8pm to pay for my truck (check in hand, no financing) and it's now almost 11pm and I am still waiting around. I guess since I'm a done deal I get lowest priority. I should have been in and out, instead I'm held captive for hours. This is an excruciating experience that could have easily been avoided. Now I wouldn't recommend that anyone buys a car here if they value their time. The free cooler wasn't worth 3 hours of waiting around.

The sales rep, Jim Fischer, showed me several Patriot packages which I test drove then helped me decide whether to buy or finance. The Patriot I leased has several additional features that I didn't have in the Patriot I traded in.

First let me begin by saying this is not the first dealership that we visited while we were shopping for a vehicle it was 1 of 6.We did not make our purchase upon our first visit it was the following weekend. We came back because Ron our sales person listened to our needs. He talked to us .Not at us. We both have an extensive business background.And, understand the importance of peoples needs. We are now both disabled and on a fixed income.So, our budget has to be closely monitored.We sat and negotiated the better part of the afternoon.And fully enjoyed the complementary BBQ which they offered. I had worked with there salesman for two weeks , he wasn't pushy just helpful . I thought if anything he would give up on me and he didn't. After two weeks the particular car I was looking for appeared on the lot , what he did was bring a few cars in from other lots for me to look at . I would go back there to buy my next car without hesitation.

At first when I walked in no one paid me any attention. I guess being young no one wanted to waste their time. My sales man came over and we started to chat. I've been to many dealerships before and they were all pushing just to make a sale, but this time was different. No personal information was gathered prior to actually going on a test drive. My sales man spent the time to go over the truck top to bottom. Finally as we sat talking numbers, I felt like I wasn't being pushed at all. They were seriously excellent. I've been telling everyone to go to my sales guy.

I purchased a new 2014 2500 dodge Ram. It was the best experience I have had in buying a new vehicle.Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable and went out of their way to make the experience pleasurable. Even the general manager was there to make sure everything went well. I left the dealership feeling like I could go back the next day and buy another vehicle. All personal should be commended.

After voicing my concerns Olivia called me a few times last night and we were able to get financing at a lower percentage rate than my pre-approved financing. It worked out brilliantly! And now I am the proud new owner of a 2012 Patriot. I got much more than I wanted and I am very very happy!
