Don't trust Sales Manager Mike
by 10/19/2018
onWorst customer experience from the sales manager Mike @FullertonCJD Bridgewater, NJ. I had a quote from Chrysler site for Pacifica available at dealership. I sent that quote through email and asked is this is correct. They invited me to dealership and told me that there are some other charges, taxes, etc. and if we combine all, quote for monthly lease will double up (yes, in fact more than double). So misleading information first place on website. However, after all negotiation, they give me a final price. It was more than 80% than what I got from website so I didn't able to finalize the deal. Next day, I mailed again asking what best price they can offer as I am interested in that car. They sent me their final quote in written which was same as they gave me during my visit. I went back to buy the car with my wife, leaving my 2 month old with grandma. We were almost at stage of signing the papers and the sales manager came back with additional $1300 of taxes. When I asked why you didn't add this one more tax other day as you already addded so many taxes to bump up price by 80%. He plainly denied that he has given that price. He said he mentioned "What if he offer that price". I accepted that also. But then I said what about mail communication just a day before where your sales rep has mentioned same price in written. He said it is his misunderstanding. Honestly, I was ready to pay even additional $1300 too if he were simply said that we forgot to add that other night. But he gave me big lecture on sales and tried his best to convince me that I as well as his own rep were dumb not to understand his words. The only thing I appreciate is the sales rep Lionel who was put in poor condition by his own boss. Feeling so sorry for him. I and my wife feel not to even stay there. So bad experience that I am ruling out Chrysler from my list.

Horrible Sales Experience
by 07/25/2017
onShort Version: We negotiated a price for a new vehicle and it was ordered. After five months wait it finally arrived (ordered 3 times due to errors). After the second error we asked to change the model and a new quote and our new Out the Door price was agreed too. I authorized the changes and the third order was placed. The truck finally arrived, this time the correct color and specifications. I came in to purchase the truck. For what should have been a quick process, and after a ridiculously long wait in the showroom, I was informed that due to a dealer mistake, my quoted Out the Door price with rebates was not "Protected", and I had to pay $2000.00 more. The Sales Manager refused to do the right thing and honor the deal. This will give you an idea of what you may be dealing with at Fullerton. No integrity whatsoever. Read into it what you want, but if honoring our agreement would have put this business in jeopardy, think twice. Yes I could have walked out but with the numerous errors in the orders and subsequent delivery delays. Further delaying delivery was not an option. The truck was originally ordered on 2/18/2017. I was finally able to pick up the truck on 7/01/2017. I also had handed over our trade in and really did not have time to shop another dealer. This is all clearly documented. I recommend you search other options. This was my worst ever experience with a car dealer-EVER.

Used Lemons for sale
by 12/01/2016
onSearched long and hard for a 09+ white audi A4 quattro, settled on one from Fullerton as the price was right and it seemingly was in good shape. Was told by the salesmen that the car had been on the lot for 59 days and was about to go to auction at day 60 and they had done 1700 dollars worth of maintenance work on the car to make sure it was reliable. I felt it would be a good buy as it seemed to have good maintenance history for the year and miles of the car. Spent almost the entire day at the dealer from 9am waiting for them to complete the sale, and handed them CASH money for a down payment. Soon as I brought the car home which was an hour and a half ride, the car started having issues. The engine developed a bad misfire and would shudder hard on giving the car any more then 1/4 throttle, then started developing a burning coolant smell. After repairing the misfire myself by regapping the already replaced spark plugs, that mind you were gapped completely incorrectly for the car's specification, I decided to take the car back 3 days later after puddles of coolant appeared to be forming underneath the water pump and the coolant level began to drop. I spoke with the general manager Dean, about the fact that the salesman did not bother to look at the mileage on the car and put an estimated mileage of 89040 on the paperwork which I failed to notice down to the letter while buying the car, while I was discussing other warranty and package options for the car with the finance manager. Since there was a major discrepancy with the mileage, the car was now out of warranty after 3 days, which was a 30 day 1000 mile temporary warranty provided under NJ lemon law. The GM assured me they would take care of the water pump issue without a problem. I received a call 2 days later from the service manager saying that they examined the water pump and cleaned the coolant off and the car passed all tests. There was merely residual coolant from the mechanic changing the radiator hoses previously. I took his word seriously and went to pick up the car after hours at 6pm that night. Upon arrival, they had no idea where my keys were located, and gave me no receipt indicating that service had been done, they merely pulled the car out front and tried to send me on my way. Upon entering the car, I immediately noticed there was a charging system failure warning on the dashboard, I had to go back into the dealership, and get one of the staff to come look at the car, upon which the car died right in the parking lot with a burned out alternator. After driving an hour and a half up, I had to drive an hour and a half back and wait for a call the next day telling me that they were going to replace the alternator free of charge. Fine, thing's happen I was ok with this. I go back 2 days later, another hour and a half drive to pick the car up. Service manager again assures me they tested the water pump and replaced the alternator and the car was fine. I get in the car, and I have a warning light on now that one of my bulbs is burned out. At that point I did not even care and just left and headed to work. After work I drove home, only to find that once again, there was another burning coolant smell coming from the engine, and puddles were again forming under the water pump. Now I have to pay to have a water pump repaired myself, as it is costing me more money and time driving back and forth to this ridiculous dealership for work only to tell me there is no problem then it would be for me to fix the problem. These people are scam artists, the GM didn't even have the common decency to call me back after my email to him regarding the problem. I would advise avoiding these people at all costs for used cars, as I will be filing a grievance with the state for negligent misrepresentation of a used vehicles condition.

onRick is [non-permissible content removed] beware ! Told me I could get all the rebates . I told him I was upside down in my car loan . I lived an hour and a half away . Told him my situation 2 times before I made the drive . He lied and said he checked with his sales manager . I drove there and first thing out of sales managers mouth was there was nothing they could do , I didn't qualify for the rebates . Do I asked Rick , why would you lie , why would u waste my time . Well of coarse a[non-permissible content removed] caught up in their own guilt had nothing to say .[non-permissible content removed]

Fantastic experience!
by 05/06/2016
onI found the car I had been searching for online at Fullerton. I called Tom and we discussed my trade in options so the next day I found myself trading in my older car and getting the newer one I had been wanting. The entire sales team that I encountered were very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. They made the entire trade in/purchase process as quick and as painless as possible. Jason Lucre, Kevin Bergeron and Tom are all great. I'd recommend this dealership and team to anyone.

Easy car shopping experience
by 04/14/2016
onWe just leased a Compass for my daughter. Super easy experience from salesman to sales manager to credit department. We had every intention of shopping around but wound up walking out that afternoon with a competitive deal that we were comfortable with through a respected local dealership. They went out of their way to loan us a gift bow and even managed to rush the plates. I would highly recommend Fullerton to anyone leasing or buying a Jeep.

onJust acquired a 2016 Cherokee Latitude and couldn't be happier. I dealt with Richard Z and it was like dealing with my big brother. No hard sale, no funny business, just cut-and-dry and a solid deal. Highly recommended!

They make buying fun and sleazy
by 08/11/2015
onDisgusting, shady. My parents spent their day working out a deal with them, my husband and I left work early to purchase the car. At the last minute they switched the numbers on us and tried to blame it on handwriting!!! Awful. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Excellent customer service!
by 12/29/2014
onHad the pleasure of working with Jeremy H. & Tom G. while searching for a used car. Both were helpful, professional and courteous! Jeremy H. went above and beyond trying to find me a car when the initial car was not for me. I would not hesitate to buy a car from Jeremy H. & Fullerton. 5 stars!

Customer Service
by 04/01/2014
onMy wife and I visited Fullerton Dodge a couple of months back and she fell in love with the Dodge Journey. It had snowed before the visit and Salesman Richard Z. put his boots on and carried a snow shovel and cleaned the car out of the spot it was parked. He came in still smiling and after a brief time we were signing on the dotted line. He has already called 2 times to make sure we were satisfied. It was a painless experience. Thanks Richard.

onI am a proud customer of Fullerton. I had the pleasure of purchasing my vehicle from Scott A. (Sales Manager Fiat S.). Scott was extremely helpful and considerate of all my requests (especially my crazy schedule). He continued to provide excellent customer service - from the inquiry call to the exciting moment I drove away in my new vehicle! The dealership is located at a convenient site and all Fullerton representatives were very professional. I would highly recommend Scott A./Fullerton to my family & friends.

Treated like Family
by 11/24/2013
onMy husband and I were in the market for a new vehicle for our growing family. After looking at a few SUV's with much patience from my sales person who was working with me on meeting in the middle with budget & needs of space we finally found one that worked perfectly. We are beyond happy & very satisfied with both experience & product. Thank you Fullerton and David G. for making us feel like family.

very nice buying experience friendly staff
by 07/03/2011
onFrom minute one to last minute, they were very "down to earthy" Scott, sales manager seemed nice, Lewis & Angelo very good Sales Staff, my husband dealt with Lewis, I dealt with Angelo, I felt a friendliness from him, not the typical "salesman" grimey feeling, I'd surely go back for future vehicles.

True to their WORD!
by 12/09/2009
onA great buying experience. Lou was my salesman and he made everything hassle-free and no pressure. He was real down to earth and made the whole buying process seamless. Scott Zadowski said that he would give me a good deal and he did. There was no tricks or catches. They took my lease return from another Jeep dealership in and sent me off in a new Patriot, HAPPY! Even the guy in the finance department was no pressure. Usually those guys are the real Grease-Balls throwing figures and math at you that makes no sense. Not Here! Scott told me what my monthly payment would be((He's the sales manager by the way)) before going into finance and true to his word...That's what it ended up being....No tricks. I highly suggest that if you are close by in the Bridgewater area, that you give these guys a chance to get you the deal you want. As long as their service department is good, I would most definitely do business here again. Thanks guys! P.S. According to my research here on Edmunds and else where K.B.B. and such....I really did get a very good deal!
