Failure to call back

by Brisoup1 on 05/28/2019

Six days ago, I inquired about a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee online. Within a couple minutes of inquiring about leasing this vehicle, Jennifer, the internet sales manager, called me. I asked her about the current money factor, diminished value, and incentives for this particular vehicle. She said she needed to ask her sales manager and would call me right back (You would think she would have this info on hand since she IS the internet sales manager) Well, six days later and still no return call. I don't want to spend my day off work siting in the Dealership going back and forth over lease rates. After reading multiple reviews on this dealership (Most of them bad), I decided to take my business elsewhere.

I would give 0 stars if possible. I was sold a used car that they said they changed the oil on, that had a stripped oil pan bolt. It also had a broken shock in the front. They had to tow it from my house to fix the oil pan issue (that left numerous quart sized oil stains in my driveway that Took me days to clean). So they said they would fix the oil pan but wouldn't do anything for the shock. i talked to Jason who was incredibly rude and kept telling me he couldn't do anything for me and he obnoxiously told me I was getting a $600 new oil pan for free. I looked up the dealer price for a new oil pan...$160 at most. So he lied to me. I took the shock and strut off that they wouldn't fix and it was destroyed. I don't even know how it got through to be sold. They 100% did not inspect this vehicle prior to selling it. So I'll surely be contacting someone about all of this. Worst experience I ever had, and I came here because it was a dealer. I also had to tell the kid who was putting gas in it to put premium in. He would have just put in regular. So from my experience this place is not qualified to have VWs. If they don't know what kind of gas goes in, how do I know they put VW 502 oil in. They also wouldn't tell me what kind they put it, and on the paperwork for the oil pan fix and oil change, it didn't say it either. The only good thing about this place is how nice Jesse and Rachel were to me, they both at least tried to look into other options for me, in the end they couldn't do anything but fix the oil pan. Jason wouldn't even check into anything for me. So Besides those two (Jesse and rachel) I wouldn't recommend anyone going here. Checked Oil the next day at work after driving 40 miles, I bought the car 12/4/18 and didn't leave dealer until 10:30. Dipstick was dry, absolutely no oil on it. Had to drive it a couple miles to a pepboys. Bought a 5 quart jug of VW 502 spec oil and had to put over 3 quarts in. $46 Drove it home, didn't see the huge puddle of oil underneath the car. So I got home went on some errands came back home and noticed 3 huge oil stains. Check the oil again. Nothing on the stick. Notice the front drivers shock sounded weird as well. So after dealer towed it back to them turns out Broken "stripped" Oil Pan Drain Bolt from oil change that they, the dealer did. Then I had put a new shock on because Jason flat just told me NO after I just asked him to look into it for me. So it still had brake issues that I was trying to get fixed from the beginning. They had to tow it a second time because of the brakes. Instead of fixing it they just put 2 new tires on. And the only way they were gonna fix it Joe Soper said I would have to take the review down. It's now 30 days later and I've only driving this car 5 days out of the 30. For 25 days I've had to find transportation to work. I haven't even made a payment yet. I've had to take time off of work because of not having a working car. I traded in a working vehicle and expected the same. Now my vehicle is at a VW dealer getting fixed the right way. I called and talked to Joe Soper who said he was as "frustrated" as me about this. So now After talking to Joe Soper yesterday 1/2/19 at 2pm he said he would call me back in 20 minutes with important info about maybe helping me pay the dealer fees to get it fixed. I called back every 2 hours and got the same story each time, that he was busy. I left 3 messages for him to call me back ASAP. Then I call around 8pm and they tell me he's gone for the day and won't be in tomorrow. I left a message with Mickey saying if someone doesn't call me back in the morning I'm going to purse the NJ Consumer Fraud Act. When I bought the car, the shock was broken the brake me were sticking and I was leaking oil from the oil change they did. So this car never got inspected for safety on its way in. So I call today 1/3/19 and no one got the message from last night so I get transfered to a manager Ray, who after telling my story too, I get hung up on. . So my original review is going back up. You have done nothing but give me problems. Consumer Fraud Act Knowing Omission When any important info to the negotiations of a transaction are withheld. So like a broken shock, the broken oil pan leaking quarts of oil. They withheld that info just to sell me an unsafe and uninspected for safety vehicle. I will not go away and I don't want the same reply from last time about how you will do better next time. There won't be a next time and I will surely be putting plenty of reviews up about this place.

Worts Experience Ever!!!!

by divik1985 on 02/01/2018

One of the worst car buying experience of my life. Don't know where to start. So went to the dealership 2 weeks ago to buy a used car but was not able to make a deal with them as the car millage online was listed 2K where as when i took the car out for test drive the actual miles was 8.5K and they didn't wanted negotiate the price for difference in miles so we left. However, got a call from the dealer today about 2 - 3 times that they would like to make a deal with me for the car. Biggest mistake should have gone with my gut feeling, but no i went back to them. So after an hour of back and forth we finally came to agreement with everything (car price and financing). Also put the deposit down for the car. But to my surprise that was no the end of it. Waited around for another 2 - 3 hours to sign the paper work and drive the car home. Kept asking the sales guy what is the hold up during that time he kept saying that the finance manager is preparing the paper working. Finally the finance manager comes out and let me know that he is ready. So me and wife go in is office thinking we going to sign the paper and go home with the car. But no that was the case. He started explaining me the terms of the sales and all of the sudden the price of the car went up from $16,099 to $16,307 and then the financing rate went up from 3.9% to 5.08%. I told him this not what we agreed upon with the sales guy. But he insisted that this the best he can do and the sales guy was inexperienced and didn't know what he was talking about. When i told him that we were outside waiting for 3 hour and someone could have came up to us tell that there was mistake he said that he was busy (dealership was empty not a single customer for past hour). Another thing they thought because it was only $4 a month increase in price that it was okay to do this as the finance manger kept saying it is only $4 more a month (yeah for 60 months adds up). Also honoring your deal mean something to. Tried taking to the so-called GM of the place no help either. Never seen a dealership change on the financing rate and price after taking the deposit. Wasted 4 hours of my time with the most unhelpful and unapologetic staff. Will never go there again in my life even if they offer the car for free. And will never recommend them to anyone. Unless you like the bait and switch deal. They have done this is past as i read through the reviews from the past after i came home. Pleaseeeee read theses reviews before you go there.

Never go here. Ever.

by Racebluer6 on 11/23/2017

Worst Dealership. I bought a new 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon on Saturday September 31, 2017 from Turnersville Jeep. Was there early, knew what I wanted and called ahead to confirm their advertised price and the vehicle was in stock. After 5 hours of the making a deal experience (where they wouldn’t honor their advertised price until I told them I’m leaving) and most all the paperwork signed(including giving them my 2013 Ram as a trade) I was told I’d have to come back another day to finish the paperwork for financing, even though there were 3 hours left before they closed. Also they then told me they lost the second key. I went to the dealership a second time to finish the financing paperwork in which I pointed out the agreed price went up. They forgot the NJ gas guzzler tax. Another $198 mixed into financing. Also they’d need my Wrangler to code the second key( which I wasn’t informed and didn’t drive there). The third day back I waited an hour for my second key that the service dept had no clue of, even though this was supposedly setup. After an hour they figured out that they had the wrong key and I’d have to come back again, when they get the right key ordered and in. The fourth time back they had the right key but they cut it wrong and I’d have to come back again! I was told by Sales Manager Mike Burgo they would give me $250 for accessories for my troubles and $150 check for the forgotten gas guzzler tax. The Fifth time at the dealership they made my second key correctly. I spoke with General Manager Anthony Metelo in which he said he’ll give me a check for $300 but I’d have to change a few of my answers on the Jeep survey to 10’s and then I’ll get my check. I updated my answers he requested to be changed in an email, online right there next to him and had him write on his business card that he’d give me a $300 check for my “10’s”. It has been a month since and after repeated calls and messages the past week to Anthony and my salesman Juan, I have not been contacted. I have purchased 30 vehicles in the past 20 years and never had to spend 2 trips yet alone 5 trips to finish buying a car. It has been over 15 hours of my time driving and waiting for these clowns and then I am bribed to give them a better review to be compensated for their incompetence. I am in no way even 1% satisfied with this dealership or even given the fake treatment that they care 1% about me. I’ve had bad experiences with Dodge/Chrysler/Ram dealers in the past(the only bad ones) and this is the nail in the coffin for them. Legally speaking, I need to know where is my $300 check if it even exists?? Great business model. Bribe customers to give a better review of a horrible experience and then not follow through once you get your updated review numbers. Jeep owes me $300 and at least a phone call or email! Update 11/13/17 Still no contact from Turnersville Jeep, but, I spoke with Jennifer, a Customer Service Representative from Jeep Wave Premium Care. She informed me that she spoke with Anthony and he stated that he was going to give me a 300 dollar CREDIT towards their dealership! (I specifically told Anthony and Mike that I wouldn’t buy Jeep parts for MSRP when you can get them for 30% less from online retailers, nor do I want to go back there for any reason, so we agreed on a check.) Jennifer said this will go towards their “Business Center” that handles these matters internally, with no further info on being contacted or updated by them on getting this resolved. Update 11/22/17 No contact from anyone. No check.

True Car Denial

by JosephP on 10/17/2017

if anyone know how true car works, the dealers register and acknowledge their cars on this site. they must list the sales price. I found a great Jeep for a great price on true car listed on this site. I corresponded and drove two hours every time being sure the car was still there and available. when I arrived it took some time for the internet manager jennifer to come to front, why because as the time mark pom the email back to me shows she was composing an email telling me she wasn't going to honor the true car certificate after i drove an hour, she had the entire day to tell me this. So i test drove it and when I explained that I expected the True Car price. They lied and told me the car was sold even after I drove it 5 minutes before. Very dishonest and deceitful. Do not use this dealership, horrible.

THEY STOLE MY TRADE-IN & SOLD ME A LEMON

by BigRank on 04/07/2017

Took a vehicle home under "spot paperwork " changed my mind on vehicle next day because of better offer elsewhere, never signed official contract. They couldn't produce my trade-in, the already sent it to auction. So they refused to give me a check for what the negotiated price of it was or bring car back. SO THEY STOLE MY CAR! They then under threat of Police action put me into another vehicle that I had to bring back four times! They put me in a LEMON! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DAVE THE MANAGER IS A [non-permissible content removed], said he would swap out with another vehicle and LIED AGAIN.DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE [non-permissible content removed]

STAY FAR AWAY FROM TURNERSVILLE CHRYSLER JEEP!

by Rubicon_Owner on 01/14/2017

I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased a new 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon from them. My experience with the sales person, management and service was total dishonesty which included the vehicle not being prepped properly (is it asking too much for windshield washer fluid to be topped off) & missing bumper emblems/inserts, I did contact Chrysler Jeep who said a "Dave" from Turnersville Jeep would return my call. Still waiting... I paid cash for the Jeep and did not receive my license plate, registration or title until I filed a formal complaint with NJ DMV. The purchase date was 11/25/2016 and I finally received my plates, registration and title on 12/15/2016 only after an investigator with the state of NJ paid them a visit. I called this business so many times during this time and they are the worst at returning phone calls. I did receive an email from an Erik Escobar saying if I received and citations for the expired temporary plate/registration, to tell law enforcement that Turnersville is working on the paperwork. I was advised by NJ DMV that if I drove the vehicle it would be impounded. I needed to rent a vehicle and Turnersville refused to reimburse me for it even though they were at fault. To make matters worse, my insurance company was required to report the vehicle as being insured, but not registered which sparked the state to take action by threatening to suspend my driver's license. Don't let them tell you all the complaints on this site are from previous management and salespeople. I dealt with Jack and Anthony which are mentioned in previous complaints. Stay away from this Dealer!

Dishonest and misleading

by Maryr14 on 01/04/2017

This is by far the worst experience I've ever had working with a car dealership. They are extremely dishonest and misleading.. they can't get the paperwork right so I had to come back to the dealership 8 different times! 8! Not to menion the finance manager screwed up all of paperwork and we had to do the contract 3 different times. I got the car in October and now it's January and I still don't have my tags. They are now playing games and want payments I knew nothing about. Don't come to these [non-permissible content removed] and save yourself a huge hassle. These people should not be working as salesman

The worst customer service ever!

by Daniel_E on 11/30/2016

I was treated like trash by VON the internet "manager". When I first contacted him a month ago he sounded nice enough. We tried working a price/trade over the phone and couldn't come to a deal. i contacted him again today and tried working a deal again a month later since the truck was still for-sale. He said he didn't have time to deal with me because it has so busy at the end of the month 11/30/16. He said I had to come in and meet with him in person to get serious. He turned very nasty and hung up the phone on me when I said I could call him back next week (when they weren't so busy) knowing the truck would still be for sale. I asked to speak with his manager he said he was the manager and the boss of the entire store. He finally said he would transfer me, put me on hold and hung up again on me again. I called back again and he forwarded me over to someone else who sounded pleasant but ended up calling me three different name to be funny. I just wanted to tell a manager the terrible service and how i will never shop at turnersville Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram. Anyone reading this should NOT SHOP THERE! Take your business elsewhere!

Chrysler Pacifica

by Rfinkle on 09/10/2016

Traded in a 2016 Honda Odyssey for a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. There is absolutely no comparison between the two. There is not enough space here to list all of the ways that the Pacifica is superior. I haven't enjoyed driving a vehicle this much in many years. Everything that the Pacifica TV commercials say is true. My salesperson, Julian Kuehnle, was exceptionally knowledgeable and made my purchase a pleasant experience and the sales manager, Dave Solomon was very accommodating. Do yourself a favor and test drive this vehicle.

Unprofessional Dealer

by Reviewer43 on 09/02/2015

I was interested in a jeep wrangler, the salesman attempted to tell me that financial institutions won't offer a loan because the vehicle had a suspension lift. I asked him to speak with his manager about it and he came back and said never mind to that. Then when we started talking numbers on payments he tried stating an $800+ payment the first time. I asked to see where he got that number and he came back with a piece of scrap paper and a few numbers written in sharpie. The salesman I dealt with was very cocky how he dealt with me and spoke down to me because I'm only 20 years old. Age discrimination was obvious in my case. In conclusion, I will never return to this dealer or recommend anyone to this dealer.

Worst dealer !!! Will contact the news soon

by Ricanbull on 07/09/2015

I have had 16 cars in my 26 years of living and I may say Turnersville by far is the worst dealer. all the people talking good about the dealer in this review must work for the company, I brought a 2011 Red Dodge Challenger ... They messed up the Taxes and charge me more had to wait for them to fix that First week of me having it The radiator blew , the sunroof modular messed up, the ABS Sensor messed up and they wanted me to pay for it after arguing them down for hours they agreed to pay, Month later The ABS modular went and the repairs were $500," I went to another car dealer and they said my car was not certified . But they said my car was certified and gave me a certified packet . So called turnersville I had to wait hours for them to fix it in the Chrysler system and wasn't refunded my money not to mention traded my car in said they were going to send my tags in the mail still have not received them managers are very rude only good thing I can say about the dealer was my salesman Charles very respectable.

Caused ne real problems

by dcamisi on 06/16/2015

I have had a terrible, terrible experience with Turnersville Jeep. I leased a new Jeep on May 11th. As of today, June 16th, they have not paid off the loan balance on the car I traded in. Apparently it's because they sold my old car and didn't take the registration out of the glove compartment. I have been getting DAILY calls from a collection agency because they think that I still own the old car; and that a monthly payment is due. In addition, I am driving with an expired temporary license plate. The effect on my credit rating is unknown and hopefully I will not get a traffic ticket while I'm waiting for my permanent plates. I have contacted them twice and each time they told me that the deal has been finalized and that the loan has been paid off, yet the collection calls continue and the permanent plates are no where to be seen. I would think that 35 days after the sale, the deal would be finalized, but apparently not. I am thoroughly disgusted with Turnersville Jeep!

Terrible

by jeepnj1 on 04/01/2015

Terrible place -- they try to coerce you into a "deal" and will not talk about the actual price of the car -- just payments -- and saying things like they can get your payments low but you would have an 84 month loan -- REALLY? I still want to pay for an 8 year old car that may or may not even be running in 8 years -- Just don't go here -- there are a ton of other Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge dealers and I be every single one is better than this place - I am only giving them one star because I cannot give them zero!

Hidden $2500 warrenty and horrible service

by thetruth15 on 02/03/2015

I bought a focus there which was great.I went to sign paperwork an my loan jumped $3700 because they added a hidden $2500 dollar and mandatory gap plus over chargeing fees.I spoke with the main GM and he told me here's a paper for refund figure it out, I was left to collect all my information and the dealers to try an return my $3700 from a third part company with no help from dealer.I also learned my trade was in auction next day before I even finished the deal with is illegal aswell as they would refuse to give me remaining paperwork which is also illegal. [non-permissible content removed] aswell as they don't pay your payoff in a reasonable time.i know two other people who are in same situation two weeks apart. The lady in finance also just covered up the tracks telling people "They just move the numbers around to get you a better deal".They also gave me high price in person over $600 more than online!
