shady business practices

I Leased a 2016 TLX from Park Ave Acura on Labor day. During the negotiation process, the salesman said they would roll the remaining payments of my old lease (3 months before maturity) to the new lease. I was also 3,000 miles above contract on the previous lease. The salesman then adds on the extra mileage fee which was 15 cents per mile, so a total of 450$.I contact the old leaser to get the over mileage fee wavied, which they waived 350 of(since I was going from a Honda to an Acura). This is where it gets shady. I find out that the payment made by Park Ave. Acura already accounted for the fee to be waived (when they charged me as if the fee was not going to be waived). There is something shady going on and this place needs to be investigated.

Good service mentality

Went in looking for an MDX 2014 with Tech. I live close by and decided to send an email. Didn't get an immediate response so I came up to the sales manager (Eric) and asked for a lease quote. I felt very comfortable during the whole process. He gave me an upfront, transparent offer off dealer invoice (Actually printed lease worksheet and handed it to me) and drove me to their warehouse to look at the vehicle. The deal seemed good and there were no surprises. Only odd moment was when the internet sales person (Alfredo) had to take over because he had answered by email several hours later. I was expecting some change but everything continued smoothly. Al was personable, walked me through contract and trade in, hassled the service guys to get the car ready and took the time to set my wife up with tech features. I left there very pleased with parkave and plan to purchase my next acura there.

Accommodating, Quick, and Smooth

Mano in sales was diligent, fast, and pleasant to work with. He was able to get us in and out in one visit under 2 hours with a test drive, trade-in, and a finance agreement. He was able to accommodate us in a complicated situation. I would highly recommend Mano as a sales rep. (Just be careful with directions/traffic if you are coming from far away.)

Sent an internet inquiry about a car for my wife and got a prompt, courteous, and very informative response. Went to the dealer, and picked the car she wanted, in the color she wanted, with the options she wanted. Not once did anybody try to push us. We would up buying a much more expensive car than I planned, but they worked with us and got us a reasonably priced deal. The experience was so good that 2 months later, I went back there and purchased a second car for myself.

Good to work with but not competitive

I got my MDX from Tony many years ago at this dealership. It was a pleasant and low-pressure environment. I decided to give it try again as I need to get a replacement car for November. I had the pleasure to work John Kim for a 2011 RDX and he was attentive and very patient in working with us. He explained everything in clear and concise details. During negotiation, he was very open and willing to work with us on the numbers. At the end, I got a more competitive deal from my Costco program and this dealership could not match the price. I would have been willing to pay a small premium to do business with them - but unfortunately, they could not match the price. In any case, I always have a good experience every time I deal with Park Ave (I used to service my MDXs here) and hope that I can work with them again in my MDX replacement.

Park Avenue Acura was the best buying expirience that I have in 30 years of buying cars....the sales staff was great...specially Dan Schapiro, no pressure tactics...no rush to make a deal and the finace deptmnt was great ...again..no pressures to buy anthing... I highly recommend a visit to this dealership and then compare their treatment and prices to others....yes I was very impress...

We leased our '09 Acura TSX in August. I have to admit that this has been the easiest transaction I have ever experienced. I accompanied my brother to [another dealership] for his next car and the dealer's first question was "How's your credit? Let me check your credit and we'll talk". Walking into Park Avenue Acura, we were surprised that there was no pressure. We checked out all the cars, we asked all our questions, we test drove the TSX, and we didn't feel as if we were being annoying. We dealt with George, who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was straight-forward and honest. I would recommend George to anyone interested in an Acura. We will definitely seek him out when our lease is done. I'd like to also thank Jimmy for making the finance paperwork go so smoothly and quickly. We weren't pressured with any unnecessay add-ons. The car was ready the same day, washed and prepped. I love Park Avenue Acura and I wouldn't hesitate to return for my next car. I have yet to experience their service center. When I do, I'll post a review.
