VIP Experience

I walked into the showroom just looking to explore my options and my situation caused the dealership to work hard to overcome a few challenges. Gregory was my salesman and the low pressure, straight forward technique was just what I was looking for. They moved quickly to find me the best price for the Audi I was looking for and at a price that I felt comfortable with. I am a repeat buyer and I know in a few years I will be back for the same buying experience. Thank you very much Princeton Audi.

Pleasant experience

It was nice to meet Lauri as soon as we entered the store. We (Me, my wife and my daughter) went there to do some research on certified A3 and A4 but ended up in buying an new A3 within 20 minutes of our conversation with Lauri. It was an amazing experience. She described all the available options in detail and with her honest recommendations. I never felt this before with any car dealer. I would highly recommend Princeton Audi and specially Lauri.

Excellent Dealership Experience

This was the best car buying experience. Zak Asad, who assisted us from the beginning to the final purchase for about 2 weeks, was always very curteous, professional, friendly, and made us feel that he went out of his way for us. We are extremely happy with the way we were treated and the quality of the service provided, and are convinced that we got a very good deal on a very good new car (2016 VW Passat). I highly recommend VW Princeton.

Pleasant car buying experience

The team here and in particular sales person David K are extremely professional and courteous. From the sales portion to the signing of the paperwork the team made me feel comfortable. David along with his sales manager Tom helped me find the right car to fit my needs. I had gone to another dealership who did not think in my best interest and after having a bad taste in my mouth regarding the past Audi experience, my friends at Audi Princeton not only made up for it but exceeded my expectations. With a personal and caring touch David K made my buying experience a pleasurable one and without stress. Out of all the leases I have had in the past 12 years, with another luxury dealership, and car purchases my husband and I made we never had anyone treat our experience as if it were their own.

Tajh Harvey was a huge help in getting me my VW Jetta lease for a reasonable price. He worked hard on getting a reasonable price and worked with my mom in getting me the car. I currently work in North Carolina, and money is tight for me as a teacher,so we had to go back and forth through email and he responded in a timely manner. When my lease is up there is a huge possibility that I will purchase this car and I would like to go through Tajh. He worked hard and had knowledge about the small details of car buying. As a 24 year old female I would never go to a dealership by myself but I would recommend people to see him, because he is down to earth and will be honest with you.

Positive experience with used car purchase

My recent purchase of a 1999 Porsche 911 C4 with 150K miles was very positive. The salesman, Chris Riches, was great - very professional and up front about the pricing of the car and the fact that they were selling it in "as is" condition. He was also willing to accommodate my request to have the car inspected by an independent Porsche mechanic. I did not feel rushed or pressured to make a decision and I felt the deal on the price of the car was fair. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and was treated very well by everyone I came in contact with at the dealership.

Very Nice Used Car Internet Buying Experience

I was looking for a specific combination of color, power train, and low mileage in a VW. Princeton had a car that met my requirements and their internet sales manager, Nikki, did a great job of working with me remotely (I live three states away) answering all of my questions promptly and accurately. She arranged for a courtesy pick up a the train station the day I came in to see the car and her colleague, John, was there to immediately resolve a couple of minor concerns I had. The paperwork for an out-of-state sale was more than usual, but again, Nikki and John expedited it as much as possible. While waiting for the final papers to be drawn up, I was invited to join the sales team for lunch on site in their separate lunch room which was quite a nice gesture. Great vehicle, great dealership to work with. I am very pleased with my experience at Princeton VW.

Good Value offered

I have bought a 2012 VW Jetta SE from this car dealer and the experience has been flawless, the sales manager dealing with my interest was open and honest with no gimmicks whatsoever, although the pricing was not aligned to my expectations but the car definitely provided value at the price offered. The paperwork and delivery of the car was on shortest time I have experienced. Very well done and makes car purchase much easier.

Car buying should always be this easy and pleasant

For close to a year, I had been anticipating the introduction of the new Mark VII version of the VW Golf after driving the UK version of it while on a trip to England a year ago. I had been reading everything I could about it but knew that, it only recently having started production for the North American market, I faced a potentially long wait to get exactly what I wanted. After disappointing visits to two other VW dealerships, I met with Matt Rucko at Princeton VW after he replied promptly to my Internet inquiry. I already expected to have a positive experience just from talking to Matt on the phone and my visit in person was refreshingly painless and straightforward. Matt gave me the price I expected for this car with no hidden fees or padding, we agreed to a trade-in price I could live with, and he committed to doing what he could to locate exactly what I was looking for. From that point forward, things happened much faster and more easily than I had dared hope: a little over a week after meeting Matt face to face, I'm now driving my brand new car in exactly the configuration (color, options, etc.) I wanted. Paying for the car, doing the paperwork, going through the features of the car were all quick and I was driving off the lot in no time. As I look back on how quickly things came together and how enthusiastically Matt made this happen, I keep thinking that all car purchases should be this pleasant.

Princeton VW Jetta purchase

Nice low pressure experience, relatively quick to actually pick up car. Two minor issues: we did not realize as end-of-model-year sale moving car from another dealer it would be driven and have a few hundred miles on it. And there was a small tear in some sun roof fabric that needs to get fixed.

surprisingly pleasant buying experience

Was interested on a CPO Passat we saw listed on an internet advertisement. Did some research and we found the price to be pretty good. Worked with Zak and he and the rest of the staff were accommodating and not pushy at all. No games no long waiting. This was the sixth car brought through a dealer and the only time I walked out with a smile. Would shop here again.

Did Not Honor their own Internet Price

My sister was looking for a New Passat and we got what I thought was an aggressive quote and since we lived near by, we thought we go and test drive. Everything was going good until we showed them the quote, we got from them and they told us, they would not honor it. Well, we felt that was unprofessional, so we ending up buying elsewhere

Excellent Service

The experience at this dealership was exceptional. First they were able to find me the car I wanted which several dealers failed to do. Each person treated you like you were the only person in the world, focused personal attention. I would highly recommend this dealership to everyone. They kept me informed of the delivery date and when the car arrived spent the time explaining every aspect of the car which is very important. They followed up after the delivery to make sure I didn't have questions. I would rate this dealer as EXCELLENT!

Standard terms attempted but matched TMV

Inexperienced sales staff did not know their product. Disappointed delivery and pulled an after dark delivery that masked the inferior tires mounted on my vehicle. Had I caught it I would refuse delivery.

Shop Elsewhere...WARNING: [violative content deleted] dealer!!!!

I had a verbal agreement on the price for a car with this dealer, and placed a $1000 deposit on the car while I awaited delivery on a specific vehicle. When the car arrived and it was time to finalize the deal, the dealer went back on their original agreement, asking close to $1,000 more than the agreed price. In fairness, the car I put the deposit down on is high in demand, but the dealer went back on their word so that they can turn a higher profit on the same vehicle now there is more buzz and limited supply. By the way, be aware that the dealer will quickly take your deposit check, but don't expect them to be as fast when its time to refund it. There are many other dealers in the area who will get a shot at my business. Its a shame I live 0.5 miles from Princeton Volkswagen and will have to find an honest dealer elsewhere. Shame on you, Princeton Volkswagen!

Be careful of Princeton Volkswagen!

Can you believe a dealer don't even honor a price they offer to customers on the same date? That is Princeton Volkswagen. They offered me a price in the morning, and I was too naive to believe that was the price for the date and told them I would come back if I couldn't find a better deal. I called them couple of hours later to confirm my deal with them. After my lunch, I went to them and was informed that the price has been raised by more than $1,000. Their excuse: they made a mistake about the price when the Volkswagen has changed the credit program. What credit program?!, the manager didn't even dare to come up to me and offered me an explanation but to push off to a so embarrased sales rep. Did they really make a mistake? Hah, the last thing you would think of that a dealer's manager would make a mistake is price. How come no other dealers has changed the price on the same model car? Shame on them to take advantage of the customer's call and their lie. Plus, they hate cash-for-clunkers programs (they accidentally told me when I did the test drive), they will discriminate you if you want to use CARS program and push you off by telling you it will take at least 2 weeks to take delivery of the new vehicle from the date you trade in your clunker.

Internet Sales Department

About a month ago, my old Thunderbird broke down on the side of the road. I was facing the very real prospect that repairs could exceed the value of the car, and that buying a new car might, in the long run, be cheaper. (Not to mention more fuel-efficient.) I contacted Princeton Volkswagen through email with an inquiry about a Rabbit. They responded to me promptly with their current matches in their inventory, and their ability to find a car from another dealership that more specifically matched what I was looking for. The damage to the Thunderbird only ended up being an alternator problem, and was easily fixed. Princeton Volkswagen's internet department is still in contact with me, keeping me up to date about the Rabbit I was interested in. I have told them that I am no longer looking to buy, and while their emails are frequent, they are not pressuring in any way. Rather, they seem like a very professional and courteous way for the dealership to maintain contact with me until such a time that I am ready to buy. As far as initial contact with a dealership, this has been a very pleasant experience.
