Killed the deal on a CPO

onWent in, made the deal. Took the Q5 off the lot and the A/C failed. Brought it back immediately, they checked it out and said it was a faulty O-Ring. And they ran out of refrigerant. Could deliver the car a few days later. In Summer? O-Ring fail? 2k Mile car that was supposed to have a 300point inspection. Nah. Something smelled fishy. They were nasty to me and said they could sell the car for more. So we let them have it back and killed the deal. Something fishy here.

Disappointing sales experience

onAs per my recent sales experience at Princeton Audi, I would not recommend this dealership to my friends /family. Really disappointed with the unprofessional and sloppy attitude of the team that delayed my car delivery. How would one feel if he or she is told just 2 hours before the scheduled delivery that it cannot happen because finance/leasing team have not got the information they were looking for from their sales counterpart and now they need more time to process the paper work?? I was less disappointed and more surprised to see this kind of unprofessional attitude from a team representing a brand like Audi. Furthermore, how about the Finance team then gets back to you and explain that how a customer should have initiated all these things at the time of finalizing the deal and not them! Really - if that's the case, why am I even going to a dealership. Why not Audi consider selling their cars through Amazon.com!! Nevertheless, my car delivery did get delay even after lots of follow-ups and now I am not sure if I would be able to erase this experience from my mind.

onI originally did nit give this dealership a good reiew. A couple of issues that arose, changed my opinion for the better. A seriousissue was that I was driving an uninsured vehicle. At delivery i was given a temp registration, and temp insurance ID. However I never received a permanent insurance ID. A check of my policy status, showed that the Mustang had neer been added to my policy. I initially blamed the salesperson and dealership. After some investigation it became apparent that someone at the insurance compnay dropped the ball. Yesterday (Tuesday 11/27/2018) I took the vehicle for the mandatory state inspection. The vehicle passed, but had developed a serious coolent leak. I called Lauren Waldrop and explained the situation. She immediatly offerd to have the vehicle fltbedded to the dealership. However I live about 50 + miles from Princeton. I do live only 4 miles from a Ford dealer. Lauren told me to take the vehicle to the Ford dealer, and have the service department contact her once they knew what was leaking. In my opinion, Audi of Princeton redeemed themselves.

Be wary, they lie

onI previously composed a review of thus dealership whiich was not outstanding. Today I found out that I was lied to about my auto insurance coverage. I took delivery of a 2013 Mustang convertible on Novv 3, 2018. At the time of delivery I was given a folder that I was told included: bill of sale, temporary registration and temp insurance ID card. I have been awaiting the permanent insurance cards. Yesterday 11/22/2018, yes on Thanksgiving the regular license plates arrived at my hime via FedEx. However no ID cards. I tiok a look at my auto policy online today, and no Mustang covered. Essentially I have driven the vehicle without insurance. These folks are BAD NEWS!!! Purchase a vehicle somewhere else!!! I gave them 1 star as you are unable to give less.

onI took delivery of a 2013 Ford Mustang convertible on November 3m 2018. On the sales order/contract I specifically instrcted the following: the vehicle had to be detailed inside & out, no dealer identification, and a full tank of fuel. Well I got 1 out of 3. The vehicle had a full tank of fuel. As far as the detailing, the outside was gorgeous!! The inside of the vehile was left dirty. The carpets had been vacuumed throughly, the dashboard had not been cleaned and treated with an Armorall of like product, and the dashboard was still dusty. Either thepeople who detail the vehiles at the dealer do not care, r they thought used vehicle or a good job was not reqired. I found that the staff while pleasent to work with was nit terribly responsive. I purchased an extended warranty for the vehicle, and requested three time for the specific coverage. I was not given the specifics until I was sitting with Mr. Gonzalez, the finance person. If I had not demanded an inspection of the vehicle by another dealer, I would have been sold an unsafe vehicle. The vehicle needed: new brake rotors, suspension repairs, steering parts repair, and the convertible top was out of alignment. Audi took told me theyn took the vehicle to a nearby Ford dealer for the repair work. The inspecting dealer took a 2nd look and informed me all the needed repairs had been completed. This dealer is rated a C- by the BBB, I can understand why.

Very transparent and easy to deal with

onAsked ahead of time for a copy of the lease, money factor, residual. All provided without drama. Turned up to take a test drive, no pressure, told salesman we needed to focus on the sales price. He went away came back with a 7% discount off MSRP, that was what I was looking for, so was able to close the deal with minimal fuss. The overall process was still quite a bit longer due to insurance, financing and transferring the model from another dealership, but still very pleased.

Amazing Dealership

onAfter shopping and shopping for a new car, I kind of fell into Princeton Audi. I met Scott Herbert who was incredibly interested in selling me a car. After some small negotiation, we settled on a very fair deal (for both parties). Scott ended up being the "hands on" GM of the dealership. When I went to pick up the car, he turned me over to the capable Sales Manager, Enrico, who totally went over how to work everyting in the car. He followed that up with an email that night, plus a few days later. A totally wonderful experience.
