Scummy Dealership!

by KateLudwig on 10/04/2017

Went to look at Sequoias. I called, they said they had atleast 4. Drive 30 minutes. Got there and could not find any on the lot. Had to sit down with a sales guy while they checked with management if they could find any. Sales guy asked my for my Social security number. I said no, why would you need that, I told you I am paying cash? Totally jerked me around so I just got up and left. A true [non-permissible content removed] dealer experience!

Great Experience

by danet5 on 10/03/2013

Shore made my recent trade-in and buying experience a top-of-the line, fantastic experience. I worked with Blake G. to trade-in my vehicle, and he was able to get me out of the dealership with a new one only 3 hours late with a deal that met and went far beyond my satisfaction. I have also made previous service trips to Shore with my former truck, and each one of those experiences were the same as my recent one with Blake. Shore is effecient, honest, and straightforward with their business and that is exactly what I expect and appreciate in a dealership. There is no doubt that I will be working with Shore for all my automotive service/purchase needs for a long time to come. Dane T. [Email address removed]

One thing I hate about buying a car is that it takes hours and hours!! My last experience at Shore Toyota was excellent! Excellent deal and in and out in no time.

excellent service

by ashleex123 on 01/05/2013

I went in with the immediate need to purchase a car. Unlike other dealers I had been dealing with, Shore Toyota was able to get me into a car and take it home with me that day, even with my little to no previous credit. All the sales people were extremely friendly and happy to assist me!

GREAT

by Mitch74 on 11/13/2012

My experience was a positive one in which the entire Shore Toyota team worked to get me the best possible deal. Oscar was friendly, calm, and allowed me to make the decision on my own without feeling pressure. I would definitely recommend Oscar and Shore Toyota to my friends & family.

Fair Price, Little Pressure

by elman1952 on 10/30/2011

We found the vehicle we liked from Shore's website by searching their inventory. We called to schedule a test drive. The salesman was very knowledgeable about the features of the vehicle and patiently answered all our questions. When we told him we wanted to think it over for a few days, he respected our wishes and did not try to pressure us to buy that day. When we decided to try to make a deal for the vehicle, we made an offer at dealer invoice and agreed to a price just over invoice and got 0% financing. We were very pleased with the entire experience.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!

by ville355 on 12/18/2009

Found a highlander online went in and looked at it. It was nice what I wanted then we sat down for numbers. They did agree to sell for the price I wanted at 21,800 but then threw in a bogus $1900 on top of it because the vehicle was certified. I called toyota corprate and spoke with 2 diffrent people that said this is not acurate. Toyota corproate does not charge you for the vehicle being certified. They would not let down on the $1900. They gave me three diffrent reasons for this added $1900. None of them made any sense. So I went to [another Toyota dealership] and the difrence in companies was amazing. It was a breath of fresh air compared to these [violative content deleted]. Not only did I get the same exact to the tee vehicle for $20,000 but they offered me $6000 more for my trade in. These people are [violative content deleted]. Do yourself a favor and dont waste your time with them!

Highend to Hybrid

by ashleynkyle on 09/12/2009

We have always been high end vehicle owners... Lexus..BMW.. ect, but we really want to do our part for the environment, and reduce our carbon foot print and not depend solely on gas! My husband and I did our research before we purchased our new vehicle. Not only did we research the vehicle, but the dealer in which we would also make the purchase from as well as have the vehicle serviced. I will admit I was a little nervous visiting our local dealer (Shore Toyota) after reading some of the reviews. However I figured I would give them the first shot since they were our local dealer, and if something were to go wrong they are right around the corner. I visited Toyota.com and "built" my own 2010 Prius with the goodies I must have. It then sent my Prius order to several surrounding dealers in addition to Shore Toyota. I must say Shore Toyota did get back to me faster than I had expected. I told the sales consultant I would like to come in the next afternoon for a test drive. They also informed me the Prius I wanted was there, however if it were to sell they would be able to get me "my" vehicle. I was a little weary at first but my husband told me what do I have to loose? When we arrived the vehicle had in fact been sold, however they had one there in the color I hate more than anything (Gold) I took the vehicle for a ride, which to my surprise it had a lot of pep and I was truly turning heads I felt like! I placed my order, and waited!......I receive a call about a week later. My Prius was there. I was so excited, and could not wait to get my new car!! I'm so happy I listened to myself and gave you guys "Shore Toyota" a chance. My overall experience went better than I hoped and the Prius has really surpassed my expectations..The customer care manger let me know I would be receiving a survey, and if I could rate them how I felt they did. All I can say is keep up the good work, and I look forward to using the service dept. Thanks Again, Ashley & Kyle Madden

I Moved Forward With Shore Toyota

by garyb523 on 09/10/2009

Timid at first - I purchased my first Toyota through Shore Toyota. Being a previous loyal Honda customer I was weery upon bad experiences at surrounding dealerships, just as most everyone may have had at some point with any purchase. I can proudly say I am confident with my Venza & it's daily advantages it offers to my hectic work schedule. I have owned my business for over 15 years & was not interested in wasting my time. Doing slight research via the web & surrendering to contacting the internet department, I found the ladies to be most helpful & just as promised per my phone call, an organized appointment once meeting my Venza specialist. Keep up the good work - it does not go un-noticed

A Refreshing Car-Buying Experience at Shore Toyota

by nick1026 on 09/10/2009

About ten months ago, I decided it was time to trade-in and upgrade my 2001 Ford f-150 with 112,376 miles on it. Although it served me well, the F-150 still had its fair share of problems as it struggled to break the 6-digit mark: fuel pump, motors for the power windows went, alternator gave out, etc.I usually am very meticulous when buying a vehicle because I want to buy one that not only is fairly priced, but priced in relation to how long it will last me. So I decided to look towards the import offerings for my replacement truck, which had to withstand a rigorous life of towing a ten-foot trailer for my landscaping business, after seeing how my wife's Toyota Camry effortlessly surpassed 200,000 miles with relatively little problems. So I first tried the Nissan Titan, but the 5.6 still felt extremely anemic and the interior felt like my two-year-old son's Fisher-Price plastic toys: cheap, fragile, and relatively revolting. I knew I could never live with that kind of truck, no matter how much money that pinned to the hood just to move them. So then I narrowed my search to the Toyota Tundra, but living down the shore left me with three choices of dealerships to use: Vineland, Turnersville, and Shore Toyota. First, I never really had the time to visit the dealerships at first because my business kept me out of the house from 7am to about 8pm everyday, so I used the internet department at vineland just to check out what inventory they had and what kind of pricing they could give me. I submitted two inquiries, and it took them three months to finally get back to me! Unbelievable! So, when I had a job in Deptford, I figured I would hike the rest of the way and go to Turnersville where they have an amazing selection of cars and trucks to choose from. However, the customer-serivce I would rate 2 out of 10, since it took nearly 45 minutes for a sales person to finally assist me. The only problem was that they weren't willing to really let me drive the truck and put it through its paces like I wanted to, so I left annoyed and frustrated. I took a break from searching for a new truck, until finally I decided to try Shore Toyota a shot after a five-month break. I printed out the quoted price that Vineland gave me which was about $500 over invoice, and copied it and submitted it to Shore Toyota's Internet Dept. Instead of waiting months for a price quote, I was contacted via email and phone within about an hour! Then, two women proceeded to follow-up with me in reference to my inquiry: Jessica and Vicki. Both of them were a pleasure to work with, since they told me they had a good availability of Tundras to choose from, even after describing to them that I wanted a black Double Cab 4x4 with the 5.7 and the upgraded towing package. I told them out front I was shopping for the best price and both of them worked with me for several days assuring me that not only did they have the truck in stock, but that they would match or even beat Vineland's quoted price. I figured I had nothing to lose, so I took the 45 min drive up there to see what they were all about; good thing I sacrificeda little time! Unlike Turnersville, the truck specialist, Randy came outside immediately to greet me, and he asked me to come inside. After sitting down, he offered me coffee or water, but I refused, and then he explained exactly what was going to occur step-by-step, their 'process.' I obliged and handed my keys over to him and told him that I wanted to know how much they would give me for it, and that I was already working with Jessica and Vicki in the Internet Dept. He said that wouldn't be a problem, and excused himself to go get one of them as long as they were available. So first Jessica came out to speak with me briefly about how Randy was the truck specialist and would be going on the test-drive with me. I told her it was okay, and then even Vicki came out to say hello as well, which was fantastic, since I never even saw regular sales

Ripoff

by john23tc on 08/13/2009

After communicating with Danielle over the internet I decided to come in for a test drive of the 2010 Prius. Salesman went through his speil the whole time I was there, didn't answer my questions, etc. I had recieved a quote over the phone from Danielle for sticker price. When Randy (salesman) came back with his supervisor I received a price of close to $28000 for the Prius2 that has a sticker of $23000. The $28000 price didn't include the tax and tags. There was market value price adjustment of $3500 and othe misc. crap that raised the price another $1000. I got up and walked out the door. Do not do business with this dealer unless you want to overpay for a vehicle. I have had many other friends who told me to stay away but since I was dealing over the internet to get my price I thought it would be different, but it wasn't. They acted like they didn't know who Daniielle was. I went down the road and ended up up a nice Honda Insight EX for $22600 out the door, and love the car.

Bad Bad Bad

by jersey_girl on 07/25/2009

Pressure to into coming in by never returning your phone calls. They "just sold" the car you discovered on their website inventory and try to sell you a more expensive one. Excessive "dealer fees they cannot do anything about". Will not give you a quote over the phone or through email. None of them know what the other is doing.
