Waste of time and money

by lms3 on 12/23/2010

Do not go there! I bought two cars from them, and returned both. They both had oil leaks. One would think that a dealer would service their cars before putting them on a lot. Instead I had to bring it to my mechanic to find it out. When I brought the cars back, they tried to tell me that they are not oil leaks, but I think that an experienced mechanic knows an oil leak when he sees one. I returned the cars and all the paperwork and thought that I would just get my refund check in mail like I was promised. The salesperson John Sasselli even showed me where he had made a note in his calendar to send me back the deposit two days after I returned the second bad car. However, instead of the check, on that day the dealership mailed out a "thank you" letter to me for purchasing a car from them. When I called for a check, I was told that I can't get my money yet unless I prove them with a cancelled check that they in fact do have that money. I did that - within 10 minutes I e-mailed them a cancelled check copy. When I had not gotten a check a week later, I called again, asked to speak to a manager. I was passed around to three different people, the last one of whom told me that their policy is to not mail the checks; that I have to come in to pick it up. It is ½ hour from my home and I had a sick toddler. However, they had been holding my money now for two weeks since I returned the second car. I need my down payment money. When I drove there today, they asked a manager and now all of a sudden they could just hand me the check. No signature required, nothing, of course. Are they really that cheap that they can’t afford the first class stamp to mail it to me, but instead make me come with a sick child from PA and pay the gas and tolls? Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable dealer where the employees do not lie to their customers.

Glad I bought at Matt Blatt, good car, good deal

by chattanoogan on 06/25/2009

I found a Chrysler 300 (used) on the Matt Blatt website. I live in Tennessee. It was worth going out of state to purchase this car. The salesperson (Ms. Nuccio) helped me get the car and arranged all of the financing. The car is absolutlely great, and I got an excellent interest rate. I was treated better and more fairly than I would have been in Chattanooga. Online is the way to go, and this is an excellent, fair and honest dealership to work with. I have no complaints, and I would do business with them again at any time.

Steer Clear! VERY DECEPTIVE!

by shooby on 05/15/2009

After test driving a Suzuki Grand Vitara, 2008 Leftover, they proceeded to tell us it was NEVER titled! A true left over! We came home to discuss the purchase. We went to Suzuki's web page and found all 2008 Grand Vitara's are eligible for ZERO percent financing! We were very pleased to learn this and knew we had outstanding credit and would qualify! The dealer then changed the story and said the dealership actually bought the vehicle and titled it. Therefore it was not eligible for ZERO percent financing! The carfax report said it was never titled!!! This dealers story changed faster than the weather!!!!! My wife loved the car so we bought it anyway... Only to find out there were no floor mats, no owners manual and no second key.... Long story short... After about 60 phone calls, 1000 lies and stories, we finally got VERY used floor mats(Stained!), one second key fob (Unprogrammed) no second Key and a used owners manual!!! I had to walk out becaus I was getting ready to get violent against our salesguy.... FRANK ANTHONY! A [violative content deleted]! The car sold itself! there was no need for all the bull!!!!! I told him up front but the B.S. just continued!!!! These guys are the worst! I'LL NEVER GO BACK! I was suppose to go back to get a key! I opted to go to another Suzuki dealership and pay $26.00 to have one made! That is how much I refude to do business with them!

Car Shopping Review

by haradbl on 03/10/2009

I actually ended up at this dealership through an online lending service stating that this dealership was excellent in working with people with no so wonderful credit. I figured I would give it a try. All I really wanted to do is find out if I could get a rate that was not out of control. I understood that I wouldn't qualify for a 0% or one of the other low rate offerings. What I didn't expect is a 15 - 20% offering and try to get forced into a car I didn't want. The sales person knew that I was just coming there to see about the rate, that I was NOT going to buy that day. I had already made arrangements over the phone and in email on what my intentions clearly were. Obviously, they didn't really care about that. I ended up wasting about 30 minutes (as I would not stay any longer than that) and walking out.
