frustrating exoerience

As a very serious potential buyer I stopped in and a very nice salesperson named many greeted me.He was not only polite but knowledgeable. The frustrating part is that when looking online at their cars this dealership unlike other Cadillac dealership insists on adding 3k to online price of vehicle I am interested in bc I am not a Cadillac owner. This policy is absurd bc I guess they don't want to build their customer base and welcome new potential Cadillac owners . It also hurts their sales team! Sorry Manny I really was hoping to buy a car from you.Thank you for your assistance and efforts.

Very Dishonest and unprofessional Dealership!! STAY AWAY!!!!

HORRIBLE!!! They are the worst!!!!! Don't trust these people includes their management regardless of what they tell or promise you even if they confirm you by writing. These guys are very simple lying to their customers, scam them, wasting their time and then back up from the deal!! And all that is backed up by the dealership management! Ashley (the sales person) promised and confirmed me by writing to provide the rates fits my budget for deal on the specific Escalade, but when after I spent about hour and a half of driving to the dealership came in, they have provided to me completely different car fully scratched and missing some required accessories/options. And after all that, they backed up from their offer and raised the rate of their original and confirmed offer. They stated that they made a mistake in calculation of the taxes!! Sounds like a joke!!! They are unprofessional, dishonest and wasting time of the customers for nothing with their promises. The management doesn't care about customer service and about promises of their sales managers. I tried to contact the Sales Manager a few times to tell him about my horrible experience with his manager Ashley, but he didn't care and never replied to any of my emails. Not only do they have poor customer service but they DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR TIME!!! I wouldn't recommend this place and would not ever go back, they are a total bait & switch operation, and are a shining example of why people HATE car dealerships. Worst experience at a Cadillac dealership ever. GM/Cadillac should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this sorry excuse for a dealership.

Great Customer Service!

I have always leased vehicles, but this is my first Cadillac and Kristina couldn't have made the transition easier, we looked at numerous vehicles and she was so patient with me - made sure I had everything I needed and wanted! She was amazing to work with and the entire team at open road is just great! Thank you for everything.

Kristina! Excellent client advisor!

I have been leasing cars from Cadillac for the past 10 years. Mr. Tom Jackson is the most professional and respectful client advisor I have ever dealt with. I wish more of the male advisors would take after him. His treatment of women is exceptional and he will always leave a lasting impression on me. This past month when I was in for an oil change, I wanted to see how many payments I had left on my lease, but Mr. Jackson was off that day so I was introduced to a wonderful young lady, Kristina Stepaneko. Honestly, it was so nice to deal with another woman. She had a warm, friendly personality and was more than willing to assist me with my questions regarding my lease payments. She made phone calls for me and was extremely proactive in helping me get answers to several questions I had. After finding out my payment schedule, Kristina gave me some options that I was not expecting about turning in my car early. I was highly impressed with her knowledge about the cars, financing, and various options that I could consider. Kristina gave me time to consider what I wanted to do as far as turning in my car and what I would do next. She was professional and spoke as a woman in charge! Kristina gave me her personal cell number so that I could text her and contact her about my decision. I appreciated that very much because I am a teacher and cannnot access phones easily throughout the day and have private conversations so texting is the optimal way for me to communicate with people during work hours. After deciding to go with the deal Kristina put together for me, I would highly recommend Kristina to my family and friends. I also expressed my concern that I was not working with Tom Jackson, and wanted to make sure he knew what was going on. I felt Kristina was honest and was making sure she kept Tom in the loop. I have always worked with him and was planning on doing so for my next car. I was very happy meeting a new client advisor and grateful that Kristina was able to handle my demands. I appreciate the hard work and effort she put into making the deal go through. Kristina has followed up with me several times to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase, which once again shows me her professionalism. She is an asset to your company, and I hope she is appreciated by her fellow workers and managers. I thank Kristina for making my transaction fun and enjoyable! Well done Kristina!

Easy Lease

When my SRX lease was up in December, I went to my dealership to turn it in and start a new lease. I loved my car and just wanted to lease another one just like it. I had heard that the dealership had changed ownership, and had received several calls from the new owners. Right before New Years is when I made an appointment with Manny, a very friendly older gentleman who seemed to know everything about Cadillacs. He helped me return my old SRX and shop for a new one. Manny showed me a few to chose from and I was happy to find one that I liked on the lot. Emilio, the manager, was able to keep me a just about my old payment and I drove away in my new SRX. It was very easy and pleasant. It took a few hours, but they were very busy with people who apparently had the same idea that I did. I waited in the lounge and ate cookies and drank coffee while I waited for my paperwork to be completed. Over all, I have to give them a five star rating.

Hidden Gem for Used Cars

Open Road Cadillac is a hidden gem for used cars!! I dropped off a friend at the service department and passed a large selection of luxury used cars. I guess all of the local rich people get tired of their toys and trade them in for Cadillacs...LOL. An Audi Q5 caught my eye because I have been looking for one with pretty low miles. Instead of dropping off my buddy and leaving, I stopped in an asked about the Audi and took it for a drive. It was PERFECT and only had 21,000 miles. I left a deposit on it and drove home to get my wife (who the car will be for). She loved it, too, and we bought it that day. As it turned out, my buddies car needed a new transmission. He found a used BMW 528i for a great price, too! Open Road Cadillac is like the Century 21 of cars....great selection of luxury cars at great prices. I will recommend to everyone I know. - Steve

The experience dealing with Dennis Sloylan your salesman was pleasant and unexpected. I was geared up to face a pressure sales pitch but it did not happen. He is very personable and easy to talk with and he made us feel comfortable in a possible pressure situation. I would certainly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a Cadillac.

A Very Satisfied Customer!

Open Road Cadillac of Florham Park! I would like to say that my  purchase was truly the best car buying experience I've ever had! My sales representative, Mr. Thomas Jackson, informed me as to when my vehicle would arrive and I really appreciated it. When I first spoke to Larry Jacobs, the GM, I felt like I was talking to an old friend. Also, the financial process can be an harrowing experience but David the Business Manager, was delightful and also very professional!  Dennis, my Sales Associate, although he was ushered in at the very end was most impactful. I found out that he loves his job just as much as I love mine, and it shows. He's certainly a GREAT asset!  My first Cadillac and it's AWESOME!!!   I'm so happy with my new vehicle! I smile every time I get into my car not only because it's AWESOME, Oh I'm being redundant, I stated that already; I smile because the WHOLE experience, the Service, AND the Professionalism was "A Class" all the way! I will tell anyone, if you're looking for total care, you'll find it at Open Road Cadillac of Florham Park! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

New Escalade from Open Road Cadillac Florham Park, NJ

The best overall buying experience I've had. I've owned several different 'makes' & 'model's, but my experience - from the time I walked into the dealership, to the day my family and I drove off the lot . . . it was Gold Standard all the way around. Our new Escalade ESV is top notch, but it was the service and level of attention we experienced at the dealership, that set 'things' apart. I would highly recommend the new truck, and purchasing it through Larry and his team at Open Road Florham Park.

Awesome Experience

I recently bought a 2000 Cadillac Deville from Open Road. The car was/is absolutely beautiful. But I want to talk about the service and treatment I received when I went to go look at this car. I spent the previous two days running all over NJ, NY and Pennsylvannia looking for a car. I was on a budget and was frustrated with the lack of quality in cars, and the integrity of dealers that I had met in that time. I was ready to give up when I came across an ad on a website for a 2000 Cadillac Deville at Open Road Cadillac in Florham Park. I called ahead and went straight there. I met David P. van Heerden who asked me to treat myself to a cup of coffee and a bagel while they brought the car around for me to look at. From the beginning of the process to the end, I was treated like royalty. It did not matter that I was buying a car that was 15 years old, they treated me like I was there buying a brand new Cadi. I met with Scott to go over all the paperwork before picking th car up and the experience was the same. These guys are a class act, and I would recomment them to anyone looking for a new or used car, because either way you will be treated like a VIP. Ask for David, and tell him Tommy sent you. It's the least I can do to say thanks...

Outstanding Buying Experience

My husband and I purchased a gorgeous vehicle two days ago at Open Road Cadillac. The experience of EVERYONE at the dealership was very professional. David, Dalton, and Scott made us feel like a member of their Cadillac family. We have bought many cars from other dealerships and HANDS DOWN our experience at Open Road was absolutely the BEST! I have already recommended the dealership to a friend of mine that is interested in an Escalade. She saw the picture of my new ride that I posted on Facebook and said she wants to get one. Outstanding.......

I usually do not write reviews, but after a car purchase more recently I do. Most individuals write reviews to complain about the buying process. I decided this review is to try to balance the scales. I am a car enthusiast and either have owned or currently own high end autos. I was interested in purchasing/leasing an 2015 Escalade and get out of a uncomfortable Jeep lease. I have dealt with the Open Road family of dealerships in the past, but the service, attitude and friendliness surpassed my prior experience. Everyone from my salesman, David, the general sales manager, Larry to the general manager, Paul were very professional, amicable and made the sales process seamless and less painful. Within three days, could have been two, but didn't want to take delivery on Friday 13th, drove away in a magnificent 2015 Escalade. Kudos to all of the staff..would definitely recommend you to my colleagues, friends and family that are interesting in purchasing a car.

Top of the line Professionalism

From the minute I walked into the dealership I was received with warm welcome and hellos. I was there to see the all new 2015 Cadillac Escalade. My husband and I are in the market looking for a family size SUV. We were greeted by Julian. He began by welcoming us to the all new Open Road Cadillac. My husband and I had no clue about the new ownership. But one thing is for sure, I could instantly see why. Everyone was happy upbeat and welcoming. Julian took us around the lot to show us all their inventory and showed us one Cadillac Escalade they had in stock. He said they were hot items, and if they did not have the one I wanted that I could most certainly order it. He introduced us to his managers and even they were friendly and not pushy at all. They understood I was just out looking, and since its a big purchase for my husband and I, that we need some time to discuss it as a family. We loved the way we were treated, if we decide on this vehicle this is definitely the Cadillac dealership to go to.

Outstanding Customer Service

I recently visited Open Road Cadillac as the lease on my 2011 CTS was coming to an end and I was interested in leasing another Cadillac. This was my first experience with Open Road and I must say they are quite an impressive organization. It was clear to see their focus is on the customer and meeting all of their needs. It was by far the most pleasant buying experience I have ever had. I had researched the specific vehicle I wanted before going to the dealership. They were more than accommodating in selling me the exact car I had my heart set on, including the special detailing I was looking for. I felt my salesman was very attentive my needs and concerns. We were able to negotiate the terms for the purchase of the vehicle to my great satisfaction. I purchased a 2014 CTS Coupe and the detailing turned out amazing. When I went in to pick up the car I found the staff to be just as focused on customer service as the day I purchased the vehicle and I have no doubt that quality of care will continue with the servicing of my new car. I can't image myself driving anything other than a Cadillac and my overall experience will undoubtedly keep me coming back to Open Road Cadillac. I would just like to say my Salesman Cristofor and the Business Manager George made my buying experience a pleasure. They were well informed and took amble time in answering all of my questions. My last thought is that with General Sales Manager Justin Patel at the helm and leading the dealership with his impeccable focus on customer service, which I experienced first hand, there is only great things ahead for Open Road Cadillac and I am happy to be one of their loyal customers.
