Love this place

by Hbollerman on 03/12/2018

I love my new Nissan Rogue. I couldn’t be happier everyone over at Windsor. This was my first car purchase on my own and everyone from my sales person, the sales manager and finance manager were all incredibly nice and guided me through the process so that I felt comfortable making this big purchase. Even the dealership dog was nice to me and sat next me as I signed all of my paperwork. Big thanks again to Roy, Mark and Ed.

Excellent experience

by lorleigh on 10/13/2017

The sales manager, Anthony, and salesman, Roy, made the car buying experience positive. They we're very accommodating and I was able to get an excellent purchase price. I will definitely purchase my next Nissan from them, even though they are not the closest dealership to my house. -Loreen

Amazing finance manager

by Dgreenenj77 on 08/26/2017

I had a turn of bad luck almost two years ago. I left a high paying secure government job for the chance of learning a new area of law and building a practice at a small firm. The owner was dishonorable and it didn't work out. Out of the ashes I built my own firm which is now thriving. However my credit is not good anymore and won't be for a long time. I already bought and leased several cars from Windsor Nissan and have high respect for them. That respect and loyalty has deepened ten fold after meeting and working with finance manager Ed Reardon. Ed had a single minded commitment to make this deal work. He comes from a time when credit decisions were based on an evaluation of the big picture of a persons story rather than computer analytics. We had been turned down several other places and always treated with a certain amount of disdain by other dealerships. Ed made it his mission to find a deal that would work for us and leave my wife satisfied in a safe and dependable car she wanted to drive. Today we left the dealership with a new 2017 Nissan Altima SR. My wife is thrilled. I don't believe we will ever buy a car from someone else. Certainly not as long as Ed Reardon works for Windsor Nissan. From the bottom of our hearts we offer our sincerest thanks Ed, our salesman Reuben, and the whole Windsor Nissan team.

No after sale support.

by TrentonChris on 02/20/2017

Got a good price on a car and the salesman was fine, problem is if you need any after sale help or questions answered they won't call you back or return emails. Windsor screwed up my paperwork, I wanted to talk to someone about it over the phone. Called and emailed the finance guy, sales manager, owner for a two week period, not one single reply. Stopped in and finance guy made a copy of my paperwork, said he would take care of it. 6 week later, certified letter from Nissan, finance guy never did anything. Called and emailed the finance guy, sales manager, owner for another week, not one single reply. Had to go back in to the dealer to get everything resolved. A simple returned phone could have saved a ton of time, not sure Windsor Nissan cares about after sales support.

Run, far away!

by Kira933 on 05/14/2016

First of all, [non-permissible content removed] coerced me on the phone to drive almost an hour to get to them. They assured me over the phone that I was approved. Then [non-permissible content removed] told me I needed $2500 down! Which is it??? I discussed with them over the phone that I wanted $0 down. So I drive all the way to Mercer County from Camden County to be majorly disappointed!!!The customer service sucks! I was sitting at a desk for what seemed two hours, while all the [non-permissible content removed] were helping other people that had just walked in!!! Are you kidding me??? I was not shy with my mouth either. I got denied and they said a cosigner would help lower the $2500. Really!?!? They wasted my time and theirs, and didn't even offer me a penny of gas money!!! The worst experience

by Khg2269 on 12/04/2015

This is the worst car dealership that I ever did business with. I'm 79 years old and they sold me a car that I never driven. I was supposed to be the cosigner in the deal but they fixed the paperwork for me to be the owner. I can't afford a $470 payment. They stink but I have a good lawyer.

We were looking for a used car for a long time. We spotted a deal to good to believe. I called the dealer to see what the catch was and we were told no catch just good prices. Excited we took the 1 hour and 30 min drive. When we got there were were greeted and quickly waited on. I told the guy what car we were interested, we test drove it and loved the car. We were ready to look into the finances when he told me the price was more then advertised on website. He said u need to read the fine print of the other fees. Ready to leave he told us. What price do u want to pay , we told him the price. He said if I can get that price will u drive the car home we said yes. So we sat again and the guy showed us the price of the car we wanted he added in some fees I asked what they were he said 490 dealer and 199 state/reg. we were fine with that. Then came down to interest rate. He ran our credit and told us we were ok not great but average , he told us the interested rate and the payment, which was a lot more then expected.. So I plugged it into my auto loan calculatot app and it was different by 50 dollars a month. Then thr dealer told us we should look at the nissan sentra. He could probably do 0% interest. I told the guy something was not adding up. He came back and said that he was not able to sell the car for the price we agreed on. So the dealer got our hopes up and ran our credit for nothing.

by happyy on 10/30/2014

I came to windsor nissan with my family to purchase a new vehicle. EVERYONE in the dealership greeted us when we walked in.. They were all very helpful and made sure they answered all of our questions. They even had toys in the waiting room to entertain the kids for a while. We got a great deal no problems and we will be getting all of our vehicles from them.

Dishonest [non-permissible content removed]

by nirajks on 08/26/2014

If Disgusting, dishonest, trickster, ill-behaved can summarize adjectives for this dealer, would be the least. This dealer sold me a lemon as-is knowingly. I bought a Jeep at 100K + mile on it, when I bought the Jeep, there was no engine light on. I bought the Jeep believing this dealer would disclose known issues with the vehicle. Engine light came on just in few days. I went back to dealer, spoke to Phill S about the issue. He blamed it on my 1 mile test drive on 4x4 low gear at 20 mph, are you kidding me! I went to service department and asked for inspection report they performed before selling me this lemon. Dealer had clearly listed pre-sales transmission problem but did not disclose it to me at the point of sale. Common, any dumb can know how to erase engine light for few days, this dealer did exactly the same trick. Phill S was very ill behaved when I asked him for a copy of pre-sales inspection report; these folks declined to hand me a copy of pre-sales inspection report. Customer service is a joke for this disgusting, disgraced, dishonest, tricksters, ill-behaved dealer, would not let any of my friend and family buy from Windsor Nissan. I learnt my lesson; do not expect Honesty and Integrity from cheap folks. Apparently, I traded this lemon within a week time and bought new car from a much better dealer. Looking at the 1 star reviews and dealer's reply shows as if they are willing to help. Gosh, but 1-star never stops coming for this dealer!

by DimaValero on 06/27/2014

The Dealer ship is very clean, the Sales people were very polite and courteous. Jaime, the Sales manager from the Internet department, was trough and trough oriented on customer satisfaction. I didn't feel like all he wanted was to make a sale. Thanks Jaime for making the purchase of my new car as easy as possible.

BAIT AND SWITCH PRACTICES

by bdenny1 on 05/08/2014

Went to lease a car in Feb, agreed to the lease terms, didn't have car ins stock, had to order it, John M took my down payment for the car in or to order it, 8 weeks later car comes in, a new sales manager Phil S appears, he says can't give you the car you ordered for that price, sorry, we want $110 more a month for the car, tells me all kinds of excuses, lille made a mistake in ordering car, they factored wrong MSRP in lease, the cost of money factor, Nissan withdrew promo to them, etc. I said this is not my problem,, you agreed in writing in Feb to the lease terms, Phil said sorry take it or leave it, your not getting the car for they agreed terms in Feb.. bait and switch, be weary of this unethical practices. Called John up several times to resolve, never had the courtesy to even call me back

I decided to lease a car one weekend and they told me that I have been approved for certain terms and rates. I signed a lease and also a document stating that the lease is conditional pending bank approval. Meaning if the bank or the dealership deem my credit rating unsatisfying, after further review, that they have the right to take the car back. Two days later, the Finance Manager called me and said that the bank approved me but for higher interest rates. So I told him that I am no longer interested and that I will return the car immediately. Before I returned the car, I went to another Nissan dealership to have my prices match. Which I ended getter a higher trim, same model car for a better price. I went back to Windsor Nissan to return the car and the sales manager and another finance manager gave me a very hard time. They told me I can not return the car because I already signed a contract. A conditional contract that was "unsatisfactory" to the bank. The finance manager threatened to bring the car to my house the very next day because the car belongs to me and that I am fully responsible for the payments. I decided to leave and while I was walking away, the finance manager decided to follow me and push all the paper work along with the car keys on to my chest and said that the car belongs to me. This dealership seems to do what is called "Spot Delivery" or "yo yo" financing fraud. Where the dealership tells you, you have been approved and will have you sign a conditional contract. Then sometime later on, they will tell you that something came up and that you need to go back and re-sign another contract. These new contracts tend to be more expensive and more beneficial to them. Those costumers who became attach to their new cars, will most likely re-sign these contracts. Those who decide to keep the car because they feel as though the deal is already final, will get their car repossess and won't get their deposit back. Those, like me who decide to return the vehicle, will be harass and threatened saying that I can not return the car because the car was already signed for.

I love my Jeep

by jluv25678 on 03/06/2014

I bought a used Jeep Cherokee from Windsor Nissan about 6 months ago. I can tell you I had such an easy experience. From when I emailed the dealership, Jenn N., got back to me right away. She even had the vehicle detailed and pulled up for me when I arrived. Paul was a great salesman who treated me with respect. I even got a great deal on the extended warranty! Yay! My next vehicle will be from Windsor Nissan

Just bought the Rogue and I love it! Windsor did an awesome job

by chenrebecca on 02/05/2014

Marcy and her team really took care of me. The dealership was easy to get to and had a great experience. I would recommend Windsor to all my friends and family to check out. Beautiful facility and they told me that I can bring my dog whenever I come back for service! My husband and kids REALLY love this SUV and my kids had a blast playing with the dealership bulldog. Thanks again for the great service and I look forward to buying my next Nissan from you when my lease is up.

very unhappy with Windsor Nissan

by shainab on 03/14/2011

I was referred to Mr. Nardine by Marci McGuire (the owner) herself and have had nothing but issues with my overall buying and service since the moment I signed the papers. Firstly, the finance person slipped in an extra $450 charge for gap insurance after he informed me that it was included in my extended warranty which I agreed to pay for because he told me that the gap was included. Second, the person who details the cars lost the second key fob and failed to actually clean the car before I was to drive it off the lot. The salesman assured me that I could come back when I had more time (seeing as I had been at the dealer for more than 4 hours at this point) and they would detail the car in order to remove the scratches that were on the vehicle, fill the gas tank (because they had not filled it) and make sure that I had a second key fob. I drove the car off the lot and had to immediately turn around because of a constant noise coming from the front of the car. I spent another 2 hours at the dealer waiting for the service department to figure out that apparently some clip had not been attached at the factory (this was the story I was given) and they had now fixed it and all was good. Several days later the noise returned. At this time, I also realized the $450 charge tacked on for the gap insurance that I had not authorized. I called the dealer and received no call back. After a day of no returned call, I showed up at the dealer (an hour's drive from my home) and demanded to speak to the manager. The service manager was not in that day but another service manager inspected the car and found that they did not have the ability to permanently fix the car so they would have to order a part. The manager agreed to send me a check for the extra charge on my bill that the finance person added and agreed that my gap insurance would hold because that was the information I was given. After 2 weeks of not hearing from the dealer about the part they ordered or receiving a check, I called the dealer only to be told that there was no part ordered, the service manager had no idea what I was talking about and the sales manager was not familiar with any agreement of a check to be issued. At this point I was so furious that I demanded to speak to my salesman. Luckily, he reminded the sales manager about the check that he had agreed to issue and then connected me to the service manager who said that they would provide me with a loaner car as they kept my car for as long as it would take to fix the issue (which was really the only acceptable option at this point). I brought the car in and was without my brand new car (that I was making payments on) for 2 days. Upon receiving it back, I drove away, finally somewhat satisfied with the check that I was promised and a car that was finally detailed and quiet. The service manager had to order a part due to the fact that one of the scratches was not able to be removed and I planned to return in a week in order to have it installed. That was yesterday. Today, I noticed that my temporary tag expires tomorrow. I called the dealership and spoke to the receptionist who said that the person who does registrations is not in on Saturday and I would have to wait until Monday to speak to him about my lack of registration. I left a message on the voicemail of my salesman and after 2 hours still had no returned call. I called the sales manager and he informed me that he didnt know what happened with my registration (not that it was taken care of and just didnt get to me..just that he didnt know what happened....) he offered me a new temporary tag if I would come pick it up which meant that I would have to drive an hour there and an hour back in order to pick it up. He then offered to have a new temporary tag sent out to me by Monday because that was the earliest he could have it to me. I reminded him that my current temp tag expired tomorrow and that would mean that I was in violation of NJ MVC laws. He told me that this was the only option. At this point I became furious and reminded him that he was basically asking me to break the law. He put me on hold and a short while later Christine picked up and informed me that they would be sending me a new temporary tag overnight. I was then told that in order to get my registration card I would have to call back on Monday to speak to the person who deals with NJMVC. Did not receive the new temp tag the day it was promised. Got a call today telling me that my registration was in and they could overnight it to me by tomorrow (we'll see what happens...) Owner finally returned my call and basically absolved everything that I said and said that I apparently "fell through the cracks" and that she was sorry but there was nothing she could do. She furthermore used the excuse of the flooding in Trenton on Friday 3/11/11 as the reason why my registration was not ready for me. I reminded her that this car was purchased a month before the flooding. Additionally, I had been in Trenton on Friday 3/11/11 across the street from the DMV and they were still there and working with no delay. She simply said that seeing as I had my new temporary tag and they were now going to send me the registration I should just be happy and forget about all of the nightmare of a mess the entire experience had been with her dealership. On top of everything, the car has started making the same noise that it was in the beginning and I really dont want to have to bring it back to them because In my opinion, they are completely incompetent. Talking to Nissan Corp about some sort of resolution....crossing fingers and hopeful that this can all just come to an agreeable end....

Nissan Altima Sweet Deal - Definitely Recommend Windsor Nissan

by kirschmitch3 on 02/23/2011

Personally, I had a really good experience buying my new 2011 Nissan Altima from Windsor Nissan over Presidents Day Weekend. I contacted the dealership through their website and I heard back with an email and phone call within 2 hours. I dealt with Sean Lucas over a few days as quickly began to narrow my selection with some specific options. I don't know who the other person is that is mentioned in some of the previous reviews, but the person that I dealt with on the internet was great. While I didn't not get a price at a first crack...which i didn't really expect since I wasn't positive on what I wanted, Sean was able to help me through the process and he provided me with the details that I asked for. Once I made an appointment to come into the dealership for my purchase, since I had already driven the Altima before, Sean matched me up with a salesperson named Mike. Mike was very friendly and picked up right where I left off with Sean. I was only in the dealership for about two hours and then I was on my way with my new ride. I love the car and I now love the dealership with the deal I got. Plus, I liked the people that I was working with at Windsor so it made it very easy to make quick decisions and get on my way. Like I said, I thought the dealership was excellent and I would encourage anyone else who is in the market for a new Nissan to buy it from here. Kirsch
