found great first car for my daughter

After a year and a half of searching for a first car for my daughter. We ran into a salesman that cares, Mark L. found us the perfect car that fit her needs and her budget. After dealing with such a helpful and caring salesman I will always make sure to send my friends and family to the dealership and Mark. Overall I am very please with our car buying experience.

Great Customer Service!

We knew exactly what kind of vehicle we wanted. When I called Performance Toyota, they did not have what I wanted on the lot. Genesis S. put forth the extra effort to find the exact vehicle we wanted and arranged to have it on site for us to test drive. Since we live three hours from the dealership, he made sure that everything was just right and ready for us before we arrived. Once we arrived to look at the vehicle, it took less than one hour to do all the paperwork and get the keys - even on a busy Saturday afternoon! Thanks to Genesis, the car shopping and purchasing experience was wonderful! We love our new Toyota!

1ST CAR IN YEARS!!

I havent had a car in sometime! nor have shoped for one i a long while. I found shopping online was the best way for me. James C. the Internet Manager is a true professional! He made the process simple. Found me a car that worked for my budget and scheduled me for a test drive. I came in the next day to finish up the deal, everything the same as we agreed on the day before!! Even the finance guy Zach G. was great to deal with he saved me over 2% on my apr that i had been pre approved for. I will send anyone i know to see James! Thanks again!

Go prepared

We had an idea of the vehicle we wanted and thanks to Edmunds we had the true market value and our expected trade in allowance. Rocky, our salesman, was very nice initially and very well versed on the workings of the highlander. Initially he took the sticker price down by 500 and offered 6800 for our trade. We said no, you are way off, and he left for awhile and returned. This went on for what seemed like a long time and we finally settled on 9300 off the sticker price of about 35000. This number was given to us after we got quite upset and told him, he know minutes after we arrived what he could do for a deal, and the rest of the hour and a half was spent trying to screw us out of more money. Toyota at the time had a 500 dollar allowance, but required us to finance with Toyota financial. This was not made real clear until we were in the business office. And the guy in the business office spent a considerable amount of time trying to sell us an extended warranty, and said the cost would mostly be paid for by him lowering the interest rate from 5.35 to 2.9. Even though I told him many times that we would be paying the loan off in months and not years, and he told us we would still owe the difference between the two fiqures so we said no to this offer. He became quite upset at this point and we actually got up to walk out, when he apologized and finally finished the paperwork. This whole process took 4 hours. My last vehicle, a new from the dealer '09 Chevy pickup, the sales process took less than an hour and a half, and I got a better deal. Performance did have a good selection of vehicles and the business was clean and well organized. We had preferred a different color and Rocky located one, but he wouldn't disclose where it was coming from, so we had to wait four days to take deliver. When I got home I checked on the internet and that vehicle was on their lot at another dealership of theirs, 40 miles away. I love the vehicle we bought, and I would go back to Performance again, but likely I'd try to get my credit union to do the deal.

Great Buy!

Tom Ballard and Rocky Collier were amazing people. They were very knowledgeable, courteous, and honest. It truly is refreshing to have people like that working in this kind of business. Rocky even came in during his day off to finalize the deal for us and showed us the ins and outs of our new vehicle. We really do appreciate his effort. Ryan in the finance department was really helpful as well by getting us the best rate possible. My wife and I really feel that both Tom and Rocky gave top notch service and we would recommend this dealership to anyone.

Sold me an unsafe vehicle

I purchased a 06 Dodge Ram 4X4 from Performance Toyota. We agreed on a price and I purchased the vehicle. I immediately took it to the Dodge dealer to have it inspected. Of course it was a Performance Dodge Dealer. Their "World Class Inspection" revealed that the truck needed front outer tie rods because there was a shake in the front end. I had purchased the aftermarket warranty with the vehicle, but they told me it didn't "kick in" for 30 days. So I took the truck back to Performance Toyota and it took them 4 DAYS of arguing over which department was going to pay for the tie rod ends!! Meanwhile, I'm without my truck. When I finally get the truck back, the steering wheel is off by over a 1/2 turn because of the rotten front end alignment they did. So I made an appointment at [another dealership] here in Lincoln to have the front end checked out. They made Performance Toyota and Performance Dodge look like rookies!! They found that the front struts were shot, front brakes and rotors were warped and pads no good. Including the alignment, it came to about 2000.00 dollars worth of repairs that needed to be done right after driving it off the lot!!! And the World Class Inspection that Performance Dodge charged me 75 bucks for went right down the drain. I had [other dealership] keep all of the bad parts so I could look at them and the struts were leaking real bad, the pads were shot and I just had to believe him on the rotors, but I could feel the shimmy when I would hit the brakes. HAVE YOUR VEHICLES EXAMINED BY AN OUTSIDE MECHANIC BEFORE BUYING FROM THESE GUYS
