Corwin Toyota of Bellevue

I'm not typically one to call out businesses, but wanted to share our recent experience with Corwin Toyota of Bellevue in hopes of preventing others from having to go through what we are dealing with. We purchased a used SUV for our 16 year old last week. We asked to see the full multipoint inspection report before purchasing and everything was checked as being in great condition. We purchased it and were told we had 30 days to decide on which warranty plan we wanted to go with so planned to take a few days to weigh the options before deciding. Within a few days of getting it home we had to bring it I back to the dealership because the engine light came on. The service department noted several things that needed to be done to repair it, totaling $4000 in repair costs (we had driven it less than 50 miles). Upon arguing with them that the inspection report showed everything was in good working order, we were told that they are not responsible for their service department missing things during the inspection. After spending 6 hours at the dealership trying to rectify the situation with their sales manager, we have had to escalate it to the general manager and are now being ignored after trying to contact them several times and leaving multiple messages. Do not buy from this dealership!! Pass it on!

I was in the market for a white Highlander Hybrid, which is a bit hard to find in this market as it's a popular color. After a bad experience at another dealership and reaching out to get a cash offer for my trade-in, I was impressed by the follow-up of the staff. My wife and I went into the dealership and ended up working with Brad Darden. He was professional, polite, and knowledgeable. He showed us the incoming vehicles and explained that there were only 2 white Highlander Hybrids scheduled for the next few months. He said he could try to find us one that met our criteria, but it'd be tough right now because dealers don't have much incentive to trade. So, while we didn't want to spend an extra $1k for the navigation system, we did so that we could get the vehicle. Kudos to Brad for thoroughly explaining the state of the market and helping us get the one we wanted. The KBB trade offer I received on their website was $9k, and they ended up making a final offer of $8,500, as there was some bumper damage I had forgotten about. The other dealership initially offered me $4k for our trade, so I was pleased to see that Corwin's offer was very fair and reflected the market. Unlike other salespeople I've worked with, Brad was not pushy at all, didn't try to sell me on warranties or financing that I didn't want, and made a fair offer for my trade. He also did a wonderful job explaining that, while he could try to find me a Highlander that fit my exact wants, it'd be tough in this market. I had to make a compromise on one of the features, but I was happy to do it to get the color, seat layout, and interior I wanted. That said, I'd highly recommend Corwin Toyota for anyone in the market, and would ask to work with Brad. You won't regret it!

I have been looking for a car for a bit. I went into Corwin and Tyler helped me. He was amazing and helped me out! He is friendly, knowledgeable, and listens to what you need/want. I would recommend Tyler to everyone!
