Huge fan to huge disappointment

I recently traded my 2022 BMW 740i for the new 2023. I only had a short time, but was excited for the redesign, so I traded (knowing that I'd lose about $20,000 in the transaction). I was ok with that, knowing what upgrade I'd get. I did so, and on day 2 of owning the 2023 740, the lane change assist and hands-free driving functions malfunctioned. 1st Disappointment: I tried to get the car back into the shop immediately, but was informed I'd have to wait 5 or so days for an appointment to open. You would think that you'd get in sooner since it's a brand new car. 2nd Major Disappointment: Well, the car sat there for about 5-6 weeks... I even made my first payment with it sitting in the shop. No one could figure out how to fix it. The dealership said that they were out of options and waiting on BMW North America to give them input. That never happened. No fix. At no time did the general manager or owner of the dealership reach out... no one seemed to care. 3rd Major Disappointment: At some point I resorted to calling BMW North America myself. There was almost no feedback and certainly no answers... I waited three weeks... every time I followed up, all I was told is that they were "researching". So, I finally felt forced to trade my new car, that I drove for three days, at another $25,000 loss. Still... no word from BMW. You go to BMW expecting good customer service. It's non-existent. In a single year I spent $650,000 on BMW products (including a Rolls Royce Cullinan), but that is not enough to get anyone to solve your issue. I'll never buy a BMW product again. If you hope for service at BMW, look elsewhere. They either do not care, or systems are so broken that they can't help even if they want to.

New BMW Customer

My wife and I just brought home a brand new BMW i3 from salesman Will Rodriguez. Our experience with BMW of Springfield was top notch. Our interaction with not only Will but Stephen Randall (BMW Genius), Tom Gray (Finance) and David in service made the buying process enjoyable. We genuinely felt like they cared about our decision and not just about moving another unit. Never at any time did we feel pressured or intimidated. They took the time to answer our questions and resolve our concerns. It's very clear to us that customer service is their ultimate goal. The level of respect and care that was put into our buying experience showed in everthing they did. We would highly reccomend BMW of Springfield to our closest of friends. We're confident in saying that Will (as well as every member of their staff) truely loves what they do. We are thrilled with our entire experience. Thank you! Mr & Mrs Cricchio
