Eager Customer - Not So Eager Salesman

Two days ago I came into the Lou Fusz Kia dealership READY and EAGER to buy a used car that I had located on TRUECAR.COM. Immediately I obtained financing through my local credit union and made an appointment to check out the car. I was that serious. When I got to the dealership, the salesman had the car all ready for me to test drive. That went okay. We proceeded to negotiate. I made a firm offer which the salesman took back to his manager and WE ALL AGREED ON THE PRICE OFFERED! All my credit union needed was the buyers agreement and I would have come back the following day with the check to purchase the vehicle. Easy right? NOT QUITE! Because I would not allow Lou Fusz to finance the car on the spot at the price THEY agreed to that evening, the salesman or dealership would not do business with me. I was even asked to leave a personal check for the full amount of the offered price until I could bring back the check the next day from my credit union. I've never felt so disrespected in all of my car-buying experiences. I offered to pay $100.00 to hold the car and the salesman refused. I explained over and over again that I had already been pre-approved and that there was no reason for the dealership to run my credit again or take me through the process. The next day, my credit union contacted the dealership to inquire as to what the problem was. A manager by the name of John Amy (not sure of the spelling) called me on my job to insult me further by saying "why would we sale you a car at $1000.00 less than our asking price if you were not going to finance it with us that evening?" He went on to tell me that because I did not finance the car on the spot, if I were to come back to the dealership now the price of the car would go back up to the original internet price and that would be what I would have to pay. How dare he tell me what I will or will not pay for a car. And how dare he treat this like a hostage negotiation. I am the CUSOMTER and I can offer what I choose to offer. Shame on you Lou Fusz!!!

Amazing Experience Buying My Dream Car

Kris Portnoy did an amazing job of getting me approved for my dream car; a 2015 Kia Soul! His customer service skills were amazing and his professionalism was great! He was extremely patient as I had my two kids with me. Everyone else at the dealership was so nice and very helpful with my kids. Even after I bought the car Kris sent me multiple emails to make sure that everything was going ok with my car and to know that if I ever needed any help to contact him.When I need a new car I will always go back to Kris!

Great 2012 Kia Optima

I went to Lou Fusz Kia and Charles Wagstaff was my salesman I dealt with there. It was a great car buying experience. The Kia Optima is overall impressive car. I would recommend the dealership.

Great Service

My husband and I just purchased a Forte from Lou Fusz Kia. We love it. The salesman, Mike Light, was great. He helped us get a great deal on a new car that is going to save us lots of money. It was a low pressure enviornment and everyone was very nice.

My car buying experience was great. Lou Fusz Kia is a costomer friendly environment. The saleman and sales manager (Kevin Jackson) made the process go smooth and easy, and I was very happy with the deal and the extra perks that came alone with it !!!

Terrible sales

Went here hoping for a positive outcome. We came home with an 08 Kia Sedona. Tony and Lisa are not at all truthful, so many times we were lied to. First, they came back with a price on the car higher than what the car was listed as online and the price was even on a sticker on the front windsheild. Second, They removed the 2nd row floor mats from the vehicle before we drove it off the lot. I called Tony the next morning and he siad he can't see why they would have removed the floor mats. Then Tony tried replacing the floormat with one from an older and much smaller version of the Kia Sedona. The color did not even match. I tried to contact Lisa early in the day that same day, never a call back from her. If your gonna purchase a car from Lou fusz Kia, make sure they didn't remove anything from the car. I specifically remember the floor mats because I lifted them up while checking out the car to see what the carpet was like underneath and you can clearly see that there were floor mats in there before we drove off the lot. Third, Sticker on windsheild also had car fax info which said 1 owner when in fact the real car fax claims that this exact Kia Sedona that we came home with had 3 owners. Lies, Lies, Lies!!! When dealing with this car dealership deffinatley be on your toes.

Best Dealership in St. Louis and America

My wife and I just purchased a 2008 Kia Rondo EX/6cyl. Wow what a car. Also, WOW what a dealership. Everyone there in the sales force helped us out! When our salesperson was busy (they only have 4 salespersons) another one stepped in and helped us. We had so many questions, even though we did our homework on the vehicle before we purchased. And the finance guy - Joel - was great too. He found us the best interest rate possible and offered us the best extended warranty on could ever ask for. Not only will we recommend our friends to purchase a KIA - but to purchase it there. And the Service department is great too. The whole place has the nicest and most knowledgeable folks working there. No pressure was ever exerted. They have us as a customer for life - Thanks Marv, John, Brian and all the rest of you folks - we really appreciate what you did for us!

I couldn't possibly say enough good things about the staff at Lou Fusz Kia. I recently purchased a Kia Rio with the help of sales representative Robert Painter and finance manager Sam Day and it was more like visiting an old college roommate than price negotiations. Painter and Day went out of their way to assist me and treat me like a human being, not just dollar signs. I got a great deal on my car and I actually had a good time at the dealership. This is definitely where I would send anyone interested in purchasing a Kia.

What a zoo!

We arrived at Lou Fusz Kia in the afternoon prepared to trade an F-150 for an Optima w/leather. They had given us a reasonable internet quote to get us in the door. Our initial contact with the company via their website was from the Manager assigning us Salesperson A as a point of contact for our arrival. Upon our arrival, Salesperson A passed us off to Salesperson B. (Not a big deal... but wait, there's more!) About 15 minutes, a quote on the trade-in and a walk thru of the inventory, I realized Optima's didn't have ABS standard. (These days, who DOESN'T have ABS standard?!?) Anyway, when I mentioned it to "B", his response was, "Well, is that important?" (Would I have asked?) So we started re-thinking the Optima. About 15 minutes later, more customers arrived and Salesperson B bailed on us for his other customers. B never mentioned to tell us he was changing to other customers (we heard second hand) and we went back to Salesperson A. Bottom line 1: the Optima w/the ABS added basically puts it at a close cost to Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, etc (all of the companies I thought Kia would be cheaper than). Bottom line 2: If you visit, you may want to call ahead & see how busy they are... or expect multiple hand-offs. We probably won't be back.
