Outstanding Customer Service

Dave Sinclair Buick, 5655 S Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63123 is the best! I have had Nissans, Fords and Chevrolets over the years. Never have I had the great customer service that I’ve received at Dave Sinclair Buick and I bought my car from another Buick Dealer. The time, I will buy from this dealership!

Maintenance and Recall .

I brought my 2015 vehicle in for regular maintenance and a recall. My truck was taken care of in time and on time. Justin Welch kept me informed on the status of my truck and I also needed a rental which was also provided so I could return to work. Also, I was greeted by many of the other Service Writers. I go in to Dave Sinclair Buick Service Department with the confidence of the Service Writers and Technicians to take care of my vehicle whether it is to maintain, repair or even purchase tires. The service advisor went above and beyond … by having my car returned to me since I was unable to leave my office to get my car due to an employee having been ill and taken to the hospital. Exceeded my expectations!!

Forgot to do the work charged

I brought my Enclave (2014) in for electrical issues snd a missing rear wiper blade. They fixed the battery and told me the car was good to go. As we drove away I noticed the rear wiper was still missing. They charged me for it. Turns out there were non in stock. Had to wait till they found one. Not too swift

1 hr or Bust!

We were driving to the big city to make a fast purchase for a quick trip. While the wife searched the internet, I drove like a banshee in hopes of finding a fair deal. Then out of the BLUE she finds a hit. A 2013 Grand Caravan at Dave Sinclair. Price range is perfect, year model is good, is it available though? I make the call and Rob answers the phone. We tell him about our time crucnch and he immediately goes to work. He locates the vehicle and secures a test drive. We arrive 20 minutes earlier than planned and tell him we have 1 hr max to buy and leave. He accepts the challenge and we take a promising test drive and get back to secure financing. 40 minutes left. We agree on the price and he sends us off to The Grand Pooba, Dave Sinclair for final approval. 25 minutes left. Dave comes out and tells us it will be close on making our time frame. The wife insists on success in order to close the deal. Watching the minutes tick away, almost 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. Couldnt pick a busier time for a dealership, to make a quick buy. 5 minutes to go and Dave comes back with hidden smile behind his covid mask, the deal has an adjustment to make. We agree and move to the signature of the new addition to the FAMILY. We still was about 10 minutes late getting to our next appointment but that was due to Fast food service coming in a little slower than needed. In conclusion, Rob Fulmer and the Dave Sinclair Team knocked this one out of the park. One more note , Rob personally worked on the cleaning of the vehicle and once we had left he called about 5 minutes later, we told him we had to go and he offered to have the vehicle delivered to us on Monday. Smiles on our face as we took him up on the offer. This one of our best car buying adventures ever. Next time we will definitely give Rob And Dave Sinclair our first shot at getting the vehicle we are after.

They had what I was looking for!

Rick did a great job understanding what we wanted and was proactive in getting ahold of us when a vehicle that fit our needs came up for sale. The maintenance dept. did a nice job getting the car ready, and Rick help us set up the car before leaving. My only concern was the detailing could have been better in attention to detail.

Great Deal on used GMC Sierra 2500 4WD Crew Cab

I went to Dave Sinclair because I've bought new vehicles from them and their service is great. DeeJay was able to answer all of my questions about the used truck I purchased. He supplied all of the Carfax information and showed me in print an answer to all of my questions about the specs on the truck. I wanted a truck to pull with and he proved this one would do the job. The price beat everything else I was looking at with that year and mileage in consideration. DeeJay knew his vehicles and went out of his way to help without being pushy. I will definitely go back to Dave Sinclair the next time I am shopping for another vehicle.

We purchased a Cadillac XT5 all they were care about was sign this paper, sign this paper. We were they for 5hrs. Just to buy and sign papers. We weren’t showed about the car they cleaned up supposedly it was still dirty. After we signed the papers the salesman disappeared. Very dissatisfied love my car. The finance guy talked to us about the extended warranty yes we purchased it, but we called and said we found cheaper warranty coverage he practically bit my head off. Told me I was pretty much crazy to do that. How they wouldn’t deduct from my payment. Very rude. I am sorry I do t have the money they have I was trying to save money. But he refused to take it off. Not a happy customer.

Sales Man is not the reason for only 2 stars

Let me start this review by saying this was my 3rd Vehicle purchase at this location in about a 4 year period.. The first 2 were about as pleasurable of an experience as I have had buying a car, The sales Manager Jeff was mega helpful, and we had the same sales guy for both also, his name was Chris.. these were both New purchases.. My experience on this one was not so awesome. this time around we were working with the pre owned guys, we actually worked with 2 salesman Jeff and Oliver...Oliver was straight forward, and a very nice guy, and when I told him what I was looking for out of the deal he did not promise me anything because he wasnt sure it would be possible, and that is really all I ask out of a sales guy.. Jeff was not around much for the negotiation, but I dealt with him on everything else and he was Mega nice and Helpful.. Where I had any issues, at least I think, was with Nick the sales Manager.. I went in to look at specific car, and my concern the entire time was with what they would be willing to give me on my trade in.. I made it very clear from the beginning, that if we could not make a deal happen I would understand, and there would be no hard feelings, but I had a set loan Term i was willing to go, and had number I needed for my car, or a spread from trade in on our old car to sales price on the new car and i would not budge.. Again, i made it very clear that if we couldn't make that happen, I wasn't going to be upset, I understand they are running a business and the goal is to make money, I didn't expect them to loose money making me happy..In fact, had they told me "Sorry, we just cant make that happen" after trying to get to the deal I needed, I would have probably done this review for them still and given them 5 stars.. But thats not what was done, I was told they couldnt reach my terms, and "they would do some research" to see if they could swing giving me more for my trade in, and i left in my car and had no issues with it... just for frame of reference, the car i was looking to purchase was $30,000 and the car I was trading in, I needed $23,000 for, so a spread of $7,000 is what I was looking for, and was told the most they could give me was $21,250... so i left thinking we couldn't quite get there.. flash forward to 3 days later, i get a phone call from Oliver asking if i had re thought the deal, I said "no, I have to stick to my originally budget, but thanks for checking"... Id say about 25 minutes later I get a voicemail from Oliver Saying "I just spoke to Nick, and he said go ahead and give you $23,000 for your car".. So I called back and said I would be there in the morning... when I arrived the deal they had drawn up had the New car at $29,500 and them giving me $21,750 for my car.. while an improvement, still not what I had told them multiple times I needed to buy the car, or what I was told on the phone to get me back in the building.. I needed the spread between trade in and purchase price at 7k and that put me at almost 8k.. when i addressed the discrepancy, I was told by Nick, that there must have been some "miscommunication".. and he shifted the blame on Oliver.. I dont know exactly what happened, but I can tell you I have a voicemail still on my phone that says "Nick said to give you 23k for your car"... and My guess is Nick told him to tell me that just to get me back in the door thinking I wouldnt make a stink over $750 difference on the deal.. and it worked because I bought the car, and thats on me.. I will also add that Drew the finance guy did a fantastic job for me, and he saw I was visibly frustrated with the situation, and he worked the numbers in a way that the deal was something I could stomach, and worked for my budget... So basically my thoughts are this, The new car lot guys are fantastic, the financing department always does a good job for us.. But if your dealing with pre-owned, make sure you have done your research and pay attention to every number in the deal, and be prepared for some old school sales tactics... I probably wont purchase Pre-Owned from them ever again

Standard Oil Change ????

We seems to have the BEST service at Dave Sinclair Buick GMC. Other times is is OUTSTANDING. Our last visit was outstanding. We walked in t make an oil change appointment and guess what ? They could take care care of right now. Chauffeured us to and from lunch at a nearby restaurant while service was being performed. Car was returned washed. Which is a service, sorry to say I have come to expect.
