Very Unprofessional

by JRussel on 11/01/2014

We bought a new Carolla for our adult son. It was a lease and he was a consigner. Sadly, he died unexpectedly several months later. Patty Peck told us to call corporate. Honda corporate told us to call Patty Peck. They promised to check on wholesaling and contact other dealers and call us back. We never heard anything until last month when I received a "Happy Birthday John" email to which I responded that we were extremely offended. It's been over a month and no one has called or email to apologize and tell us he is off their email list. There's no excuse for this level of callousness.

Very Pleasant Experience

by zoomommy3 on 10/26/2011

I am very pleased with our purchase of a 2012 Odyssey! We worked with Ed Redding and he made this entire process very pleasant. We were very happy with not only the attention that he gave us but the manner in which he did it. He always managed to strike just the right balance between enough contact and not too much. And he even helped us transfer car seats. :-) Ed also made sure that we knew we could call on him any time if we had questions or needed further clarification of any of the many bells and whistles that are on the van. We were very happy with the deal that we made with the dealership, and very happy with the service that Ed gave us. Overall excellent experience.

Beware

by snakeyez on 03/25/2011

I went here to see what kind of deal I could get. I said I'm buying within a 2 months paying in cash with no trade in. This was after waiting to talk to someone for 30 min. I get asked are u interested in buying today if we can work on a deal and I said no. But why ? Because it's a big purchase and I am not in a rush. Then this other guy comes in to tell me well whe. You are going to buy we definitely could give you a price we have won awards. So I ask any numbers or what? Well no because things can change. I walked out.I have dealt with Honda in other p,aces and get the same crap when you pay with cash and not willing to. Commit there. Once a sales rep told me I can give you this price if u finance but I wanted to pay cash. OveRall don't rec unless you have gotten prices from other places and tell them You are buying that. Day.

Mrs. Williams

by mekawilliams on 12/25/2009

I went to Patty Peck to talk to a salesman about purchasing a 2010 Honda Accord EX-L. I told the salesman that I had a quote from another dealership. The salesman told me that his sales manager would match the quote that I had recieved from another dealership. He asked me all of my personal information and asked me to sign the credit application. I told him that I didn't want to run my credit until we agreed upon figures. I asked to speak with the sales manager myself. The salesman told me that everything had already been worked out and all he needed was my signature on the paper. I trusted him and signed the credit application. I realized very quickly that the figures weren't what we agreed upon. The salesman and his managers had ran my credit just to see what I qualified for. The salesman told me that I qualified for a 3.9 interest rate and was approved for financing through American Honda, but they couldn't match the quote that I had recieved from another dealership. I immediately got upset because the salesman told me that his sales manager had matched the quote that I was given by another dealership. I was also upset because I made myself very clear to him about not running my credit until they agreed to match the quote that the other dealership had given me. I spoke with the sales manager and the general manager about the situation. They claimed not to know anything about me asking for my credit not to be ran until they agreed to match the quote that I had recieved from another dealership. They told me that I signed the credit application and that was all they needed to run the report. I told them that they were lying to me and others about not running their credit until all figures were agreed upon. I told them that the salesman didn't even do a buyers order or any other paper work to figure out my figures or show any kind of negotiation between the seller and the buyer. I told them that they didn't have a right to lie to customers about signing a credit application just to file in the records until figures get agreed upon and then the credit application will be submitted. I told them that they don't have the right to run someone's credit without agreeing upon figures on a vehicle. I also expressed the concern about pulling people credit score down knowing that they aren't going to sell the car for the customers asking price. I would advise anyone that wants to buy a car from Jackson, MS not to buy from Patty Peck Honda. They will lie to you about the selling price and running your credit. I advise anyone who call or go there not to sign a credit application or give out any personal information unless you have a buyers agreement with the price of the car in front of you. I can say that I bought the car I wanted from another dealership who gave the the quote that Patty Peck Honda salesman, sales manager, and general manager lied about giving me.

Internet Sales

by uswebworx on 08/15/2008

Dwan Vaughn and Ed went out of there way to help me make my purchase, even though it did take 2 days to complete the transaction. Keith Kellum was a big help in getting me the price I needed to complete the transaction. They bent over backwards for me. My only gripes would be that by them making nothing on the front end they kind of told me in oder to complete the transaction they would need to make money on the back end which I allowed and am regretting it now, I purchased the extended warranty and have found out the hard way that Honda has an excuse for every problem I am still debating getting a refund on this. And they made 2 points on rate which makes my credit look worse than it is. I was approved at 5.9% they bumped it to 7.9% and sold me a warranty I feel is useless, this will be covered on my service review. My finance guru was Max and when i went back to talk to him about he said we had a "gentleman's agreement on it" and to sooth me over had them place foglights on my car for free, well if the salespeople would have remembered this was one of the things I asked for at the beginning of my car shopping so I don't see this as a favor from Max................... Overall I would give this dealership in this order Dwann Vaughn - 9 Ed - 10 Keith - 10 Max - 7

Buyer Beware

by peachgin14 on 03/25/2008

Buyer beware of the friendly impressions of this dealership. Buyer beware of the deceit the associates of Patty Peck Honda can tell without a conscious. Understanding contract terms, I still deem the audacity to under mind a customer and so audaciously without any sense of humiliation at all isn’t competent for the business. Customer service may seem as two small words, however the meaning of those words speak volumes. Our purchase was a used car, however Bob Aubrey backed his service manager Doug saying he couldn’t fix the automobile we purchased from them. The statement on website is, (...at Patty Peck Honda serviced and inspected by our Certified Technicians), leading us to believe the issue was masked, not fixed and/or previously aware and injudiciously sold. In a conversation with us, Bob stated, “That’s why we sell them as is”. No warranty was mentioned until the paperwork was submitted, however having a cashier check for the total amount of purchase we couldn’t deface the check, nor were options explained to us. He also backed Keith Kellum who cowardly wouldn’t even face us after many phone conversations, the lies he told about rectifying our situation by trading the vehicle for us, which is “now believed a known lemon car”. And in the middle the happy go lucky sales representative Dwann Vaughan displaying great training to produce a sale even if deceptively. Patty Peck Honda seemed to have been a reputable business which is why we ultimately traveled to the dealership only to obtain a headache, frustration, a bunch of unfulfilled commitments and deceitful practices of doing business.
