3500 recalls and chips

I scheduled an appointment to have recalls and my chip installed that was owed to me from GM. Upon arrival I was told that the mechanic was really backed up and that I should leave my truck there. I informed them I lived over 100 miles away and wasnt able to do that. They later said no problem. we would get you in and out within an hour. Then they told me the part wasnt in stock, after waiting almost an hour. I don’t believe they told me the truth about this, because they knew I was going to be upset after traveling a long way to have this maintenance issue corrected.
