"Great car buying experience"

Past week I purchased a new Q60 from Herrin-Gear Infiniti in Jackson, MS. I had been shopping for several weeks basickly the whole country for the right car at a great price. After some over the phone and text negotiations we came to a good conclusion and I traveled from Florida to Jackson MS. My new car was prepped as expected and the whole interaction was a great experience from the numerous communications with Terrance to the final paperwork with Jamie. Herrin-Gear Infiniti did a great job well done. "Thank you"

Always a pleasure

I would not bring my vehicle anywhere else. I know that my vehicle is in tip top condition all thanks to the service department. I depend on them to keep me safe on the road and they do just that!

Nightmare service!

First of all, I have beef a customer of Herrin-Gear Infiniti since 2012 and have always been extremely pleased, although expensive, until this experience. Our driver’s side ac only blew hot air, couldn’t control the temp. nor blowing force. I called many times over a 2 week period, left multiple messages for Randy Walker, never received a call back. Finally giving up on him, I took my Infiniti to Nissan in Meridian, MS since Nissan owns Infiniti. I was told that they could fix it. After 8 visits to them, we live over 35 miles each way (560 miles) and their claim of trying 4 different actuaries, they finally decided that they couldn’t fix it and only gave me a small partial refund. I started calling Randy again and eventually got him. He apologized for not getting back with me assured me that they could fix my car. He said that they couldn’t give me a loaner car since my car was over 7 years old, although they have always done so in the past) and we would have to leave the car. We live over 140 miles from the dealership (840 total miles to leave the car). The next day, Tuesday, Randy called me and said it was the actuary and they would have to order it. I authorized the work, but said to only do that. The next Tuesday, a week later I had not heard from anyone, I started calling Randy again and left multiple messages again. No return call, so I spoke to the woman who answered the phone and told her my situation, she said Randy was on vacation. She tried connecting me to other service providers, they all were either “this person is unavailable “ or their mailbox was full. Finally after repeated calls, she said that she would have the service manager call me, but he did not. The next morning, 9 days after leaving my car, I called the Parts Department and asked if the part had come in and he said yes and he would follow-up on it. Later that morning the service manager called and wanted me to talk to the mechanic. The mechanic said that they put the actuary on but still didn’t work, he thought it was a block that was broken inside and he said that it wasn’t feasible because of the cost. He said that he thought that he could get it working through the rear seat control. He said that was for the heat, he hadn’t checked to see if it worked for the AC. I asked him to see if it would work with the AC and get me a price of replacing the block. He said that he would call me back that afternoon. The service manager called that afternoon and said the block replacement would be $28??. + tax, total over $3,000. Told him to forget that, too much. We would be in the next morning between 10:00-10:30 to get the car. Arrived the next morning at 10:10, he said that it wouldn’t be ready until afternoon, claimed that I didn’t say between 10:00-10:30. He was still going to charge for the actuary that didn’t work plus diagnostics, over $1000. Argued back and forth for over an hour. Told them to take the actuary off since it didn’t work anyway . Told me that the labor was over $800.+, although they removed the new actuary and replaced the old one in less than 30 minutes. Left there in 1 hr. & 20 minutes with my car still not fixed, same as when I brought it in, costing $234.26 for Nothing. I also believe that they drained my gas tank, since the gas was so low that it wouldn’t even register. I had to buy gas immediately, I never ever let my car get that low on fuel. I also have about a 2” scratch on my driver door that they tried to paint over, that wasn’t there when I left my car with them. They once had good service but definitely no more!

Herrin-Gear Infiniti- great buying experience

Terrance Burnett is vey knowledgable, straightforward, helpful & unassuming salesman- fine qualities & most appreciated with large purchase like a new vehicle where I would otherwise often feel at a disadvantage. Also, his manager, Mr. Shanehan Westfall was attentive & responsive to his salesman in helping culminate a deal as opposed to strong-arm tactics I encountered in Augusta. This is my third Infiniti to buy from this dealer in five years, this most recent purchase bought sight unseen, negotiated by phone from South Carolina. I highly recommend Herrin Gear Infiniti & Mr. Burnett.

Wow, the customer service at Herrin-Gear infiniti is amazing. They have a clean dealership, with employees that meet you at the door. I drive 95 miles one way just to get a oil change , that's how great the service is at Hearin-Gear. Great products, Great service, Great people... #True Customers Service.

Awesome Experience

I was looking for a '16 XQ80 and was contacted by Dana Stein. I was apprehensive about the Wheat interior and the bucket seating. Dana was able to find me a style that matched my personality, while sticking to the budget provided. She was very knowledgeable and helpful, since I was doing the entire purchase afar. She even made arrangements to have the vehicle delivered to me, which was even more convenient. Definitely the person to visit if you're looking for a new vehicle.
