Transmission Work

I had a large transmission repair done to my vehicle. I was given a complimentary vehicle to use while my car was in the shop for two weeks. The work was finished just in time for me to pick my vehicle up for a trip I was making. My disappointment was the lack of communication of when my vehicle would be ready. I was the one calling for updates even after being told the dealership would call me back. When I got the invoice I was in a hurry and had to leave. Once I reviewed the invoice, I found that I was charged $450 for the loaner car. If I had known I was going to be charged, I would have made other arrangements as there is a fleet of vehicles at my work I could have used. I appreciate the work done but I wish the communication was different.

Find someone better, Walser or anyone else

Never buy from them. I've bought from and talked to a wide variety of dealers in the past years and past months about used vehicles. Every single one but this one does an inspection when they buy them, tells you what might need to be fixed and almost all fixed any issues. They never raised the price, never added on fees for fixing or doing their job. Not this place, Max who sold us the vehicle said they don't inspect because then they would be liable for repairs or issues. Yeah, that's your job, to tell people the issues so they make an informed buying decision. Then max just passed the buck because you know, used car salesman. I've always had my hesitations working with car dealers, and this pretty much reinforces it. Can't trust them, they'll lie, misguide and completely screw you in the end. They failed to even clean or detail the vehicle (which is one of the most common things every dealer has ever done), didn't tell us the jack and spare tire and wheel were missing. No book, third row seat was broken and we didn't know until we wen't to use it. Cruise control didn't work nor does backup camera, but they advertised all those items in the listing, which would mean they exist and work. Then the water pump went a couple weeks after it, had to buy a spare tire, spare wheel, a new jack, fix the cruise control and waiting on the backup camera. I've never seen a dealership so lazy and derelict in their duty to provide a basic inspection of a vehicle they bought from someone. On top of that they charged a fee that was suppose to be refunded in by the next monday, 2 days later for reserving the vehicle, which took them almost two weeks to refund. All in all, not a dealership that can be trusted or one you want to do business with. I'll be reaching out to state officials and other organizations to share how much fraud they seem to be committing by not doing their basic job. They aren't some small used car dealership, so how they operate like this is beyond me. Worse customer service I have ever experienced and if you find a vehicle there, go elsewhere, it's not worth the time and hassle unless you enjoy being treated like crap.

Total pressure and frustration

Very worst and frustrating experience by far on cary buying. Went on purchase for a used car which is priced way high without any clear price online. The sales man wanted to have a 2000 or 1000 non refundable deposit for a 12000 car which is totally bad. While I made arrangements with credit union to bring the check next day and asked for purchase agreement sign up was answered that the car is bought and hung up on phone while my banker tried to get a reason not for selling to me . Total frustration and pressure with sales. Totally dishonest.

Oil Change

I like how it's usually fast and for me Saturday service. The advisers are all friendly and professional. The one thing I would change is if you are going to try to tell me I need the "sever" service schedule they should tell m that I wouldn't normally change my transfer case or differentials with that low of miles but that was a different appointment.

Great customer service from everyone but I didn't appreciate the fact that gm wouldn't pay for my part to be replaced when it was just replaced a year ago. I'm still upset about it, and I won't buy another gm vehicle because of it.

Total satisfaction with the service dept. at White Bear Lake Superstore

I went in for a car wash on Wednesday morning and my engine started making a loud noise. Lonnie got a tech to analyze the problem. It was determined that I needed a new alternator. The part would not be available until Thursday morning so I was given a rental car. Lonnie is always friendly and helpful, the technician (Jason) was very concerned and found the problem, Jerry made sure I was being taken care of. What an awesome group of people!! I just cannot say enough good things about the service department. Lonnie is always great, Jason was helpful, and Jerry makes sure I am well taken care of. Awesome people!! Awesome service!!! I am so thankful for their honesty. I know I can trust them and you cannot put a price tag on the total trust I place in them. I would never go anywhere else for service or if/when I need a new vehicle. White Bear lake Superstore is the very best!! They treat me like family!!
