Excellent Experience

I worked with Gretchen Tellock and had an amazing experience. She was very professional and worked her magic with getting exactly what I was asking for my trade in. There was no playing the system and going back and forth. The whole process of buying a new car took maybe about 2 and half hours from test driving to signing the paper work. I was so cold while signing the paperwork that one of the employees even temporarily gave me a jacket to keep warm. I felt very much like a valued customer and would recommended anyone to Borton Volov Cars. I love my new car and the whole experience!

I have dealt with David Fuhs for the past few weeks as I had been in the market to purchase a new vehicle and I have to say he was absolutely fantastic to work with. Extremely knowledge about the brand and products. Answered all of my questions (over a few weeks) and was very patient with me. Again, answered ALL of my questions! Never met him before this experience, but I honestly felt like I was making a purchase from a good friend. I recently made my purchase from him and I am feeling so satisfied. My wife and I recently bought a used Volvo from your Golden Valley office and Gretchen Tellock assisted us. She was wonderful! Never did we feel that we received a lesser service because we were buying used vs. new. Gretchen was just super excited that we chose to work with Borton Volvo! She was courteous from the beginning and worked extra hard to make sure we were perfectly comfortable with our purchase. You could tell that she cared more about making us happy than selling us a car. She took the time to get to know us and understand our needs. Never did she push us toward anything that might make us uncomfortable (i.e. higher priced vehicle). She was great, and when we return in the future, we will always insist on Gretchen, and are motivated to tell others about her as well. Please thank her for us and let her know that she should continue to do what she does and she'll have many happy customers! Thanks from Amy & Steve!

Gretchen Tellock was wonderful to work with. She was super responsive, had everything ready, made the process including returning my other car to a different dealership easy peasy! The financing also went smoothly and quickly and I was in and out in a couple hours driving my Q5, which I love!

We are not car people and hadn't bought a new car in many years. We were lucky that Kevin Nikiforakis was there to greet us and help get us the car of our dreams - a 2017 XC60. Kevin showed us every pre-owned vehicle we wanted to see, invited us to sit with him to search by mileage, features, color, etc. and then gave us as much time as we needed to test drive. We looked at and compared features of other models. He took care of the details needed to make our used car feel clean, shiny and new to us. We are won-over by Volvo and Kevin and we love our car. My salute to Kevin Nikiforakis of the Pre Owned Vehicle Division of Borton Volvo of Golden Valley MN. I found a car through Wings Financial Auto Smart web link that was for sale at Borton's of GV. Upon arrival to do a test drive of the vehicle I was greeted by Kevin who was enthusiastic and very customer attentive. The car did not meet my approval at which point he immediately asked us to take a seat at his desk to see what type of vehicle we were looking for, the price range that we wanted to stay in. This is what he did, he patiently pulled out cars, encouraged the test drives, take our time feel good with our choices, all while staying patient and enthused. Right before leaving thinking "today isn't the day" he said "Come I have one more that I would like you to take a look at just because" That one more was the deal maker!! We walked away feeling like we were valued and appreciated with our car under foot! Toodles to the staff at Borton Volvo of GV, MN the staff was "On Point" Thank you a Zillion times over Kevin! I made the decision to buy the Volvo XC 60 and took a test drive at Borton Volvo. The salesperson was knowledgeable and responsive. He told me about their program to fund a trip to Sweden to pick up the SUV. We went as a family and had a great experience. Volvo paid for two business class tickets which we swapped for three economy - they have a very helpful team that does the travel booking. They drove us to the hotel and put us up for the night. I asked for EU maps to be uploaded into the SUV. We got to see the Volvo factory and picked up the SUV the next day. We spent the next week traveling and returned to the same hotel for a final night and dropped of the SUV. This was a great program and very well managed! I recommend it.

These guys are real Pros! The Sales Manager at Borton was incredible to work with. When we couldn't find exactly what we were looking for onsite, he went to work for us. He called us later in the evening and had OUR EXACT MATCH, detailed and delivered within 24 hours. I'll definitely be buying from Borton for years to come.

Thanks to Gretchen Tellock and the wonderful staff at Borton’s Volvo, my car buying experience was seamless! I purchased first Volvo and I couldn’t be happier with it. I got the opportunity to experience it’s safe drive in freshly fallen snow and haven’t felt this confident driving in Minnesota weather in a while. Gretchen accommodated my family’s needs at every turn and even included my daughters in the process. We have been Boston Volvo customers for 25 years; between us and our children we have purchased more than 10 vehicles from them. We always feel as if we are the most important customers. We purchased a used vehicle today, our salesperson, Brenda, delivered excellent service and was fun to work with. The sales manager Drake, with whom we have worked before, was accommodating and fair. Although we did not use the service department today, I want to give a shout out to the staff there. Best in the business, all around.

My daughter & I had the best experience buying a used car from Borton Volvo last week!! Everything was wonderful!! Tristian Grobel provided great information about the car on-line. He couldn't be there the day we came to look at the car but he asked his co-worker Andy Jensen to meet with us. Andy had the car washed & vacuumed before we arrived. Andy was very knowledgeable about the car. He was wonderful to work with! We were treated wonderfully!! Paul Christenson, Business manager, did a great job explaining the loan process. We loved having the gas tank filled up to send us on our way!! Thank you for the Best Customer Service Ever!! We highly recommend Borton Volvo in Golden Valley, MN.

Getting my first Volvo was a big step but i didn't have to take it alone. Gretchen spent the time it took to educate me about the models, trim packages. and car features. One of my test drives was on a rainy day but I knew exactly how to use the wipers (and many other features) because Gretchen made sure I knew. We settled on an XC90 Momentum T6 and after much deliberating (me) on the exterior/interior color combos , I found my car! Gretchen is not only knowledgeable about the cars she also coordinated my time with Paul in finance and Matt on the tech features and the service department for adding the tow package, making the total process smooth and fun. I look forward to staying with Borton Volvo for service and maintenance on my beautiful car. Thanks Gretchen!

Gretchen did a great job in the sales process. Helped us find the right deal for us! She explained the features / buttons BEFORE we test drove the car so we understood what everything did. ( not all dealers do this ). We, also, liked the product specialist, Matt. That is a nice training tool.
