I bought a new 2018 Trax LS September 2018, and I was never told up front that it did not have cruise control. Who would think to have to ask if a 2018 model has cruise!? After discovering that it did not have cruise, I called the dealer the same day to ask if I could return the vehicle and of course it was to late. They informed me that most LS models do not come with cruise. If they knew this, why did they not tell me when I first inquired about the LS model? I will tell you why, it is because they wanted to get it off their lot. I guess it should have been a red flag to me that they still had two LS models on their lot. When I started this whole process I was shopping around at other dealers and once I told them the name of the dealer that I was dealing with they quickly told me nothing but bad things about them, however, they themselves cannot be up front and honest. I was informed that they could put the cruise control in for $800.00. I asked if they could work with me on the price or pay for half and of course they did not. I spoke with the service department and made an appointment for a week later. I traveled to Glenwood which is 45 minutes from my home and I was there for 20 minutes and they informed me that they did not order the part! I demanded that they give me a loaner and deliver my car once complete. I received my car with cruise control a week later. Since it was an aftermarket job the placement of the cruise control is in the most awkward spot imaginable. For this reason I will not return nor do I recommend this dealership. The only reason I am giving them two stars is because they worked with me on the price. However, remember I was working with another dealer and they knew that they would have to come close to what the other dealer was going to do for me or I was going to walk.

I love the service here! I get my oil changes and "winterization" (very important here in MN!) done at Schweiters. If I need it scheduled on a work day, they just come and pick up my car right at the office and then bring it back to me! They change the oil, clean my windows, vacuum, all for an unbelievable cost! Everytime I pick up my bill, they explain to me in person all work done and if I might need to get something replaced... THANKS GUYS!
