Worst experience

Do not recommend this dealer if you are arranging your own finance they will make several excuses to not sell you. To get copy of sale deed, I was made to wait more than 2 hrs and then asked to leave by the sales guy mentioning he will send in email. Also excuse of accepting only in-state cheque when I have approved finance ready from my credit union. Since when a cashier cheque is not accepted in another state.

They will sell you a defective vehicle and not care

I found a car I wanted online and contacted the dealership they said it was ready, so I set up a time to see it when I got there, I was told it wasn't cleaned yet. well to me that’s not ready but they said they would take some off the price they also stated it had been mechanically checked over so I agreed but come time to finalize they said they forgot to take some money off but they would put gas in it gee what a deal on an already overpriced car whatever not the worst yet on the way home the car surged a little I just thought it was a fluke but the car continued to do it over the next week. so, I had my local Buick dealer look at it thinking it would be something simple but I was shocked when they told me there was metal and chunks in the transmission and quoted the repair at $6300 to be clear I asked this was a preexisting condition not something that just happened and they stated it has been bad for a long time. so I haven’t even had a tank of gas through my new car and its basically useless as is and it wasn’t a cheap car it was 13k so I tried to call the dealer (my salesperson) and was told she would call me back but never did she emailed me I need to contact the manager (brett) but in trying to do so multiple times I was always told he would call me back as he was away from his desk or out or something but I never did hear a word from him finally I did get a hold of someone that actually talked to me I told him what my dealership told me that it was preexisting and that if it was mechanically checked over the issue should have been found he said they don’t check necessarily mechanical as much as just for safety issues. I think a transmission that is erratic and could fail at any moment is a safety issue but apparently, they don’t. He told me the best they can do is I pay for the repair and they will cover half I didn’t think this was fair enough and he told me if I didn’t accept this then they won’t do anything at all so basically I was stuck taking the deal and having to do the repair and once done I emailed them the receipts and they did eventual send me a check but it was not even half like they had stated it would be so I guess they can’t do math either. At this point I was just surprised I received anything at all. I have bought lots of cars in my life and this was by far the worst car buying experience I have ever had. I would score them less than one star if I could. I will never do business with this dealership and make sure to tell everyone.

Resolution

We had recently posted a review for Morries in Buffalo and were unhappy with our outcome but after being able to speak with the General Manager we were all able to come up with a very good resolution in which we all came out in a much better position I feel. I want to send them a thanks for getting back to me and just helping to make things right in the situation. The staff here and sales people were awesome when we bought our car and would recommend them anytime they are willing to help for sure!!!

Horrible Service

POOR COMMUNICATION AND PUT OUR FAMILY SAFETY AT RISK. Please read entire review!! This is one dealer I would never return to or suggest anyone to go to after my experience. Don't get me wrong our sales person Mariah and Aaron in finance were absolutely awesome but what happened to us with this was messy and a safety risk to our family. We start when we bought our Explorer ST in Nov 2022 after we took the vehicle home we started having issues with it right away but we were actually rear ended so not able to drop it off for 5 months, then in May I took it to the service department with a long list to get fixed including a recall, we were actually out of state while they had my vehicle for 3 plus weeks, we got a call saying everything was done and fixed on the list and they were going to bring it to my house drop it off and pick up the loaner. After we get home only 3 of the 12 things were addressed I then proceeded to contact service and Tom the service manager where I called and left several messages and emails and not once heard back. Then again the vehicle was in another accident and lost it for another 2 months but in that time I tried to contact managers and service and still nothing, no response or anything just plain avoiding me. Then in July we took the Explorer to California on a 7k mile trip we started having issues on the way out which was addressed in the same day by a dealer in Las Angeles and 5 stars for them. On the way home we started noticing some noises and shutters and vibrations along with it driving really odd in corners and lose feeling. Once we got home still no calls or contact with anyone at Morries so I brought it to Lundeen Ford in Annandale and what a damn good team recommended them all day!!! After a very long inspection I was told it needed over 15k in warranty work and they told me that nothing that was presented to morries in May was fixed except the rear subframe and differential and the driver seat heater and a radio module. They also told me that the rear end was installed incorrectly and WE WERE LUCKY we were not in a serious accident on our long drive because the bolts for the rear sub frame were coming lose and they broke a bolt off of the rear driveshaft among some other very serious issues. There was over 35 lines of repair needed to be done and still through all this I still could not reach anyone but Aaron which was a help and also I was able to speak with Elias which is the operation manager for the company and I was given the run around about me not returning the vehicle to there dealer for repairs but oh I tried for months with no response from a single person. Elias then called me back a week later and said he could not help and would have the GM of the dealer contact me HIS NAME IS MARK, he told me he would speak with Lundeen and Consumer affairs. Consumer Affairs was an amazing help and worked very hard to get this all taken care of and made right with Lundeen no matter the cost. Finally consumer affairs got ahold of Mark after Dean could not reach him Dean is the service manager at Lundeen and Mark never returned his call but answered for consumer affairs and told them there was no responsibility from them at all they did nothing wrong she said "he acted as he did not care about the situation at all and was unwilling to help in any way" well its been at Lundeen for 3.5 months and just about finished and I am paying over $600 in diagnostic costs when it should have been fixed right the first time in May at Morries while it was still under warranty but since they did not address the issues I asked anout the gold warranty expired and was no longer covered so Ford paid over 2k for repairs no longer covered with warranty I was asked to pay $150 of this total which I am blessed to have happen. This is just pieces of the story and I am so disappointed with all this, a person spends 57k on a vehicle and this Is how were treated and a families life was put at risk. I really do hope that everyone sees this and thinks twice about this place for what they have done.

Excellent experience

Pour customer service

Sales guy seemed only concerned with how I should fill out the survey after the sale was complete. After the sale was complete several calls to my salesman went unanswered. Messages left for the new car sales manager were never answered. Very dissapointed in the lack of communication from salesman....never did hear from the manager. I would not advise making the drive to Buffalo.

Buyer Happy! -Quick and Easy!

I had been driving the lot just browsing vehicles as my salesman Travis introduced himself and assisted in searching for a vehicle I had seen advertised.. while the search turned up the particular vehicle wasn't on the lot currently; I was able to view another.. Travis was very patient, as I test drove and left the dealership to return less than 10 minutes later changing my mind not to wait for the other vehicle expected to be returned in a few days. The financing process was quick and easy, I'm very pleased as my browsing turned into a very quick purchase, Managers and service department were very accommodating in the process as well!

Wilson was a no pressure salesman who's focus was not on selling me a car but helping me find the Ford I was looking for with a focus on our needs and timing. Wilson found us a variety of vehicles, colors and options to look at and test drive. Wilson had good product knowledge and made us feel like he enjoyed working with us. Our experience with the finance representative was painless, he was respectful and spent the time to get us the best financing option. I am happy to say I now have a "Go to Guy" and dealership for my next vehicle search and we will definitely go back to Morrie's in Buffalo to work with Wilson and his team, Thank you for my Buy Happy experience. Used 2011 Edge purchase

Friendly, helpful sales staff. We are happy with the overall experience with a few exceptions. We waited over an hour to close on the vehicle when we had an appointment, we left with half a tank of gas, and the passenger rear tire indicator light came on after a few miles and the tire was 8 pounds low on air.

Morrie's was a great experience

I worked with Curt in sales who found one of the last remaining 2011 SEL sedans in a color choice we wanted. In comparison, our local Luther Ford dealership told us that there were no 2011s to be found, and didn't even try to find us one. Curt explained the Morrie's Buy Happy plan, and I was impressed. Unlike the previous reviewer, I am not aware of any charge for this plan (free oil changes for 3 years, unlimited powertrain warranty, free car washes, etc). Morrie's employees are paid the same for every vehicle they sell, so the advertised price on all cars is $100 over invoice. Since there was $2750 cash back on 2011s, we paid a fair price. All in all, our Morrie's experience was a positive one, and I foresee us purchasing our next vehicle from one of their dealerships.

bad serice and lots of gimmicks

I applied for a credit for a new mustang 2011 with my car as the down payment and no cash just my car. they call me in a few day that they find several banks that they can give me the loan, I whent to the dealer, managers floor and the financial guy, after we set the contract they printed and I found the "BUY HAPPY PLAN" is an optional plan and I ask to remove it and they inlcuded again for aprox $1500.00 or so, it unlcudes lots of services that I didnt whant it but they put it with out my consent, so they remove it and it took me more than an hour to make them do it, they get cranky. I ask for a calculator to see my monthly expenses, bills, carf paymenet, insurance etc. the finance guy when to get me one and he trow it on the desk that was very rude and then late ron he let, later on the sales manager was asking for that guy, and late ron he show up and I ask he were he was and hi told me very up set with very rude tone, I didnt eate since this morning so I went to the fridge to throw some food on my face I am very hungry, later on they ask me for $1600.00 cash up front and I told them that wasnt the deal that we were agree, so they told me, we are not goint to pay you to drive a new car, even more rude the sales manager too. so I decide to cancel this deal and I leave the dealer, I got an a horrible experience, bad service, gimmiks and lies....
