Stress Free Buying Experience!!

I want to take the time to acknowledge the great experience that I had while purchasing my new Ford Focus from Campbell Ford! Car buying, in the past, has always been very stressful and in the end I felt like I was being taken advantage of. This was certainly not the case at Campbell Ford! I would like to acknowledge and thank Mr. Allen Blad for making this possible. Mr. Blad was very professional, honest, and knowledgable, which made my purchase uncomplicated and pleasurable. If not for Mr. Blad, I would not have purchased my car from Campbell Ford. Thank you!

bought four cars here but not a fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, or ninth

I've run into a recent problem with this store in trying to buy a new car. I'm looking for a 2012 Mustang GT automatic, which this store's web site, for the past 6 weeks, says they have on their lot. But they don't have it, based on my visits there. I've pointed this out to them, but they haven't changed their web site enticement to correct the fact that they don't have the car on their lot that they say they have. Have you ever wanted to visit a store to see a car they say is in their inventory--I have, but I've been fooled 4 times in the past 6 weeks as they don't actually have in stock what they say they have. It's not a "we sold it yesterday and haven't yet updated our web site" situation. I've pointed out the issue to them various times and they haven't fixed it. Thus, it makes it tough for me to deal with them about buying the car they say on the web they have when they don't have it. Problems with their service department haven't helped. Ah, just give me a store to trust more.

Cars bt [violative content deleted]

BUYER BEWARE!! This is the worst place to buy a car ever!!! They never give you the price right away and if you say you've not been on their website, when they do finally quote a price, it's THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS MORE than their advertised web price!! They will tell you they are going to appraise your trade and then hold your car keys hostage, doing anything to keep you from leaving without making a purchase!! In the finance office, they will hammer you for hours on warranties and extras!! And in the end, even if you decline, they will try to slip one in regardless. They did this to me, sold me a warranty without my consent by slipping an extra form to sign in with the title paperwork! When I found out about it, while looking over the paperwork with my credit union, they first refused to cancel the warranty and ultimately only did so on threat of legal action, MONTHS LATER!! And don't get me started on the service department...I had an oil change there and they didn't even fill my brake fluid!! They typically charge 100-200% more than other garages in the area FOR THE SAME JOB!! The General Manager, ALLEN BLAD, is a foul man, I've seen him yell at and belittle his own employees on the showroom floor as well as overhead him calling customers "Bums" and even worse when he thought no one was listening!! AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP LIKE THE PLAGUE!! Jordan Ford, C. Wimberly, Gurley-Leep, Eby, Sieman's, etc, there are just too many other Ford Dealerships out there to go on supporting these [violative content deleted]! I've tried to support my local community by doing business in Niles, BUT I WAS BURNT BADLY and will never return!! LEARN FROM MY AGONIZING EXPERIENCES AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CAMPBELL FORD!!!!!

Awesome Deals

My huband and I purchased our minivan fromCampbell's and would purchase from them again in a heartbeat. Our experience is what buying a car should be. The salesmen were helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive to my questions. The team at Campbell's exceeded my expectations, from the first test drive, through my first few months of ownership (to date). Everyone was very helpful from the President on down. Thank you, Campbell's, for a great car-buying experience we highly recommend anyone in the area thinking about buying a Ford or Mercury to try here first!

Avoid this dealership at all costs!

I have dealt with most of the car lots in the michiana area, South Bend, Mishawaka, Niles area and this is the worst! Avoid it at all costs. I saw a car I was interested in, so I decided to try them out and make an offer. I gave them an offer on a car a little below the MSRP. The MSRP was also posted on their web site. Did not hear back from them for two days. When one of their sales people finally contacted me, she told me she would check my offer with management and get back with me. Two more days later she calls me back and asked me if anyone had contacted me yet, I said no. Again she tells me she will call me back. The next day she calls me back and tells me my offer has been accepted she will proceed with my financial application. Two days later she calls me back and asked if anyone has contacted me and I tell her no. She calls me back and tells me the financing went through fine I can come in later with my trade in vehicle and sign the paperwork. About an hour before I was to be there, I received a call from another sales person that wants to know who I have been working with on this deal and what the accepted offer was. He tells me he will get right back with me. A few minutes later he calls back and tells me they can not honor the offer now and will not sell the car to me for the accepted price. The next day I called the manager and he basically said no deal and if you don't like it sue me. That same day the price of the vehicle was raised. I found out their advertised price was wrong, can you say "false advertisement" on top of it. Every person I spoke to at this dealership was irresponsible and rude. I will never deal with them again. One good thing about it, I found a better deal at another dealership.
