Price Gouging

Had a deal to buy a new car plus trade in used one. When they brought sales agreement for me to sign, they added $3000 to list price because of supply shortage. Never mentioned until then! Shame on you La fontaine. Maybe you can hoard toilet paper and masks for the next pandemic to profit.

The LaFontaine Family Deal is for the LaFontaine Family of dealerships and not for their customers. They couldn’t be bothered with helping me find what I wanted, they only want to sell me what they had. I needed to get a vehicle quickly. I was told that they wouldn’t be able to get the vehicle I wanted with the option package I wanted from another lot. I did make calls to other dealers in the area but needed to move quickly. Before hearing back from the other dealers and being reassured that I was getting the best deal, I signed. Shortly thereafter I got the ‘out the door’ pricing from the 2 other dealers. One was $1200 less, the other about 1800 less. Because I already completed the paperwork I was not able to get the advertised best price guarantee.

Setting and rising above the standard for customer service

Lafontaine sets the standard for Subaru quality and customer service. Jason and Justin go well beyond the typical car sales experience to create an exceeding comfortable and reassuring environment. After all, the money you spend on a vehicle is usually only second to what you spend on housing! We sat together, figured out my needs and what would work best for my situation. I am now the proud new lessee of a 2017 Subaru Impreza and could not be happier. They even had my favorite color on the lot! Looking forward to continuing to refer many friends and family members to this very special Subaru location. They truly do treat their customers as family.

went in to get new tires as they had the best price out the door. i also had coupons which they had emailed me if my car needed anything else. my coupon said $139.95 and they said they could give me a better price $89. they did the work in a timely matter and i am pleased

I went in to get the windshield wiper recall done and to get an oil change. Both were done promptly. However, near the end of the time period I was told they would take, I was called into the service bay because the tire inspection had revealed to the technician that my front tires were worn and needed to be replaced. This was also done promptly. Both the service writer and shuttle driver (I went home while the tires were installed and balanced) were efficient and friendly.

A great buying experience

We were very pleased with the experience at Lafontaine Subaru. Our Sales Consultant (Danielle) was terrific. She let the car speak for itself and didn't try to push or upsell. She was fully conversant with all the features and characteristics of the car and could answer all our questions. We were treated with enthusiasm and courtesy from the moment we walked in the door. We had called to see a particular vehicle that we had found on the web site and it was ready and waiting when we got there. When we were ready to take delivery, Danielle walked through all the new features with us (which was very important, since this was the first new car in 13 years!) and had synced the phone and uploaded the address book in a few seconds. When some kind of a computer glitch occurred during the application process, the whole team pitched in to fix it, and was cheerful and helpful and patient through the whole situation.
